Cute coffe shop and bakery with excellent service and great prices. We visited while we were on a college tour to Athens. Highly recommend!

This place is a gem ! The breads the breads the breads they bake are wonderful great assortment and crust ! On Friday's they have challahs available as well. The French pastries and cookies are terrific as well. The Chocolate chip cookies are very buttery and sweet. We chose a selection of pastries this weekend. We had the pain suisse, the hazelenut, a raisin danish with yum all over it and a chocolate cake with fresh crème on it. The chocolate cakes looked very dense but it was actually very light and not too rich. Stop in when you can. They bake Monday through Saturday and sell the rest on Sunday.

Pizza Bianca with Basil and Romano

Such a staple small businesses in Athens! Every Saturday they do slices of pizza bianca and my favorite are the slices with Romano and basil. The bread is super fresh and I actually was actually not too heavy and doughy. I only wish the ends weren't as crisp.

Independent Baking Co. was elegant and delicious! The staff was so friendly and patient as I probably mispronounced a lot of their French pastry names :) There wasn't much seating but the inside is so darling and cozy. Great little bakery find for on the go - I will definitely be stopping by again to try out more items!

Amazing coffee, baguettes, and croissants. The staff is always friendly too. My personal favorite is the olive loaf. It's amazing!

Thee cutest bakery + coffee shop. There isn't too much seating, but I'm all for the grab and go. It's a must try.

Not much room to eat in and they bake their bread for too long in my opinion. Chocolate chip cookies are hit or miss as well.

Stopped into Molly's Coffee Co this morning for some caffeinated goodies. This joint comes highly…read morerecommend by my father in law. There might be a little bias options here since this joint is owned by his really good friend's granddaughter. But the fact it's local, I'm going to support it. Walking up, the espresso machine and register was set up outside. There's some remodeling going on so I didn't get the opportunity to see what the venue looks like inside. But outside is quite cute. I love the flowers surrounding the outside patio. A handful of sweet baristas were working. They all greeted us! I checked out the summer menu to see what kind of cool drinks they had. I got a vanilla oat milk matcha latte. My husband got a summer drink of the menu. It was a sparkling strawberry lemonade. My husband's lemonade was so good! I appreciate that real strawberry puree was used. It was sweet, tangy and bubbly! It was quite refreshing for a sweet drink. My matcha was balanced! There was a good amount of matcha to oat milk. I didn't quite taste the vanilla as much as I would have liked to. I did add some sugar to it when we stopped at the Waffle House. It tasted much better once the sugar was added. I'm already going to plan on coming back when we visit Athens again next year. I look forward to seeing the new remodel. And I look forward to potentially meeting the famous Molly that my father in law speaks ok. I enjoyed my matcha and it's great that I got to support a local joint while I was here.

Now, it's still growing with love by two brothers born and raised in Bulldog Nation, honoring their parents. Five Points location opened in 2014. I've been here few times and I can tell you with 100% certainty that their quality is always better with each visit. The friendly and helpful staff are top notch. They are always knowledgeable and ready to assist you in rich and chocolaty varieties. ROASTERY: The space is small and cozy. When you enter, you're welcomed by sweet aroma. You can come in, enjoy the atmosphere, sip on your specialty drink and watch the process of chocolate making. And of course, while you watch confections masterpiece, why don't you indulge on their rich and delicious chocolates. CONFECTIONS: 48%-72% You've never had such rich, smooth and delicious treats in your life before! It may be a bold statement to make, but I encourage you to visit them and try it for yourself. You can indulge in milk or dark chocolate. "Georgia Bars," "Condor Chocolate Bars," "Bulldog Bark," and many of their individual specialty toffees. I picked up their, "Georgia Bar" and "Condor Dark + Smoked Sea Salt Bar," to enjoy at home. GIFT IDEAS: If you're one who loves specialty chocolate and loves to give, Condor has you covered. They offer, "Spectacular Gift Set," "Deluxe Gift Set," "Bulldog Gift Set," and "Classic Gift Set." They ship nationwide. Besides many confections offered here, you can also try their great variety of coffee drinks. Many of their products ingredients are sourced from Ecuador. CHOCO COFFEE: Their blend of "Choco Coffee," isn't named after chocolate coffee. Instead, it's named after Ecuadorian, Choco Toucan bird. I bought, "Comunidad Blend," to brew at home. I've already brewed couple of cups and OMG!!! It offers notes of Dark Chocolate, Pecans, Pink Grapefruit and Guava. As I've been sipping on it, its whole beans are washed, well balanced, offer rich and bold flavors. You can taste the home roots. PARKING: It can be tricky to get in here. It's located off busy, S. Lumpkin Street. Parking is very limited as it shares it with five other businesses. There is additional parking nearby. RECOMMEND: Overall, this place is very unique. It offers something for everyone. They cater to kids and kids at heart... with a sweet tooth. Stop by or visit them online and see what all they have to offer. I highly recommend them and looking forward to continuing being their customer.

Walking up to the place, I love the bright red tables outside. It adds such a fun vibrancy to the place. The windows are also decorated with beautiful strands of color. It creates such a fun vibe. I noticed the beautifully crafted truffles displayed in the glass case. They all looked so good! I asked the sweet gal for a variety of 8 pieces. I also got a salted caramel brownie as well. My truffles got boxed up with a cute white bow. My brownie was getting warmed up while the gal was helping another guest. I checked out the other items for sale while I was waiting for my brownie. I love all the Georgia Bulldog themed chocolates. There was also a different variety of chocolate bars available. I noticed they also sold espresso and coffee drinks at the shop. I wish I would have known about the coffee! I would have rather grabbed coffee from this joint and not from Starbucks. It will be something I'll have to try next time. My brownie was so good! The love the flakes of salt on the brownie. The sweet and salty combo is always a winner. It was heated up just right! There were caramel ribbons were in every bite. It's very decadent! Make sure you have a big glass of cold milk. You'll need it for this brownie! This was a neat little chocolate joint I got to check out. They have some really good sweets that you must try! The hazelnut truffle is a must have. I can't wait to share my truffles with my friends and family. I'll be sharing a piece of Athens with them.
