The biggest disappointment was the ramen. Before ordering, I specifically asked whether it came with a soft, gooey egg and was told yes, so I ordered an extra. Instead, both eggs arrived completely hard-boiled and unseasoned. The steak was overcooked, and the broth had an overwhelmingly strong balsamic-like flavor rather than the rich, savory flavor I expected based on the menu description. We also browsed the marketplace, which was very sparsely stocked during our visit, and the items that were available seemed considerably overpriced. I can only speak to what it looked like on the day we were there. I do want to give credit where it's due: everyone who took care of us was friendly and welcoming, and we visited during happy hour, which made some of the pricing a little easier to swallow. Unfortunately, even at happy-hour prices, the quality of the food simply wasn't there for us. The latte was a 7/10. Now, the baguette. They had two different ones, one that Americans are more familiar with and one that is a classic French one. The classic French one was more crispy but softer interior. I had ordered it to go and it was a long baguette that only cost $3. I literally ate the whole thing before my day was over.
