We came in for dinner over the weekend for a taste of home away from home. We got the lumpia, the bangus, and the chicken adobo with rice and more. The bangus was the standout. Fried hard enough to get the edges crisp but not dried out, sour and garlicky from the marinade, and worth the work of picking around the bones. I ate it the way I was taught, with rice and a little vinegar on the side. The adobo had a good sauce that wasn't oversalted, which is where a lot of places lose me, and it was tender enough to come apart with a spoon. The lumpia were thin and rolled tight, not greasy. Both my parents have passed, and I haven't had food that tasted like theirs in a long time. This came close. Thank you. read more

Always excited to eat at Filipino restaurant to help small businesses grow and advertise to friends and family. Went to Inay's Kitchen last night (2/6/26) after our daughter's afterschool event. We were hungry and excited to have sisig, crispy pata and pansit. Pansit was salty and seems like scrap as the noodles were just about an inch long, not your normal pansit noodles. We waited and asked for a set of plates so we can eat it while waiting for the rest of our order. Took time for them to give us plates while the pansit was getting cold. We ate it nevertheless as we were hungry and no other choice but to finish it. Crispy pata, we were looking forward to dive in and munch it... it was priced at $24.99, we were expecting a big serving as with Max's pata is around $26 per order. Yes we were surprised when they served a 4 inches by 3 inches by 3 inches with the bone of course, and that was it. We asked if the price is still the same and we were told that it was small so they will give us discount for it. Come bill payment time, we were charged $21.99 for it and was told that they were giving us the $3 discount from the original price. IMO, the food is overpriced thus the reason why there were no customers on a Friday evening (7pm). Don't get me wrong, we love supporting Filipino restaurants but this one is really not worth it. Find a restaurant that is worth paying for the quality food that you will be eating, this restaurant is not that. read more

I swung by here while working in the area and decided to give it a shot. Walking in the restaurant was empty, but I was greeted by a friendly old man and had some small talk. After looking at the menu I ordered the chicken kabob. After about 15 minutes I was presented with white rice and two kabobs on lettuce. Think about the simplest bit of plating and that was it. The chicken was so-so. Nothing special. I could make better at home myself in less time. I sat there for about 15 minutes after finishing before standing up and asking for the bill myself. The dish was $12.99, the bottle of water I was given after asking for a glass of water was $1.50. I tipped generously because the people were nice, but I don't think I'll ever go back. read more

Just ate here with my family and I must say the food was really good. We ordered several of the dishes from lechon, bangus, lumpia, menudo, palabok, pakbet and the halo halo. The lumpia's are appetizers size but it was great for the kids. Overall It was very good. The staff was very friendly and even chatted with other customers during lunch which made the environment very friendly and welcoming. We will be back again soon! read more

Been here a few times for take out. I love that this tiny restaurant is just down the street from where I work. Surprised that I don't come here often. It is hard to miss when driving on the Main Street since it's nestled in between some small businesses. I only discovered this restaurant a few years ago from a fellow Filipino friend I used to work with (even though I've been working nearby for 8 years). My most recent visit I ordered pork adobo, daing bangus and pancit palabok. Nothing like my parents cooking but it was decent. My favorite is their pork adobo as the meat was very soft and tender. It was melt in your mouth delicious. I also enjoyed their daing Bangus--- which is fried fish. I grew up eating this and watched my parents cook it in their outdoor kitchen. So every time I crave Filipino food. I usually make it a point to order Bangus. I'd cook it myself but I hate the smell of cooking oil lingering inside the house. The pancit palabok is also a good choice. Flavors were great but wished they had shrimp and green onions in it. That was the way I grew up eating it anyway. But I will say that their portions were very generous and the chicharon garnish made up for it. Every province has their own way of making dishes so I guess you can say that I'm just used to my family's cooking. Inays Kitchen is a great place to get some decent Filipino food. A little pricey albeit but this is the best thing close to home. read more

