I'm stuck in a rental building where the landlords don't care that the 1 washer & dryer for 6 units is not working. So this laundromat is closest to me. I'm on a motorcycle so lugging laundry isn't easy. Listen up owner of Rainbow Laundry! Your whole business is geared towards washing machines and dryers that function so that people like me can get their clothes clean. Second to that responsibility of yours, timing. You're wasting my time which is valuable because I only have a limited amount of it to do the laundry that I need to go to work and be presentable in a way that I can keep my employment. But instead, you have washers and dryers that don't function properly, waste time, and have attendants who don't know how the washers function. Granted they're very nice. But that doesn't solve my laundry problems. The first problem was one of the regular washers and trying to get the coins in, which got stuck and wouldn't start the washer. The attendant didn't know how to do it. Next, I had to switch everything to another washer on the other side. He did replace the OxiClean that I had bought, then I started the washer, set a timer, then sat outside for the next 24 minutes. When I returned to take my freshly cleaned work shirts out to put in the dryer, the washer was flashing and had never worked. The attendant was standing in front of it cleaning and blocking my way. It took him several times for me to explain that I had already put money in and waited 24 minutes only to find that it hadn't worked! So finally he moved it to another one, replaced my OxiClean for the second time today, moved it to another washer and started it. Now I'm sitting here 40 minutes of my time wasted! Not to mention the first 15 to 20 with the first washer load that ended up not working. Here's my point to you and I need for you to listen... You have responsibilities to make sure that all of those washers and dryers are functioning properly. ITS YOUR BUSINESS! While Im at it, why do you make it so difficult and complicated to get quarters?! If you have a $20 bill you're out of luck. You have to go somewhere else and buy something so that you can get change from a 20 to put into the changemaker to get quarters. Come on. The year is 2026. You could have this entire joint running on Apple Pay alone. People don't need coins anymore. There are all kinds of set ups that you could set up which would ensure that you had a better functioning facility. Will I come again? I have to. This is my only choice in the neighborhood. If not, I have to drive for miles. On a motorcycle. You need to stop being so cheap! Fix this place up and modernize it so that the rest of us can get our time back and enjoy it along with our clean laundry. And for the record, this in no way reflects on the attitude of the attendant. If you don't train them properly, how could they possibly know how to fix the washers, which are your responsibility? read more

Came to laundry to do my brother's clothes for him because he just got out of hospital. Had 5 loads to wash and put them in the single washers closest to office on HOT. Water was ICE COLD no semblance of Hot on any of the 5 washers! I put in $1.25 in each washer , but it wouldn't work! Then I was just told that they were $2.50 each! Machines are old, dirty and filthy inside. What a ripoff to wash our clothes in freezing cold water when it should have been HOT WATER! Laundry management told me they ran out of Hot Water, and laundromat was 3/4 empty when we arrived! I think they just have them all with Hot Water turned off!!! The dryers say 6 Minutes for a quarter! I doubt they will be hot either! Who do I report this fraudulent laundry to, so no one else gets scammed like we did? read more

First time customer of Rainbow Laundry. I called Monday to get information not realizing it was Labor Day. No on answer but I received a text saying they were closed and would resume regular hours Tuesday. I called Tuesday morning twice, no answer either time. I text the number that text me and they told me they were open and available for drop off service. I was quoted $1.79/lb. Dropped my clothes off. The gentleman there quoted me $1.59/lb. I thought maybe the person texting possibly mistyped. No biggie. Not a huge discrepancy in price regardless of what I would be charged. My clothes were not weighed while I was there so I had no clue what my total would be. I picked up my clothes the following day. I was charged $68 and change. I've dropped laundry off before, a single basket of clothes, and have never paid more than $40-$50. I'm wondering if this has to do with not being presented when my clothes were weighed. Regardless of the charge, I was impressed. Clothes appeared to be folded neatly and polo shirts were on a hanger. Once I got home and put my laundry away, I was no longer impressed. My 9-year old nephew folds clothes better than my clothes were folded. Every article of clothing was completely wrinkled like the clothes sat in the dryer for hours before being folded. My clothes do not have that just washed fresh clean smell. They didn't smell dirty but the lack of scent from detergent or fabric softener has me wondering if either were even used. Needless to say, the amount I paid, I was not happy at all with what I noticed as I put my clothes away. I will not use Rainbow Laundry again nor would I recommend them to anyone. read more

