If I could leave 0 stars I would. A couple customers including us complained about the washers not washing properly. Manager Kadian wasn't onsite so the attendant called her to see what she can do to assist us and instead of putting us in different washers or reimbursing us the money spent she instructed the attendant to not call her again and just text her. She told the attendant to get our phone numbers for when she's not busy. This was poorly handled and will be my first and last time here. read more

After going to another Laundromat and getting grossed out, I went to Independence Laundromat. It was so clean and bright. The machines (washers and dryers), table tops and carts were so clean. They sell several brands of small containers of laundry detergent. As I was washing and drying my clothes the lady in charge was walking around sweeping the floor and wiping down .machines. Terrible customer service. I've been here a few times and it's been okay but today I realized I won't be coming back. The sign on the door says last wash 9:00pm, closing at 10pm I arrived at the lot and by the time I gathered my things (1 small basket of laundry , my own quarters and my soap) and walked to the front it was 9:02pm. The lady looked at me and yelled no no no ! I looked at her in shock and didn't say a word I just walked back out, there was 2 other people in there so I decided to write this review and it's currently 9:24pm the other 2 people have finished and the lady is walking out, I understand if she wants to go home but they are falsely advertising the hours and now I'm stuck trying to find somewhere else to wash clothes read more

I use to love the place. I have been going here for 10 years. Unfortunately now we have new owers. Recently I've notice that the machines are not filling up with water. So I checked the water compartment. The machines are fixed to wash with less water. Although they have some machine that clear say they use less water. If im paying $5.75 for a wash, I want the same water amount that the other owner gave us! Some machines arent working ( the large ones) and the coin machine gives you change. Today I put in a $10. I just finished up here and I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your laundry needs. The prices weren't the greatest but whatever. The problem came when my clothing was drying I noticed a smell and come to find out the drier was overheating and burning my clothes. I pulled them out, calmly walked up to the front desk lady who though she didn't speak English was very kind about the situation. She called her boss who said that since nobody was in I would have to wait until Monday for any sort of action to be taken. Fine, fair enough. I get it. It's the weekend. The problem was when I was called up front by another employee. She, without asking what had happened told me that it was my fault and acted insulted that I would even entertain the idea that their equipment could be overheating. She stated in no uncertain terms that it was my fault and when her boss gets in the following morning they would make sure to check the security cameras to prove that I didn't know what I was talking about. She was incredibly dismissive, without even allowing me to say a word in my defense and I had to ask multiple times to be allowed to at least leave my number for a potential call Monday morning. I wasn't really expecting anything to be done other than an "out of order" sign to be placed but to instantly get vilified by the employee there and scolded like a Child was unacceptable in my eyes. read more