I'm not sure what all I ate, but it tasted good. Was just out and about with my dad and we wanted to try somewhere new. Found this little hidden gem and figured we'd try it out. We ate what they recommended and whatever it was it was good. At the end of the meal I knew I had to try their dessert, even without knowing what it was. Looking for a Filipino restaurant while on vacation and found Inay's Kitchen. This is a very straightforward Pinoy place and has a videoke to complete the experience. We called and online it says they're open until 8pm but only open until 7pm. The 85 y/o Inay, made the most delicious crispy pork sisig and lechon kawali. The portion is good for two and prices are reasonable. If there's one reason to go back to Orlando, this would be it. The lady server was very friendly and helpful. This place is the worst Filipino reataurabt that i have ever been. The service was extremely slow. The food was yuck and inedible. I ordered their vegestable dishes and let me tell you, the mung beans was undercooked, the put chicharon and its so chewy its inedible. I feel extremely dissatisfied and extremly upset that i drove a long distance to be serve such nasty food. Their pakbet was not cooked fresh it looks like a day old. Taste was very salty. I am really rooting for this business to succeed because there are very few Filipino restaurant nearby, but this place needs to close down. Their fod is nast and insdible and it really is overpriced. Inays Kitchen was a nice surprise. It was such a warm and friendly atmosphere of people who want to share their food and see you enjoy it. My vegetarian husband had the vegetarian Lumpia (we called ahead for that) and vegetarian pancit. He wanted the pancit to have more punch so he put some sriracha on it The pancit is a noodle dish. It is not a Chinese noodle dish so do not expect it to taste like Chinese noodles! I had the pork menudo and pancit behon. I thought the pancit was delicious just as it was cooked and wished it was bigger because i would really like to have it as my whole meal. Many years ago we had some filipino friends. The pancit brought back such great memories. Its a dish that was at every party and was brought to my house when we had a party! We also had their Sweet Rice cupcakes which is called "cueo". Its not on the menu. And for dessert we shared the halo halo....WOW, if you have nothing else that you want there, go and try the halo halo! Salty, small portions... Not great The pork adobo was pretty good and a decent portion. Milk fish $9 was also pretty good. Pakbet was salty and fishy, no meat in it. Wasn't a big fan. Pork sinigang was tiny portion for $11. Only 2 fatty pieces of pork and very little vegetables. Pork skewer was decent but in a sweet bbq sauce. Also some of my pork was tendony/chewy. Came here to eat a very popular Philippino dish...chicken adobo. Very simple dish to prepare, yet very tasty. When we got our food, there was absolutely no taste. It tasted like chicken boiled in water. We told the owner, and they went in the kitchen to try and figure out what we were talking about. Came back and told us they forgot to put in 2 of the 4-5 ingredients! Said they would fix it and came back with a small piece of chicken and sauce. It didn't taste much better at all. Yet they still charged us, giving us an extremely ridiculous "discount" (I'm pretty sure it was $1 off). So we had to pay for a dish that had zero taste. Good management would've said, we apologize for that, could we make you another dish? If not, we're not going to charge you...but that wasn't the case. Had they handled it properly, I would not be writing this review right now. And since I'm here I will also say that the bathroom situation is quite poor. You have to walk through the kitchen and service area in order to get there. Once inside it feels as if you're in the utility closet. We do not recommend eating here. read more

We had lumpia, pancit, chicken kebab, chicken inasal, and steamed vegetables. And for dessert we had the flan and the halo halo. They also gave us a little sample of the pork adobo. This hole in the wall delivers excellent Filipino food just like my hypothetical Filipino grandma used to make. When you walk in you go to the back of the restaurant where there is an open kitchen and various food options on display to order. If you are unfamiliar with Filipino food the staff will explain what everything is and make a recommendation. It would be helpful they add a display with pictures and descriptions as well like the ones you see in Chinese take out places. One word of caution - skip the egg rolls as they were not up to the quality levels of their other options. The highlight of the dinner was their pork adobo - very tender and flavorful. A must try. Their skewers were also very good. They also had free Karaoke so that was a surprise bonus. Definitely jump out of your comfort zone and try the food here. OMG Delicious Filipino food! The Lechon Kawali was excellent. You can get one meat and a side for $6.99 or 2 meats for $10.99., but 1 is plenty for me. The Shanghai Lumpia was perfectly rolled and crispy. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The Lechon Kawali has the perfect crispness on the skin and juiciness on the fat part. Good Filipino food now in Ocoee!!! We tried this place with my mom and it's pretty good. Small place that is run by family, all sisters, bringing their traditional Filipino cuisine for all to try. I recommend the Bicol express and the bbq chicken or pork. The halo-halo for dessert was okay, but the ice kept getting stuck so maybe we should ask for more milk. They have that mom and pop feel, so don't expect a lot of greetings. The sisters are very welcoming and knowledgeable, their kids that work there seem to be more enamored with their phones.
