Peri Peri Fries and Samosa Chat bowl
    Emily R.

Indigo Kitchen is a don't miss for delicious Indian food! My toddler and I were on vacation from Charlotte and had spent several days hanging out at Unity Park. Finally decided to grab dinner before heading home to CLT and man I wish I had tried it earlier, because we would've atleast gotten the Peri Peri fries everyday SO delicious and the family that owns the restaurant were so thoughtful and kind to my son and I. The drinks were a little sweet to me, but I'm mainly a water drinker- I think the size is so generous that it would be perfect to share. We had the (I believe they were bbq sliders- holy moly... as a native Carolinian... WOW they were good and that was as leftovers - because I was so satisfied from the Chana Masala and Peri Peri Fries. The Peri Peri fries, y'all, they knocked these out of the park. Anytime I am in Greenville or even passing through, I will stop and get Peri Peri fries and the bbq sliders... ugh, hungry just thinking about it! Plenty of seating at the Commons or of course make a picnic out of it. Everyone was really friendly and they kept me alert on food time. Food was so fresh and delicious and the mural was beautiful!

Came here for lunch today. I ordered the butter chicken, it contained little notes of sweet along the flavor journey. The portions were great for the price. I am excited to have this close by to the office now.

Prices are high, but the food is absolutely delicious! Service was great. I would come back when I have more money.

Very good Indian street food. Good value and right amount of spice and flavor. We will definitely be back.

The gossip was all true... great place to stop for a meal while you're on I-40 (or as the locals we…read morewere chatting with told us, stop by anytime!). Extremely friendly service. The locals raved over the nachos and I heard them ask for the recipe. I'm here to rave to you over the side salad. You get a choice of "boring fries" (their name not mine) or a side salad with your sandwich. Holy cow, that's the best side salad I've ever had. No boring iceberg and insipid tomatoes here. Spring greens, sweet onion, shaved fennel, gourmet tomatoes, pepitas (pumpkin seeds), Craisins and lots of fresh herbs with an amazing house-made vinaigrette dressing. Impressive. Absolutely make a stop here and see for yourself.

Killer vibe inside with 10 seat bar, 2 lounge areas, hightop seating and a large/covered dog and kid friendly patio. Best chicken sandwich and roast beef sandwich in all of WNC. All the sides, apps and desserts are amazing and worth going back to fryer everything on the menu. Chef Dano(founder of Root Down) started with a food truck rocking out at all those amazing Pisgah Brewery outdoor shows and most recently ran the food program at salvage station(RIP). Our guy is back and now are doing the same high quality tasty fare in beautiful West Black Mountain

Right by Fluor Field with a fun, lively vibe. We sat outside, which was clean, comfortable, and a great spot to hang out before an event. Service was fantastic. David, our server, was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable, and really helped elevate the experience. For food, we started with the wings (dry rub and Jamaican jerk). The flavors were decent, but the wings themselves were rubbery and a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price point. One standout though... the ranch dressing. Easily some of the best I've had. The breakfast tacos were good overall, and the chimichurri was fresh and flavorful. I think adding a creamy component would have taken them up another level. The sweet potato fries were fantastic. The chicken and biscuit was decent. The Nashville-style chicken had good flavor, but the tenders were on the smaller side, making the portion feel a bit lacking. The biscuit itself was solid. The tallow fries were also well done, and the Lefty's sauce was a nice addition. One unique touch at the end. You're given the option to send a postcard, and they handle the postage and mailing for you. A really fun and memorable detail. Overall, a good spot with great service and atmosphere, though some of the food execution and portion sizes could be improved.
