I didn't feel rushed like I do when I go to my GP and I felt like I could ask any questions without feeling like I was bothering him. I love how acupuncture and cupping is helping me heal my body from years of stress and anxiety. Detoxifying it from all the pain medication I was prescribed and were just a bandaid but never treated the roots of my issue. I feel better after each treatment, the road is still long to completely recover but I'm confident I will be there by going regularly to my appointments. Lately all the personal is friendly and appointments are easy to schedule at times and days that are convenient for you which I appreciate a lot since it has been such a hassle to schedule any appointments with my GP. There was zero blood or pain, and only one spot on the ear felt very strange. I have heard that acupuncture is deeply relaxing, and I wrongly imagined feeling groggy afterward. I felt amazingly CALM afterward. My mood was calm, light, and energetic without being excited. My mosquito bites, sinus inflammation, appetite and lower back pain were all calmed. A little background on me: I am a former massage therapist and practiced Thai massage for about 5 years. I've been seeing Danielle for massage for a few years now. Each of the massage therapists is certified to perform safe prenatal massages. They have an easy online booking system (which I appreciated). I showed up and everyone was masked (March 2022) which I was thankful for, being pregnant. They offered me a glass of water while I completed the waivers and were very friendly! (I was the first appointment of the day.) I went into the room and the therapist thoroughly explained how the whole massage would go and made sure she knew exactly what I wanted her to focus on. The table was extremely comfortable for a pregnant person :) special pillow/mat with holes to accommodate your growing body and the ability to lay on my stomach (which I've missed!) and there was no pressure anywhere on my body. Just laying on the table was worth the whole massage! Lol halfway through I rolled over and she replaced the belly mat with a large wedge, so I didn't have to lay flat. I got a 1 hr prenatal massage. It was very relaxing as massages should be. The owner made me feel very comfortable and made sure I had plenty of pillows, right temp, etc to accommodate my pregnant belly. When the massage was over I seriously felt like she knocked off 3 months of pregnancy aches and pains in that one hour. (I am 8 months pregnant for reference so basically everything was hurting before I walked in). I wish I would have known about this place sooner because I probably would have been getting a prenatal massage on e a month. By the way the prenatal is not on the website however I got the therapeutic massage and she altered the massage to be a prenatal one by the techniques she used and the pillows, etc. Highly recommend this place. Can't wait to try it out when I'm no longer pregnant.
