On Safari açaí bowl and a latte
    Mark P.

They açaí bowls are amazing. Very flavorful and the fruit is so scrumptious. They always take pride and presentation in the lattes.

Talk about amazing food! The Service was great and very personable. The workers made sure to remember me and my friends names. The ambiance was very beach casual and it was just nice to be able to sit and dine. Me and my friends enjoyed everything we had ordered. It was delicious! I ordered the croissaint chicken sandwich (The Boom) and the quantity of it was definitely worth the price. I would just say i wish it was a bit more creamier just because with the bread and chicken after a while it felt a bit dry. I would also eliminate the napikin underneath because when trying to scoop up the chicken that would fall off the croissant, the napkin kept getting in the way. Overall it was still amazing and delicious and I would still order it again.

Split bowl - Sandy beach add peanut butter
    Gianna W.

Our experience was great at Cafe Surfinista. I ordered the Sandy Beach bowl and added peanut butter. It was so good! We got split bowls, just splitting the regular sized bowl in half. I would say that is definitely the way to go - the split bowl amount was plenty. There was a slight wait, but it wasn't bad at all. Workers were very nice too, and the cafe itself had a very cute vibe. They have yummy juices and nutrition shots, too!

Ordered a banana bread and cappuccino, and both were good. The inside is nicely decorated and service was friendly but a bit slow. Overall a good spot close to the beach

THIS. PLACE. IS. AMAZING. The drinks, the food, the atmosphere, the employees, shoot dang even the customers were awesome. I will come here again and again and again. I will brag about this place to everyone in the area. I have zero complaints on anything with my first experience. I even bought merch I love it so much. I FaceTimed my sister to brag about how good it was before licking my bowl clean.

Acai bowl ... I think it was called the sandy beach or something like that. I added peanut butter and it was delicious!

Super cute and easy breakfast spot. You walk up to the counter to order and they bring it to your table. My acai bowl was amazing! My girls got smoothies and bagels and according to the 8-year old her plain toasted bagel was, "so yummy and I wanted more" :) We will be back!

    Beet hummus salad

I like the food here but the service is so incredibly slow that it's hard to come back. The Malibu salad is good but not great with strawberries, goat cheese (very little), spinach, quinoa and balsamic dressing. My friend always gets the beet hummus salad (can't remember the actual name) and it looks really good, also with balsamic. You have to pay to park there and this time they forgot the dressing for the salad. The açaí bowls are good but way too big, I wish they offered a smaller option and wish there were more toppings to smoothie ratio.

Perfect stop after a beach day! These açaí bowls are hands down one of my favorite I've ever had. The lady working was very kind and helpful picking out which bowl to choose. The fruit is super fresh, the granola is super crunchy, and the base is delicious. Best part about these bowls is the size and the granola they layer in the bottom. The inside is very pleasing to enjoy as well.

Great view from the coffee shop

We had a business trip to visit some clients and were flying back to Washington DC from Orlando. After googling coffee shops near the beach Surfinista popped up and we drove over. What an awesome place. We had some great coffee and some food and relaxed in the cafe by the beach. I also got the family some souvenirs. I liked the Descendants themed T shirts. The staff was so friendly and it was a great stop before traveling north. See you again!

    Chicken salad bento box
    Suzanne H.

Nice place right next to the beach. They have food in a cooler to go so I grabbed a chicken salad bento box and a poke bowl with an iced coffee and a Celsius drink. Easy in and out. Now on the beach enjoying lunch. $22 Not bad. Would go again when at this beach and try their full menu.

All around an amazing atmosphere and delicious food! This bagel sandwich consist of vegan egg, vegan cheese, tomato, lettuce, and coconut bacon! Every time I come here this is my go to, definitely recommend trying the smoothies as well.

This was one of my favorite places to go when I lived in Melbourne Beach, and every time I visit family here I have to go back. Açaí bowls are the best, love that they make their own cold pressed juices, and the protein balls are a go-to!

Shannon was our waitress and she was incredibly sweet, charismatic, and attentive. She made us feel right at home and added such a positive energy to the whole experience. I ordered the "Kahili" Rainbow Bowl and my husband had the biscuit sliders with delicious tiki bacon!!! Both dishes were flavorful and absolutely delicious. The ingredients tasted fresh and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. You could tell care went into the preparation and presentation. We both ordered the Frothy Coffee, which ended up being one of our favorite parts of the meal. It was such a unique and fun touch and made the whole breakfast feel a little more special. It was delicious and different from your typical coffee drink. Everything from the food to the service made this a memorable stop during our trip. We enjoyed it so much that we're already hoping to come back again before we fly home. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in Melbourne and looking for a delicious breakfast with great service.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Being a gym rat - one who is upgrading from a big power lifter to a svette body building for everyday life (so no shows are anything like that) - I am always on the lookout for a good place for a protein shake. My "Go-To" at times, if I want to be lazy, is either Tropical Smoothie Cafe or even Wawa. However, I get some excellent suggestions from my fellow Yelp Elites, or even my closest friends. With that in mind, my close friend, Paula, told me about a new smoothie/coffee/health bar location she passes by every time she goes to work called Mermazing Nutrition. Since I take creedence to her suggestions and it is a smoothie place, I had to check it out. Paula, thank you for the suggestion because Mermazing Nutrition (which I will shorthand to simply Mermazing for the remainder of this review) is overall, in general, an amazing business with an amazing owner/operator running it. Though an address is given, I must stress more details on its location as many people might miss it. It is located on Babcock St., on the west side of the street and just north of Tropical Smoothie Cafe in between Fay Blvd. and Hibiscus Blvd. If it further helps, it is next door to Jimmy John's. The locale itself is kinda smallish, but I discern most people come in to get their orders and be on their way moreso than stay. However, it being smallish means it is cozy, and the cozy atmosphere is kinda simplistic with splashes of personality which includes the picture background which has become a popular trend amongst businesses, especially restaurants, as of late. There are a couple of tables and chairs for those who choose to sit in and enjoy what Mermazing has to offer, and there is a long, leather (?) couch people can sit on, too. As for the menu, what I saw were mutliple variations of smoothies and teas. I didn't see any food options, so take note of that as you come here. They have a normal range of protein shakes, iced coffees, and loaded teas. The standouts are their specialty menu which are drinks specified by Mermazing. They also have unique names like "Daisy Dukes," "Yellowstone," "Pretty n' Pink," and "Snakebite." You'll have to ask what each shake has to specifically offer though. The Extreme Rebuild is an amazing post-workout shake that includes almost 40 grams of whey protein, BCAAs, and L-glutamine. Finally, the "Kitchen Sink" literally has all the supplements you can add to any smoothie, in the smoothie. So imagine a smoothie with all the add-on ingredients and vitamins you can add. That is it. Would be cool if they served the drink in-house with a miniature kitchen sink, though. Ultimately, patrons have to understand this is a storefront for a representative of Herbalife. Julann is your local representative for Herbalife, which I will admit is a great product, but there are others out there that may or may not be good or better for you. What I like about Julann is that she doesn't "bully sell" Herbalife, mocking or insulting other options. She does her best to promote Herbalife, concentrating on that compared to belittling the competition. So overall, I am very impressed with Mermazing. True the price might be higher compared to a Wawa, but for a local business, it is actually really good and fair. The lack of food might be seen as an issue, but Mermazing doesn't try to promote or push that it sells such. Besides, anyone wanting food can stop by the Jimmy John's next door or go elsewhere. That is not what Mermazing promotes or offers. I will give Mermazing an overall score of four out of five stars. If I return a couple more times and they are just as good or even better, I will definitely give them their fifth star for consistency.
