I first went to Elite the summer before my junior year for the SAT Prep Bootcamp. Admittedly, I hated every moment of it in the beginning. However, as the weeks went on, I came to look forward to my classes, as the teachers were friendly and easy to talk to, with a genuine desire to help their students understand the content. Although I may not have always been the best student, Elite's attentive staff and friendly environment combined with endless drilling of essays and math problems helped me improved my score over 200 points. I returned to Elite the summer before my senior year for their college application package. While the price tag on the CAW Plus Package may seem daunting, I can assure you that every cent was worth it. I was assigned to a counselor, Jon Kang, and an essay editor, Cheny Ng. Over the course of dozens of stressful one on one meetings, both on my end and on theirs (sorry Jon), they helped me transform my painfully incoherent essays into ones that were somehow tolerable enough to get me into my number one school. Once again, I found myself looking forward to Elite because my meetings with the counselors were not only filled with improvement, new ideas, and self discovery, they were filled with the amazing feelings of accomplishment and joy. In short, I've come to see Elite as another home because of how comfortable I've grown in that atmosphere and with all the staff. The people there truly care about the success of all their students and take the time and effort to make sure everyone gets the help they need. We were referred to Jenny at Colledge by a friend that heard a short presentation from her group of expert college counselors. Our daughter was in the 9th grade and we had heard from many people to start preparing her early. We initially thought that the 9th grade was too early, but soon found out that it was the PERFECT time to start for us. We met with Jenny for a short briefing on what they do and how they help navigate students and parents through the complex college process. After hearing the benefits of what they do, we were convinced. There was no sales pitch... just great advice. We knew we wanted to be part of the program. Our daughter met with their team on a regular basis and loved every meeting. There was enough information to keep it interesting but not so much that she was bored. The Colledge team is awesome! As her Junior and Senior years approached, our daughter kept to her schedule and worked closer with the Colledge team. All of the testing went smoothly and the whole college application process was so smooth. We all knew what to expect, when to expect it, and all of the deadlines. There were no surprises because we were informed months in advance of what to expect. Navigating through the college process can be very difficult if you don't have a team like Colledge behind your family. Looking back, it seems like it was TOO easy. It was that smooth! We recommend Jenny and Colledge to all high school students, whether 9th, 10th or 11th grade. This program's prices are so high for 0 reason…read more Comparing this place to the old program, the price here is about 3 times higher but I learn the same amount of things. Their classes are 2 hours long and only a short 10 minute break. The weekend coding tournaments that students can attend here are crappy. Most of the students have 0 knowledge of how to code and the teachers just say "Do whatever you can." The summer classes are three hours each snd you get only 2 short breaks. The classes cram everything into a short period of time making it hard to remember everything. If you ever want your child to come here, go ahead. Just don't sign up for the " VIP " program because it really has no benefits. The counseling plan is just your average school counselor checking up on you instead of you going to your school counselor. If you want to spend the 30 grand then just remember you're just financing the director's G-wagon.