Laundry mat super crowded you can barely pass through the washers and dryers, the owners very slick and clever while they are treating themselves with expensive clothing and brand new haircuts and beautiful smiles there defrauding the clients their dryers are adjusted by the owners for lower temperatures so customers have to spend more money to dry and a longer time, a quarter only gets you 6 minutes where other places gets you 15 minutes the washers are also smaller and expensive at least $2 more than anywhere else a simple laundry took me $60 and 3 hours in the laundry mat, I will never come back there and after letting the owner know about my problems he just smiled and rolled his eyes because he knows that he is defrauding the public, was the last time we visited this place, never again. If someone wants to build his business and make him successful and be ignorant about it, be my guest but it won't be me. read more

I try not to use public laundry mats because they are usually so dirty and poorly maintained, but this place was great! It was staffed by a real person. Super clean. When I couldn't figure out how to use the machine, someone helped me. Prices were average. read more

Who has time to do laundry? No one. Who wants to do it? No one. Very convenient and low priced for wash, dry, and fold service. I drop it off to on my way to work and pick it up on the way back. Everything is neatly folded and given to you in a plastic bag to carry easily. The dry cleaning was a bit expensive compared to some others in used to, but I think it's something you have to expect for a place that only has one location. Friendly service too. read more

It's safe and clean. There's someone on duty to help/answer questions. There are always available washers and dryers. The change machine is well stocked, as is the detergent vending machine. I drive past at least 4 laundromats to get there (no exaggeration.) I think that says everything! read more

When stuck having to do laundry for a couple who had fallen ill, I made a big mistake. Instead of immediately going on Yelp and searching for a good nearby coin operated laundry I took the word of their well-meaning neighbors which unfortunately ended me up in dive of laundry complete with grimy floors, dirty fans, and a rude attendant all housed under what appeared to be a ready to collapse suspended interior ceiling. Quickly realizing the error of my ways I went on my Yelp mobile app and quickly found the nearby Rainbow Laundry with glowing Five Star reviews. True to the reviews Rainbow Laundry proved to be, if there ever could be one, a pleasant laundry experience. It's sort of a casual place nestled in Wilton Manors having an almost neighborhood Key West charm about it in having a no rush, no hassle, everybody pleasant feeling. The place is clean, the laundry attendant polite and helpful, and there are some simple but adequate chairs along with a few magazines so you can sit back and relax while the washing machines are doing their work. Another good thing is its location with plenty of free parking and with Stork's, a really excellent coffee, sandwich and dessert shop being only about 100 feet away. read more

Dropped my laundry off and came to pick it back up 7days latter they told me it was picked up already and they gave my laundry to somebody else and said that they can't do anything. Worst experience I've ever had at any laundry place. I will be back down with the police to file a report and attempt to take any action toward the business read more

This place has gone downhill! Many washers broken and no hot water. Floors were filthy. Will not return.

The last thing I want to do on vacation is wash my clothes. While in the Ft. Lauderdale area these guys bailed me out. Everything smelled fresh and was folded and tied up so it was easy to pack and head back to the snowy North. I'll be back next time. read more

Recently moved to a place that did not have a laundry facility and forced with the decision to find a Laundromat that wasn't uber sketchy, I think I found it with Rainbow Laundry. Like most things in Florida, there is an indoor/outdoor aspect to the building. I went on a nice, sunny day, but I can't really imagine what this place would be like if it began to rain. The front entrance is completely open with chairs to sit and wait while your clothing gets washed, but on a rainy day, quite frankly I'd imagine you'd be SOL. With probably 2 weeks worth of clothing (no towels) in my bag it cost $4.00 ($2.00 per machine) and $.75 for each machine) which I don't think is bad whatsoever. The dryer costs $.25 for six minutes. I was surprised that the $.75 actually got my clothing dry, not damp dry. It's a small place. I can imagine it gets crowded quickly and last load is at 9:30pm. It's not SUPER clean on the inside, but it works. I believe they do drop off services too which I will definitely need to look into more. I will say the machines were good. They were efficient and I was out of there in just about an hours time. For those reasons I highly recommend this facility for anyone needing to use a laundromat. read more

