Absolute incompetence from start to finish. I should have looked at the reviews first…read more After waiting weeks for an appointment for my child, this office called to say they couldn't even find the authorization form that had been faxed the day before. That alone shows a shocking level of disorganization. Then, as if that wasn't enough, I received another call from a physical therapist saying they had "reviewed the chart" and decided my daughter wasn't a good fit and should see a pediatric specialist instead. So why was the appointment scheduled in the first place? Why was our time wasted for weeks only for them to figure out something so basic at the last minute? This isn't just a minor oversight--it's a complete failure in communication, intake procedures, and basic professionalism. It shows a lack of training, lack of accountability, and a total disregard for patients and their families. If you value your time, your sanity, or your child's care, do not bother with this office. Go somewhere that knows what they're doing.

They then proceeded to tell me that they were several months booked out and that I could be put on a waiting list, the waiting list was a year long. The woman at the phone was horribly rude, bad attitude, no phone etiquette, and had zero compassion. She did not offer any solution and when I ask her what should I do, was there a different place to go, she became extremely agitated and told me she had other people to call and hung up on me. In all honesty I think I dodged a bullet with this place. Don't go here.

My rehab ended far too early because of the administrative problems that ensued. I should have been in treatments for another 4 months, and I also attribute to not being able to fully recover. Unfortunately, their billing and insurance practices are in my opinion, fraudulent. I started care with POST with the agreement that my care would be out-of-network, but what I discovered was that they were in-network. You can't submit a claim for an out-of-network doctor, when they are in fact, in-network. As an in-network doctor, they are bound to specific rates and terms. POST Violated all of this. They submitted my claim as an in-network patient and billed me for the difference and benefited by doing so. The office manager is disorganized, not at all competent, and in many ways, I felt to be completely dishonest. Reading past reviews led me to believe that my case was not a one-time event, and that they have been operating this way for many many years. A year of filing grievances with both Anthem and Department of Health Services, who ruled in my favor, but yet I will not see a dime of reimbursement.

After seeing Eddie twice about chronic back pain due to spinal stenosis, I was a little disappointed that I wasn't given any exercises to do to alleviate my pain. Since my last visit however, I have suffered a major setback where I ended up in the ER and now much of what Eddie said to me about advocating on my own behalf with my HMO is finally making sense. After receiving contradictory advice from the PT and the doctor about my prognosis, I am returning to Eddie for advice and guidance once again. Having spent several years as a PT at my HMO, he understands their system. He also knows a lot about what tests are necessary to make a proper diagnosis and how to position your request for these tests so your doctor can authorize them. Little did I know on our last visit, how prophetic his advice about the importance of self advocacy would be. For those of you with more treatable injuries, I am sure Eddie can help you, as he has my neighbor. If, like me, you have a chronic, congenital condition, and you don't feel like you are making progress, you may want to consider seeing Eddie for health advocacy coaching and support.

Some were scared and were too easy on the pressure. Some were great but couldn't find my spots I needed gone over. With Jo Anne I fell completely In love with her massage methods. I always felt like a new person leaving. Like I got a reset button pushed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Unlike the corporate or chain…read morespa experience, it felt like visiting a friend you've known for a long time for a session of healing. Her rates are about 30-40% less than the spas I was checking out online in Calistoga and Petaluma. She works out of her home, which is lovely and has a lot of sunny, calming colors. You'll see the mailbox numbers to know you've arrived, then park in her driveway up the hill. Jo Ann was there to greet me, ask about problem areas in her kitchen, then take me to her massage room which has some chrystals and a comfortable, luxurious heated table and blankets. The massage was really relaxing and easy to stay in the moment, and one of the most interesting I've had. I lived in Thailand and have had a lot of Thai massages, and Jo Ann did incorporate some of the stretching/tractioning movements and accupressure common in Thai massage throughout the session. She is formally trained in PUSH, and has really strong hands so can also accomodate deep tissue. The medium pressure I requested was harder-handed and used different technique than Swedish, but she assured she could accomodate that too. One of the best parts of our session was her use of hot stones on almost every body part. You can practically feel your muscles opening up and unknotting. I also enjoyed the strategically placed warm washcloths - a head wrap at the end made me feel like I was floating in a cocoon. Jo Ann can also accomodate cupping, though I didn't try it. She did a full 90 minutes, which I appreciated since sometimes 90 minutes means 10 mins to chat about problem areas and 10 mins to get dressed at the end. She had a glass of water waiting, and we sat down in her living room and chatted for 15 mins about life and purpose as a hummingbird flitted up to the window for a drink. I'm telling you, this woman is magical and she's cultivated an environment to match her personality and aura. Go see Jo Ann!
