I don't really know why we waited the unexplained additional twenty minutes, or what they were doing during that time, but it certainly wasn't cooking this meal. When we called, we explained the issue and requested this to be refunded. We also explained that we were regulars and didn't want a fuss or any reason to be put off eating there. The "manager" on he phone was unhelpful and rude. Their solution was for us to give them the food back and get another order. We again requested the refund, as we didn't want to wait another unreasonable amount of time for a sub-par meal. The next solution was for us to give them the food back and maybe they would give us a discount or some cash back. The whole conversation went on and on and on.... In the end - we have no meal, and no refund. This was probably the worst example of customer service I have seen in Auckland - such a shame. Had all of this been when the restaurant was busy, we would understand more - the place was literally empty (rightly so if this is their standards these days). It is so disappointing to have to write a review like this, as this has been our local for a number of years. We will never give these people our money again, and I would strongly advise others to avoid being treated in the same way.
