But Karina really helped a ton with coming up with poses and directing us on how to stand, where to stand etc. We started off awkward (not her fault at all, we just don't do a lot of picture taking), but within a few minutes she had us fully comfortable It was such a perfect day and the sneak peeks she sent were absolutely incredible and fun to look through. Knowing nothing about the area, Janelle essentially planned my entire wedding with her excellent suggestions of the area. I booked her for my wedding day and an adventure session. The day before the wedding, we went snowshoeing with her and Ryan, and we had SO MUCH FUN with them. They are so adventurous and fun. My husband and I often say that we could go back just to hang out with them. They are so professional, and their love is inspirational. They are the perfect team! Our wedding day was so magical, and Janelle did such a fantastic job ensuring my hair was in place, my train looked good, and kept us on schedule! I went through a good amount of photographers portfolio's on their individual websites. As I scanned over these other happy couples I realized two things. It struck me that I liked the more candid photos as oppose to the staged or posed photos. I liked when the photographer actually captured the emotion of the moment. The other realization was that quite possibly the adage you get what you pay for may truly apply to photographers. My fiancé and I discussed that the majority of our intimate wedding budget may very well go directly to the photographer. When discussing with some of our friends that had the joy of a wedding, they all agreed that the photos are what you enjoy for years and years, other details tend to not be as important as time goes by. With all that we both decided that Katy's pictures spoke to us. We reached out and she was like a warm, kind embrace through the computer. She is truly a professional, she held our hand and walked us through this wedding process every step of the way. It could not have been easy for her because she was dealing with two novices. We were planning an intimate wedding ceremony with a fun picnic to follow from Ohio when we at the time had never even been to Wyoming let alone the Teton area. We chose one of Katy's elopement packages which included engagement photos. That and the fact that we had no idea where we were going to have anything take place spurred us to visit the Jackson Hole area over a year before our planned wedding date. We were able to meet Katy for the first time and get those engagement photos taken. We met up with Katy and then followed her to the site for our engagement photo session. As my fiancé and I sat and chatted, or at times when we moved while Katy said she was checking the lighting we just enjoyed the moment. Little did we know Katy had been snapping photos the entire time. When we finished up we were so thrilled with how at ease we were the entire time, we truly thought she was checking the lighting that whole time. And then when we got our spectacular photos it drove home that we made the right decision with our wedding photographer. Katy was a perfect fit for us, and she began to feel like our friend. We went back home and got excited as our wedding date got closer and closer. Katy was always just an e-mail away and she was quick to respond to both my fiancé and myself. She made us feel confident and at ease with the entire process even though we were six states away. Then COVID hit and our world was sadly turned upside down. Katy was quick to reach out, make sure we were ok, and see what our wedding plans were. Initially we responded quickly saying the wedding was going on as planned, but as we all know too well, because we all lived through it, COVID affected all our lives. Ultimately my fiancé and I wanted to do the right thing for our friends, family, and those living in the Jackson Hole area. We cancelled our wedding and pushed it one year out. Katy was more than agreeable. She was truly wonderful during that difficult time. I spent part of the year sulking and then the other part of the year trying to loose the COVID weight. Six weeks to the dot to our wedding date, Katy did as she promised, she sent an e-mail with a sort of questionnaire. Giving us the opportunity to convey any expectations, visions, or requests for our big day. The questionnaire really helped us discuss what we were hopeful for photograph wise. The big day finally arrived and Katy was right on time. She had her signature smile, cheer, and positive outlook even though the temps were plummeting and the snow was falling. She was like a steady hand that just lead me through the day. She was my friend and my rock. I truly cannot say enough great things about Katy. She is a professional, but she is so much more than that. At the end of her time with us after the ceremony she let us know her time was winding down and if we wanted anything else it would be a good time to let her know. We got a couple of quick shots and she went on her way. Katy had let us know that we should have our proofs back in 3-4 wks. Much to our pleasure and surprise she had our wedding photos back to us in about 10 days!!! I cannot express how amazing she is. We purposely did not look at our final e-mail containing the photos until we were both able to sit down together. We popped a bottle of champagne, and poured ourselves both a glass in our wedding champagne flutes. We enjoyed scrolling through all the spectacular photos. We were able to relive and feel the emotion of our day through those pictures. Katy captured that emotion. She has a special talent and it comes through in her photographs.

Well then you found your photographer! I am beyond disappointed with how my wedding photos turned out. My husband and I eloped. I didn't want a typical wedding due to my dad passing, so we eloped and had no one present. I was truly hoping that Katy would capture our special day, and she did a horrible job. The photos are pixelated, blown out, and out-of-proportion! There is a reason why you only see one or two photos from each shoot, because you will literally only like about 1-2 photos. Due to the hideous nature of these photos, I now have to hire a new photographer to take the photos. Thanks for ruining my photos, Katy!

In the past, I've gotten hot tub chemicals, eco-friendly cleaning supplies, mops, sponges, toilet paper and paper towels made w recycled fiber (those by the case). What I'm hoping for is that more people will remember high country when looking for these items for their home, and party supplies.. and that high country will begin to carry compostable or recycled, Earth-friendlier plates, cups, napkins (they do have biodegradable eating utensils).

From the very beginning, Chef Andrew was super communicative and highly collaborative. He worked closely with me to design a perfect, custom menu that catered exactly to what we were looking for. That level of care really showed in the final result. The food was exceptional, especially the huckleberry cheesecake, which was legitimately the best I've ever had. The service throughout the night was seamless and professional, and they were even kind enough to leave the kitchen spotless before they headed out.
