He walked out of my mom's surgery follow up appointment to take a phone call after pulling off her bandage in a non sterile environment, causing extreme pain and getting blood all over her clothes. Then he tried to put a brace over her exposed unhealed staples that would have rubbed them until I asked for him to do something else out of concern. He came into the room completely unprepared as if he hand even read her chart, asking us when the surgery was done after he pulled off her brace violently with out explaining anything he was doing. When my Mom said she was in pain he essentially said "well Of course your arm is broken" As I mentioned as we were asking questions about care and follow up he answered his phone and walked out and left us sitting there until one of the office aides came in and said we could go. We received no care instructions or any information other than 'come back in 2 weeks' from her. And being informed we owed them $20 for the brace. (Mind you they couldn't even run a credit card in their outdated office and demanded cash). He was also incredibly rude the day of the surgery and didn't walk us through everything and while his nurses were trying to explain he rushed them saying "can we get going and get on with this". This man needs to retire. Unfortunately this complaint will do nothing as people have been complaining about this man for years and he does not seem to have improved.

Dr Harf's reply was, "I don't have anything to do with that, you have to talk to your doctor". Now, here we are 7 months later and my dad has to go in for another surgery because Dr Harf neglected to repair all of the knee correctly. He is dismissive, judgmental, rude, and not thorough. He should be seriously assessed for his medical license. Save yourself trouble and get a referral to someone else.

My rehab ended far too early because of the administrative problems that ensued. I should have been in treatments for another 4 months, and I also attribute to not being able to fully recover. Unfortunately, their billing and insurance practices are in my opinion, fraudulent. I started care with POST with the agreement that my care would be out-of-network, but what I discovered was that they were in-network. You can't submit a claim for an out-of-network doctor, when they are in fact, in-network. As an in-network doctor, they are bound to specific rates and terms. POST Violated all of this. They submitted my claim as an in-network patient and billed me for the difference and benefited by doing so. The office manager is disorganized, not at all competent, and in many ways, I felt to be completely dishonest. Reading past reviews led me to believe that my case was not a one-time event, and that they have been operating this way for many many years. A year of filing grievances with both Anthem and Department of Health Services, who ruled in my favor, but yet I will not see a dime of reimbursement.

My son's first visit to a chiropractor was with Tino and I'm so happy it was. He's professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and talked directly to my son making sure he felt a part of the entire process and invested in his own health. We originally went in because my son had experienced a few rough tackles in his last game. He started with an exam from head to toe. Discussed different issues my son was experiencing and addressed them one by one. After, he did a full body adjustment. My son left feeling so much better. His ankle isn't sore and feels loose and more mobile. His throwing arm is no longer stiff. And overall he feels like a weight has been lifted off his body (his words, not mine). Moving forward Tino's services will be a part of my son's big picture health as an athlete. Making sure little issues don't become bigger ones. I highly recommend Tino at Magnolia Chiropractic. Also, side note, the office is so clean and lovely. It's easy to get to and tons of parking!

After several years of deep tissue massages, I realized I needed more help. To give you more of an idea of what I was dealing with, I felt like my back had been solid for majority of my life. Picture a dancing stiff robot. I felt like my lower back had been locked up. When I bent down, my back did not bend, I was as stiff as a board. Before considering a chiropractor, I was concerned I was going to have to seek medical attention and possibly surgery. I was very wrong. I was always terrified of a chiropractor or chiropractics. I realize now it's because I didn't understand the medical benefits and process. Dr. Tino Abon took the time to really help me understand what was going on and how I could prevent certain issues. He was very patient and very kind, even when I felt I was asking pretty naive questions. Dr. Tino's technique really helped to not only loosen my back but to help me get my flexibility and strength back. I appreciate his guidance and the treatments that I have received so far and will continue being a patient of his for a very long time. It's funny to think about it now, but I joked about feeling ten years younger on the intake forms during my first appointment. With being alleviated of all of the pain and stiffness, I definitely feel ten years younger ha ha ha Thank you Dr. Tino and to the staff at Magnolia Chiropractic office. I am so glad I found your office!

After years of X-rays, MRIs, dozens of physical therapy/conditioning attempts and hundreds of spams I learned that running did the trick for my back, but eventually that led to an ankle sprain, knee issues and hip pain on my right side, along with back shifting from my younger days. After more X-rays, MRIs, barium injections, spinal surgery consultations, new shoes, new mattresses, depressing prognostications from a quack chiropractor, and Kaiser PTs with vacant stares giving me the same old exercises without much thought - I was nearly ready to accept defeat. Now at my 49th birthday it was time to do something about this. My wife helped me research some new services that had great recommendations, in exchange for me committing to not give up. She found several people including Josh at BaseCamp. We interviewed them all and Josh proved to be the most thoughtful about what I had been going through and what I needed. Josh's approach is terrific - he listens to my pain story and attempts at managing it, which guides his approach. He recognized that there are multiple ways to approach solving the pain and actually tests whether the exercises he is recommending will work. If they don't work, he quickly moves on - no wasted time. He takes a baseline, does the experiment, tests for good results - on the spot and at the follow-up meetings. Pragmatic & effective. The exercises are already giving me a lot more flexibility after a few weeks and most importantly, they are demonstrated to be working from the beginning - this keeps me highly motivated, as I know I am doing something helpful and not just given to me from some generic list of exercises. He has a great community of practitioners in his network and hooked me up with a physical trainer who is excellent as well. If you have pain - work related, sports, etc - I would highly recommend calling Josh/BaseCamp to discuss your needs.

Why didn't I come to Petaluma Community Acupuncture sooner?!…read more I came here for plantar fasciitis (aka the worst) after trying everything my doctor recommended with minimal improvement. A friend suggested this place, and I'm so glad I listened. Total game changer. I started seeing Elizabeth and Steven, who set me up on a twice-a-week plan for a few weeks, then once a week after that, and it actually worked. My pain dropped dramatically, and I began looking forward to each session. If you've never been to a community-style acupuncture clinic, it might feel a little different at first: a big, peaceful room filled with recliners (each with its own colorful sheet) and everyone in full relaxation mode. You get comfy, they pop in the needles, and suddenly you're in the most blissful nap of your life. Elizabeth (the owner) and Steven are both amazing - super knowledgeable, collaborative, and they actually read your chart and adjust your treatment each time based on how you're feeling. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. I hear Mackenzie is awesome, too. My daughter saw her and loved her experience! Payment is on a sliding scale after your first visit, which makes it easy to keep up with treatment. And don't miss the adorable little shop out front. I may have gone overboard on crystals, but hey, good energy never hurts! But the lady was very nice and greeted me. She told me the pricing since they didn't really have a price sheet.
