It's a spot that might get overlooked. We love Indian cuisine and like to seek out spots for our next "go to" We had a great experience here. They don't serve alcohol but you can bring your own. Starting with the appetizers. We had veggie samosas, chicken samosas. Kebab. Onion bhaji. I had the Lamb vindaloo. My forever date had her chicken tikka masala. Our other guests had several different dishes I will try and label. As much as I like Indian I should know by now. The naan bread is amazing too. Don't let the outside fool you. The food is worth the visit.

The first time I have ever left an Indian restaurant not full and no take out boxes. Clean and open inside. Menu stated in the bottom that 18% would be automatically added to the check which I thought first was aggressive for a party of two and considering the prices for the meals. The portions of meat for the prices charged did not match up. I'm coining a new phrase "cloth napkin prices with paper napkin meal" it did not help there were huge butcher block paper covering the tables and paper napkins. The saag was flavorful but was a bit greasy and did not appear to have as much spinach as I've had it before. Perhaps they make it different. Desert was especially sad, the ice cream was more like pistachio ice and was solid....pretty much inedible. The servers were very pleasant but doubtful we will return.

The food is outstanding. The service was excellent. Very friendly staff. The ambiance is relaxed and welcoming. I will be returning.

    Garlic naan and lentil soup

Service was great!! I enjoyed my lentil soup. They make their samosas with wonton wrappers which I wasn't a huge fan of but flavorful. Also the dessert which resembled a soak donut was tasty. Mango lassi delicious!!

This was one of the only restaurants open during the historic snow storm. We were so happy to find something open after driving aimlessly for an hour. I'm pretty sure there was only one waiter serving everyone in the restaurant, so while the service was slow, there were so many contributing factors that I know were beyond their control. The food was absolutely delicious. I mean, incredible. We will definitely be back!

Cheese & Garlic Naan (Indian Breads)

Super delicious, we ordered garlic cheese naan, chicken saag(spinach curry), chef's lamb special. Allllll foods were wonderful and meat is so tender. Cumin rice You can choose spicy level too.

Food was delicious. We got three orders of naan and they were very fluffy and flavorful! Will return!

Food was hot and the naan was delicious. However, all of our food tasted bland and flavorless. The lamb vindaloo was sweet and not spicy at all. The chicken in all the dishes was very dry and gritty. The chicken tikka masala was heading in the right direction but, everything needed a lot of salt. The biryani tasted like white rice with a dash of aromatics. Also, the mango lassi tasted like a premix. All in all, if you're looking for authentic Indian takeout, I would look elsewhere.

A year ago I came here in desperation for some Indian food and was left disappointed ( something as simple as tikka masala was flavorless. After much thought after thinking about giving another attempt I will never return again. I ordered chicken biryani and it was pale /chicken boiled with no season I couldn't believe my eyes.

I love Indian food. Took a 30 minute detour here for the lunch buffet they advertise on the website. They don't have a lunch buffet nor a special lunch menu. I am not paying $20 for lunch, and having no variety. I gave one star because you do not lie to customers. If you are not honest, nothing else matters.

We ordered dahi puri (too sweet), masala dosa, poori masala, vada sambar, onion dosa, and paneer biryani. The peanut chutney and sambar that came with the dosas and vada were not good, and there was no coconut chutney at all--which is typically a standard accompaniment for South Indian dishes. The aloo masala in the poori combo was completely off. Instead of the usual yellow potato masala with small chunks, it was a brown, overly spiced curry. The masala inside the masala dosa was also very different from what you would expect at a South Indian restaurant. Service was equally disappointing. The vada, which was supposed to be a starter, was brought out at the very end of the meal. On top of that, each person's dish came out one at a time instead of together. This was especially frustrating considering the restaurant only had us and one other group dining--it wasn't busy. The paneer biryani was just okay, and the onion dosa was not good. Overall, the restaurant has a lot to improve, both in terms of service and in getting basic South Indian dishes right.

There are several selections of Dosas with different types of filling. They do offer other Indian food cuisine. We also ordered Chicken Biryani. That was also delicious. But ordering Dosa was enough for one person. Be warned though, their food had some heat to it. So, if u don't like to too spicy, you may want to let your server know. They provide a no frills but pleasant service, but the food speaks for themselves. The dining and restroom is clean. This is the first Indian restaurant that specialize in something and that something is their Dosa.

Alright--"Taste of India"... where do I even start?…read more If you already love Indian food, you won't be disappointed. And if you've never tried it before, this is absolutely a place to start. One big misconception is that everything is super spicy--that's not the case at all. The flavors are rich and layered, and if you do want heat, they're more than happy to turn it up for you. When you go, take a minute to ask what's on special and have them explain some of the dishes. It makes a huge difference. Not everything is the same, and trying different options is part of the experience--you'll enjoy your meal a lot more if you lean into that. I've been both during the day and at night. If you go during the day, hit the buffet--it's the best way to sample a wide variety of dishes and figure out what you like. At night, ask your server for recommendations--they'll steer you in the right direction based on your taste. Some of my personal favorites? The Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Chops, and honestly anything with goat. If you want a standout, try the Amritsari Mutton Rara--it's a big favorite of mine. There's a lot more on the menu than I can list here, so check out their website and take your time looking it over before you go. And when you stop in, tell them the old biker dude--"1/2 Time" or "Phatt Panda"--sent you. It won't get me anything, but they'll know I meant it when I said I'd come back and leave an honest review.

Whenever I travel, I enjoy exploring local Indian restaurants, so we decided to visit Holi Indian Restaurant. On our first night, we enjoyed Chili Garlic Naan, Shyam Savera, Pindy Chana, and Rabri Gulab Jamun for dessert. The flavors were enjoyable, and we appreciated the effort put into the dishes. Our server, Roshan, was attentive, present, and a very good listener throughout the meal. At the end of dinner, he asked for honest feedback about the food and restaurant, which I respected. I shared that constructive feedback is valuable because it helps businesses grow. I told him that if the feedback was taken positively and improvements continued, we would gladly come back again -- and we did. The following night, we returned with a larger group. The staff remained attentive, and the overall experience was good. I enjoyed the Hakka noodles, while others in our group were happy with dishes like lamb chops and chicken sizzlers. Since I don't eat meat myself, I can only speak for my own meal, but everyone seemed satisfied and enjoyed the evening. One small suggestion I would offer is enhancing the chai with flavors like cloves, green cardamom, or fennel to give it an even richer and more authentic touch. Small refinements like that can create a memorable experience for guests. Overall, we appreciated the hospitality, the willingness to listen, and the effort from the team. Wishing the restaurant continued success and growth. If we are back in the area in the future, we would likely visit again. Good luck, guys
