Office staff appeared to be nice but when questioned, they were not open to explaining anything. I…read moreverified with my insurance before my appointment if retinal screening is covered since it was explained when I made the appointment that the doctor requires one. I explained to front staff,, Katie that my insurance said it was covered; she just kept going back and forth with me answering no. If my insurance tells me one thing and you're telling me another, you should have a better explanation. Also opthalmologist, Dr Coker, insisted on my wearing certain contacts. I have been wearing contacts for many years and find it disturbing that she told me she would rather me wear a certain brand. Maybe they get kickbacks for selling certain brands? I felt like I was being nickle and dimed and being told what to do with my money. FYI- All other reviews appear to be for a different doctor, Dr Bodkin. I was not given an option of doctors. This however is the same business, same office pictures, same address and telephone number.

If you have any questions or concerns about eye doctors, this is the one place I highly recommend…read morethe Vision Center. Doctor Bodkin is a very knowledgeable, kind and considerate man. Just extraordinary! We were in and out of his office in no time. Two appointments, back to back and we're out an hour earlier than expected. Never rushed and very thorough. The staff here are just as nice and also very helpful. Everyone should go here. It's a great experience.

I've purchased two pairs of prescription eyeglasses from Warby Parker and have been quite satisfied…read moreso when my husband needed an exam and new glasses, we headed to their new location in Belle Hall Shopping Center. We loved the convenient location with plenty of free parking. My husband made his exam appointment on line. We were warmly greeted and he was quickly seen by the optometrist. He received a thorough exam and said that Dr. Shinner's patient rapport was refreshing. The selection process was easy due to excellent service by Vicki and Charity, two experienced, knowledgeable and friendly associates. There was ample selection for different sizes ... narrow, too. Good value with fair pricing. We left feeling satisfied. Go!

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I came in because there was mold between the metal & plastic…read moreportion of my eye glasses. The "eye doctor" immediately told me it was not mold and due to the "nickel" on the rims of my glasses having a reaction with my skin oils. First of all, I looked up the product information and my glasses are made with stainless steel, not nickel. Second of all, I work in construction and neither nickel or stainless steel has strong discoloration oxidation reactions to "skin oils". I checked this factually with AI as well, because even though I have extensive knowledge of metal materials, I wanted to ensure accuracy. The "eye doctor" immediately got an attitude when I informed him these glasses were not made with nickel and told me he "had been doing this for 36 years" so he knew what he was talking about. Even when I showed him the product data showing they are made with stainless steel. The "eye doctor" took my glasses back to their "sonic cleaner" and dropped the unclean glasses in front of me and walked off. He did not even clean the mold/dirt on the nose pieces. And apparently no one else in the facility is "qualified to clean the nose pieces". So I left with my glasses uncleaned and mold visible on the nose pieces.
