I contacted Modern Electric for a small job, they came straight out, were prompt, extremely personable and did a fantastic job for one very reasonable charge, no trip charge, no extras tagged on. Daniel was so nice, he installed our ceiling chandelier and then removed it, modified the height to suit us changing our minds and reinstalled it again. Poor guy we had him up and down on the ladder. He was very gracious, even checked the chandelier each time with a level. Excellent work, great attitude and so so reasonable! Very happy, thank you so much Modern Electric and Daniel!

We called Completed Electric Plus out to our home to repair two ceiling fans, a chandelier and…read moreinstall a bathroom ventilation fan. The ceiling fans were repaired to working condition but not with the remote function. The electrician stated he would order two dimmer switches for the wall outlets and we could adjust the fans this way. He did not have the dimmer switches and said that he would order them for us and come back to install them. We were advised that the bathroom vent fan that we had purchased would not work in our location and therefore, was not usable. The electrician stated that he would obtain the correct fan for us and come back to install it. It was not an easy one to find. The chandelier was made to work but the electrician stated it was hanging on the electrical wire and had disconnected from the power. We asked if this was dangerous and should it be hung differently and he stated no, it was fine. We paid and he left. We turned on the chandelier and not only did it not work but the bulb blew in the pantry and none of the kitchen lights would turn on. We called the electrician back the next day and he came with another man that acted like he was in charge. They went out to the breaker box and flipped the breaker on and off and the chandelier came on again. The original guy seemed very upset that we hadn't figured this out and had called him back to fix it. Two days later a bulb blew again and the kitchen lights would not work once again. We called another electric company and after seeing what type of breaker we had, switched it for a different type and it has been working great ever since. The Completed Electric Pus electrician never called us to see if everything was ok or to bring the dimmer switches and the ventilation fan that he had promised. We tried to call but could not get an answer. We left a message and it was never returned. We would not recommend Completed Electric Plus.

Greg called us in about an hour from when we hung up with the insurance company and said he was on the way to our location. Greg came in and was willing to listen to what we had done so far and asked questions. He was concerned about keeping the house clean while he was here. After he determine what and where the issue was he quickly fixed the problem. He was very professional and was focused on getting the problem solved ASAP. Turns out that in order to access the broken pipe he had to cut into the wall. He did a great job on cleaning up the mess afterwards. The drywall repair is not part of the insurance package so he left a great rough patch for us to fill and paint. After the work was complete he was willing to share some things about the plumbing system in this house that could be potential problems in the future. This problem was known by us due to other neighbors having similar issues. He was not telling us this to create additional work for himself but as advice for the future. Thanks Greg for getting the water back on and running, the showers felt great and it was nice to be able to flush the toilets. Thanks Greg.

I've owned my home for about a year and have had many tradespeople in and out during that time…read more This is the first experience I've felt compelled to write a negative review about. Greg was assigned to my service request and did arrive on time. However, his overall demeanor was unfriendly and unprofessional, especially for someone in a customer-facing role. Shortly after he arrived, my daughter experienced a sudden medical emergency--a seizure, her first ever. I was in the next room calling 911 while emergency responders arrived. It was an extremely stressful and urgent situation. I have no doubt he could hear me screaming her name and calling emergency services. About 10 paramedics came stomping down my short hallway. It was quite the commotion. Before leaving with my daughter in the ambulance, I briefly let Greg know he could continue the work if needed. His response was: "Make sure your dogs are locked up. I don't want to be bit." My dogs were locked up when he arrived and he knew that. Given the circumstances, this felt incredibly lacking in awareness and basic human empathy. I understand safety concerns, but the timing and delivery of that comment were inappropriate. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience stood out for all the wrong reasons and this guy shouldn't be entering any one's home.
