I don't crave pizza often but I was craving both Indian food and pizza in the same evening. So I…read morefound this place! And loved it. I got half Butter Chicken and half Palak Chicken on my pizza and it was delicious. Also, something about their crust was so good. It was chewy but it a good way and the crust wasn't overbearing. If I had any feedback though, I wish the flavors were more intense. I really wanted to be hit with the Indian flavors. But I'm assuming the toppings that they use are also what they serve as à la carte which I think the flavors get diluted when added with bread, cheese, and a bunch of other toppings. Also, I wish it was spicier! I got raita (yogurt sauce) on the side. I think all Indian Pizza places should serve raita on the side of their pizzas. I'll be coming back and trying their other pizzas.

First time trying this place since it's only a block from my home. My sister loves Indian pizza;…read moreshe told me there is this one spot in Sunnyvale where she goes and the pizza is amazing. And she absolutely loves the "butter chicken pizza" So, since she was in town we thought of getting a Indian pizza for us to try (butter chicken) since the reviews seemed amazing at this place (8 reviews... hahaha). We opted for a takeout versus eating in. Though the place seemed rather nicely set-up when I arrived for the pickup, I greeted the gentleman as I came in to get the pizza. He seemed not so interested in convo after I paid and I commented on how the place was nicely decorated from previous business I use to patronized. After getting my pizza and met up with my sister at my mom's place for what we thought will be one of the best pizza we will encounter... not even close. The menu, for the butter chicken pizza, comes with green onion and cilantro, which we immediately noticed. Not only that, the taste was rather bland. We called the establishment and told them of what was missing in the pizza. He asked if we were close by... hahaha, I just said, that is okay, we are not close by and would not be ideal for us to travel back just for those 2 ingredients. In my personal opinion and my sister, it's not that good of a pizza. At least that's our opinion. I was hoping different because we love good pizza and was hoping to become a regular customer. It's my first to try an Indian pizza, I was hoping to be amazed by the different culture in pizza making with different ingredients. Not what had expected and will not be patronizing them again, due to several factors.

Our total came out to around $230 including tax and tip, which felt reasonable for the amount of food we ordered. The restaurant was pretty busy during dinner, but we were seated after about a 20 minute wait, which wasn't bad at all. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the Goat Cheese Naan, Roti Calamari, Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Game Hen, Kale Fritters, and Gosht Biryani. My favorite dish was actually the Kale Fritters, which surprised me since I usually gravitate toward meat dishes. They were perfectly crispy, and the sauce had a great balance of sweet and savory flavors. My least favorite was the Tandoori Game Hen--it had a lot of bones and was a bit difficult to eat. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal and the variety of dishes we tried.

We ordered paneer makhani, lamb chops and dal and everything was delicious. Just the right balance of flavor, tenderness to bite and the slight spicy kick. Since the place was full, it was loud but it didn't feel overwhelming. It was still tolerable to have a decent conversation. I have sensitive hearing, so that's a huge plus for me. Also tried lunch service on and it' was not as busy then. Highly suggest trying their lunch specials as they were generous portions with great value. So so sssoooo yummy! I really hope they maintain their neighborhood cozy vibe no matter how popular they get

The original plan was to grab some lunch items at Whole Foods, but who doesn't want to try a new restaurant?! Walking into the restaurant, it's a little unclear if you order the counter and they bring you food or if you're seated and you order at the table. We quickly figured out that your order at the counter and then grab one of the tables and they will bring you your order. I found the restaurant to be unkept, and most of the tables that did not have customers sitting at them were super dirty. The tables hadn't been cleaned from the previous customer/customers. We had already ordered and it was that quick mental conversation of are we expected to clean the table so that we can dine there or what. Thankfully, a bus boy appeared, and he didn't seem overly eager to want to clean the table that we were standing at but instead wanted to clean one that someone was dining at. It was kind of odd. He took a couple of swipes at the table and it really just removed the food that someone had dropped all over the table. Just not a comforting feeling when you know that you'll be dining in that same spot. Our food came out fairly quickly, and I was super excited to have a good meal. We ordered the lunch special, which included a lentil/garbanzo, bean side, CTM ( chicken, tikka masala), rice, and naan. We ordered one mango lassi to share because we figured it was easier to try it, then order too much. You can always order more, right?! The mango lassi was very underwhelming. It locked through mango flavor, and that hint of tanginess. I just felt like I was drinking warm mango juice. I definitely have had better. With the lunch plate, we upgraded the naan to the cheese naan. I love carbs like anyone else does, but I found this to be basically bread that someone had put curry flavor in with a couple of cubes of cheese. So basically curry powdered bread. Yuck. The CTM, I found the chicken to be very sparse in terms of the portion size, and the chicken was very rubbery. It was overcooked, and I specifically had asked for little to no spice. Apparently that request was ignored. The lentil and garbanzo beans were tasty, but the garbanzo beans were undercooked, incredibly hard, and the flavor profile was really weird. It couldn't decide if it was supposed to be spicy, spicy, and salty, or something in between. The rice was OK. It had far too much fenugreek in it, and again the flavor profile, even combined with the CTM just was a little offputting. The guy behind the counter was fairly friendly, but it wasn't that warm and inviting friendliness. Is this a place I would go back to? No, not at all The one thing that I really enjoyed was the artwork on the walls.

It felt like I was back in Delhi! * Palak paneer (5/5): So many other places get this wrong, either the paneer quantity is lacking or they don't use mustard oil when making it. Thankfully, Jalebi Street knocked this out of the park. Now, just add makki di roti and I'll be back every weekend! * Vada pav (5/5): To be honest, I'm not the biggest vada pav fanatic, but this is probably the best one I've had outside of India. * Onion kachori (3/5): Good, but nothing to write home about. To be honest, it was a little too spicy, even for me. * Mango lassi (4/5): Not too sweet, with just the right amount of tartness. * Masala soda (4/5): Why is this such a rarity at Indian restaurants in the US when every place back home has this on the menu? It was delicious, but way too expensive (almost 8 bucks). We are definitely going to be back, especially since we committed the cardinal sin of not trying the jalebi at Jalebi Street.

Saag paneer was not as flavorful as I would've liked. Did not go for seconds on this, but I did go for seconds (and thirds) on the goat and chicken.
