I stayed there one night on october 18th 2015. While there were no problems, I dont remember specific details as I write the review now. The one staff and few guests we saw were pleasant. The room was clean, very basic. They seem to follow the rule if it's not broke, dont replace it and if it's repairable, repair it... fine by me. My most important thing is the room is clean and anything I need works. There was luggage stands, but dont remember if there was and iron or board for one. Our beds were comfy, linens not super new, but clean and decent condition. Wallmount lamp plastic exterior seemed to have been weirdly deformed... by heat...? but functioned fine. There is a fridge (worked fine) and microwave (didn't use micro). Bathroom was immaculately clean, which I appreciate. Used to be a janitorial manager.
Shower water pressure and temp were good. Bathroom fan was really loud and was on same switch as the light, loud enough it's annoying to talk over. Since bathroom-ing in the dark isn't a real big deal to me, I just did my business in the dark. Dont think toiletries were provided?... they may have some for the asking, same for an iron/hair dryer if needed.
The parking lot goes right up near the room entries, so you can park right outside your door.
There was a pair of crank-out casement windows in the living area, which overlooked some nice landscaping. There was a table and I think 2 chairs, also a built-in desk (and chair) which the microwave was on. The Motel is not near enough a busy road to hear roadnoise, but close enough for quick access. There's a tasty and friendly Japanese restaurant next door. Tiny bathroom had standup tiled shower stall, not tub.
All in all, not the hilton, but appropriate for the money. I'd take a clean room with service that cares over a room with fancy new furnishings but not cleaned properly, any day. We were happy with our stay. read more