I'm surprised for a small laundromat and with staff on the premises that it's not a cleaner place. I had to clean the top of the washing machine I used. You can see a layer of dust and lint on the dryer doors. Several customers this morning without masks. That should be enforced by staff. Not sure if I'll come back. read more

We've tried quite a few laundromats in the area the past few years and this one is the best. The top loading washers cost $2 and the front loading ones start at $4. The main reason I think this one is the best is because their dryers work so much better than their competition. For the most part, I know I'm not going to have to keep throwing in quarters for a small load of laundry to get dry. The place is really small though and has absolutely no AC which to me is unbearable in the summertime which makes me have to go to another place nearby with AC. I also wish they had wifi here as well. Rainbow is really clean though and that is a plus! Once September or October rolls around, we will be happy to go back! read more

It is just hot as heck it's one big garage door that opens with no AC so if you're gonna be there for a little while plan on parking close, throwing your clothes in and then going to sit in your car I don't think they have Wi-Fi if they have a TV I don't remember I just remember sweating like crazy and the machines were old if you need to wash a comforter or blankets it's fine but I wouldn't put my personal clothing in there. If there was a reason to enjoy having to go to a laundromat, I'll be the last person to seek that answer. But thanks to yelp, enduring our first-world issue of a nonworking dryer SIMULTANEOUSLY with enduring an under construction POS nonworking building elevator, found a tolerable solution not far from home. It wasn't perfectly clean, but clean enough. Lots of washers and dryers It was quiet, and refreshing at the same time with fellow washers, a cast of characters being in Wilton Manors. We had just come off a deep South-conservative-stuck-in-the-booneys vacation visit with relatives and appreciated the good folks at the Rainbow laundromat. Since we've been a couple/married, we good-naturedly consider ourselves an "alternative couple" mainly because it seems that the contrast of our skins (or maybe it's our amazingly unbelievable stunning good looks) frighten or startle some rude people into head-jerking-I'm-trying-not-to-look-they-can't-hear-us-whispering spastic stares. This was brought to a ridiculous plateau during our country-bumpkin vacation by so many intolerant folks during visits to certain deep South establishments. At the Rainbow laundromat, I've never appreciated "excuse me, I'm squeezing past on the left behind you" and "here are some underwear you dropped" so much before by a man who I wanted to hug like a big, fluffy teddy bear and a woman who's appearance at first made my husband feel his knees quiver beneath him, respectively. Anyhoo. lol. The prices were more than fair, $2.50 for the small front loaders and $2.00 for the white top loaders, and a usual 25 cents per 6 minutes dryers. We went around 3pm and it was quiet, then it got a little busy about an hour later as we were leaving. We didn't feel unsafe, like I said, we were content with the crowd. It's the middle of the day on a Thursday' I'm the only person here but I can't dry my clothes because all the dryers are sitting full of cold dry clothes. I cant use the last 4 dryers because they are doing drop off laundry which I understand so why are they letting people hoard the dryers and just let clothes sit. This is a great local laundromat. I own Chi Spa, right around the corner, and when our washer or dryer fails, they are my consistent go-to. I initially dropped the linens off, but was surprised at the $80 bill ($1.50/lb after drying, so it's my own fault for not calculating prior). But when I do it myself, it's no more than $10-12 and wash/dry complete in about an hour. They have big washers that do 5x load of a normal top-loader and a regular gave me an insider tip to spread the load out amongst 3 dryers and it's dry in 16-20min. I go in the am and there's never a wait for a machine. The owner/attendant is friendly and available for change. Once, when he wasn't there, I called about an error message on the washer and he texted me through troubleshooting. It was a simple issue of the door not locking, but he fairly refunded my quarters the next day. The location is quiet and it's a peaceful wait. read more

Rude and snarky attendant. I dropped off my laundry at 7:30AM, the posted time of opening. The attendant glared at me and said "Next time, we open at 8:00", speaking broken English in a very rude tone of voice. Then he shoved the pickup receipt at me, still glaring. I had been away for awhile and was not aware of the non-posted time change. This laundry used to have courteous, smiling attendants. I will not patronized this business after this. read more
