Social media made me aware of "India Garden" and its daily lunch buffet. I decided to drop by on a Saturday and had a really enjoyable visit. Parking spots were to be found even though there's alot of neighboring businesses in the strip mall where "India Garden" is situated. The front and interior of the restaurant was very inviting. The Indian background music was very relaxing and got me in an exotic mode. Staff were very polite and attentive. I had a few favorites like the Chicken Tikka Masala (not spicy and so flavorsome), the unlimited freshly made Garlic Naan (so garlicky yet so buttery), and Mango Custard sauce(I love Mango Curry so I mixed this into the Tikka Masala) to name but a few. The Samosa's were compact and tasty. The Biryani was flavorsome and not too spicy. Actually, there was a few different rice options. Toilets were also clean and maintained. If in the area, it's a definite repeat visit!

2 1/2 stars at best. I feel I am qualified to give an accurate review given my husband is Indian and very picky about his food & I have tried many Indian places over the years. Food: mediocre at best. Like my husband says "it filled the stomach" but we would never come back to eat here. The rice is regular run of the mill rice. Not Basmati rice. The pakoras were very greasy and looked like refried leftovers. The samosas were definitely not freshly made. Most likely frozen & deep fried. Barely any filling inside. Poor selection of desserts. Minimal vegetarian selection. It seems they are on a strict budget given the quality of the food. I feel like I wasted calories eating here. Service was ok. The restaurant itself is open with ample seating inside with seating outside. There are better choices of Indian food up here in the SCV.

Great new option for Indian food. We did a take out order and since I had questions about some of their menu items, I called them directly to place the order. The staff was courteous and answered all my questions. I called in the order before 6 and it was ready in about 30 min. We ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala, Samosa (2 comes in one order) garlic naan, Dal Fry (lentil) and Gobi Manchurian (cauliflower). We enjoyed the Tikka Masala and Gobi Manchurian the best and would probably order these 2 dishes again. The Dal Fry and Samosas were a little too spicy for our taste. We enjoyed the naan bread also. It's pretty huge so you can probably share with another person. The restaurant had a good number of booths and tables. At around 6 it was half full. Will have to consider staying and eating at the restaurant the next time around.

An underrated gem for Santa Clarita Indian food. Staff were super nice and friendly, making for a warm and inviting atmosphere. Though I didn't have the all you can eat deal, the Saag Paneer was really well-made and arrived in a beautiful dish. The individual dishes were a bit pricey for the portion size, but so worth the taste. I'm definitely coming back for the all you can eat deal. If the rest of the food is nearly as good, that's where this place will shine. Wish more people ate here.

Disappointing Experience at India Garden's Lunch Buffet We were looking forward to trying India Garden's lunch buffet, but unfortunately, our visit fell short of expectations. Arriving around 1:30 PM on a Friday, we found the restaurant full and chaotic. There was no host at the entrance, and we had to seek out a staff member ourselves to be seated. The buffet, despite it being peak lunch hour, was nearly empty with only a few cold dishes remaining. Service was inconsistent throughout. We had to flag down staff multiple times. First to place drink and naan orders, and again for assistance. Initially we were told that garlic naan wasn't available, we were later served it once the restaurant began to clear out, which added to the confusion. The interior décor was pleasant, but the seating felt cramped. During our hour-long visit, we noticed several other guests visibly frustrated, trying to get the attention of the one server. We did order an à la carte Gobi Manchurian, which was excellent (easily the highlight of the meal) along with enjoyable desserts like kheer and gulab jamun. While we understand that the restaurant is relatively new, guests still expect a basic level of service and food quality, especially when dining out for a special occasion. We shared our concerns with a staff member at checkout, but rather than listening, he seemed more focused on asking whether we liked the food that we did receive. We are open to revisiting in the future and hope the management addresses these early operational issues. However, this visit left our party disappointed, especially given we were there to celebrate a special day.

Went today for the Saturday buffet. Excellent service someone greeted us immediately and sat us & explained the menue as 2 of us ate the Dosai off the menue and 2 others the buffet. The buffet was Excellent as many other Indian restaurant buffets have alot of gravy and less meat but Indian Garden flavors were amazing and the dishes were meaty. So happy with our experience and definitely go again with family and friends.

Sorry the food was too delicious so it was inhaled

Delicious food, super friendly service and great ambiance. My husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time and we will go back for sure. We had the fish curry and noodles. Not sure about some people's reviews, the staff were welcoming and friendly. They came to check on us a couple of times. Not sure why people make everything about race.

Very cool place. Can't beat the lunch special buffet. Impeccable service! Probably the best garlic naan I've ever had. Vumsy was very kind and helpful

I want to give it 5 stars. I went for all you can eat brunch and for $16 you get your money's worth. The tables were getting full and it seems so famoly friendly. Everything gets loaded consistently so you're not waiting long for the items to get refilled. Loved all the options, the sauces and there's different chicken and vegetarian options. The Saag chicken, ocra masala, tandoor chicken all were delicious. Plus they bring fresh naan to the table which makes the service top notch. I appreciated the staff and the diners seemed happy.

There's nothing fancy about it, nothing curated for Instagram, and definitely no attempt at "elevated dining." It's simple food, made well, at a very reasonable price. And the food is genuinely good. As someone who has been to India more than eight times and has eaten a lot of street food across the country, this place gets surprisingly close to the real flavor profile. Not the toned-down, suburban version. The actual stuff. Where this place really shines is the chaat. Pav bhaji, pani puri, mysore masala dosa, and excellent samosas. The snacks and street food are the kind of dishes most Indian restaurants barely attempt, but here they're front and center and done right. They also have a rotating daily menu plus à la carte items. The biryanis in particular are excellent and consistently flavorful, with generous portions. I also like spicy food. Real spicy food. My white suburban kids, not so much. But one of them will power through the heat here because the flavors are so good it's worth the suffering. That's usually a good sign. This isn't the place you go for a white tablecloth dinner. It's the place you go when you want authentic Indian flavors without the usual Americanized menu. If you've spent time in India and miss that style of food, this place will feel very familiar.

To our surprise, there was just one other group there even though it should've been peak dining hours. Because of this, we didn't have high expectations for the food, but surprisingly it turned out okay. The space is nice and big with both table and booth seating. It looked like there was a private room for events off to one side as well. Since it's a chaat place, we got some chaat as well as a curry. We shared the following: Pav bhaji ($10.99) Paneer kathi roll ($10.99) Chicken tikka masala ($17.99) Plain roti and naan ($2.99 + $3.49) Out of everything, the pav bhaji was our favorite. The bhaji was drier than usual (usually it's a bit more liquid), but the flavor was good. There was also a strong taste of butter/ghee, more than what I'm used to, so it's definitely a very rich dish here, especially with the extra chunk of butter they serve on top. Too bad they only serve two pav by default, as at least 3, maybe 4, would've been good to go with the amount of bhaji provided. I only took a bite of the kathi roll, but it was a bit too sweet for me personally. However, my friend liked it and said that the paneer tasted very fresh and soft. The chicken tikka masala was pretty standard. Nothing to write home about. We were pleasantly surprised by the flavors here. It's not super close to where we live but we might come back to try some of the other chaat!

In terms of service, gap between the servings was over 10-11 minutes, and at the second serving, desserts were brought out when not asked for. Chutneys: not served unless asked for. Another thing about ownership being form north in a South Indian restaurant are subtle changes where sambhar gets a jeera tadka or aalu pallya gets vegetables like carrots and peas.
