1 star -- and that's being generous. On September 15, 2025, I went to I Nails and Beyond for a simple manicure. The technician then persuaded me into getting a pedicure as well -- a decision I sincerely regret. Toward the end of the pedicure, I started feeling a burning sensation on my right foot. I didn't know why at first, since there was product all over my feet. But once it was wiped off, I realized there was a fresh open wound on my pinky toe. The cause? The technician was grating my foot like a block of cheese -- way too aggressively and absolutely unprofessionally. No certified tech should ever be doing that, especially not to the point of breaking skin and causing injury. (Assuming she's even certified.) When I brought this to their attention, no one cared. I asked to speak with a manager or owner, and no one would give me any information. No accountability. No apology. No discount. No credit. Nothing. Just blank stares. And to top it off? The same technician who cut my foot stood at the counter expecting a tip. My total came to $105, and not a single person tried to make it right -- they still charged me full price knowing I was injured under their care. Completely unacceptable. Updated Review. Since giving them a second chance they have really turned out to be great. Wanda gives the best milk abs honey pedicures. It's the most relaxing part of my day. She takes her time and goes out of her way to make sure I am comfortable! Much appreciated. Lisa is sooo good with my nails. You tell her the shape and the color and she makes it happen!! Not to mention it's gorgeous inside. This shop is located next to Sally Beauty supply in the Target shopping center at Camp Creek Marketplace. On Saturday's parking can be a challenge and they tend to be busy. However, they will accommodate you and get you in. I usually come during the week to avoid the crowds. Covid compliant. Everyone has on masks and no entry without having your temperature taken. Very clean abs everyone is socially distanced which I appreciate. $$$ read more

My first time getting a pedicure in Atlanta. I will keep searching shops until I find one without the strong upsell game. Thirty dollars for a basic pedicure and $15 more for gel is more than what the going rate is in California. I always want to opt out of the gel because it doesn't last on my brittle nails. But I absolutely despise shops that try to push me into it. This is bad customer service to me and nail shops always think they can get away with it. This shop I had to tell them five times I didn't want gel. II don't like having to say no that many times. Then because of it, I didn't really get the leg rub down and they messed the polish up putting the flip flops on trying to rush. I feel like there isn't as much effort that gets put in when you turn down the upsell. Yet, I'm paying for two pedicures and my daughter did get the gel. So customer service should have still been on point. Once I find the right shop, that's when I'll drop more dollars. But I refuse to when the customer service isn't there. read more

I want to like this place so bad. However, each time I have been it wasn't a good experience. My polish is never done like a professional and it never lasts. This is my third and final visit. We all sat under there dryer for 15 minutes and they never dried. An hour later, they were still not dry. They wanted us to get gel. Everyone doesn't want gel. This nail salon is in a awesome location. Next to all kinds of stores so there is a lot of parking. Also it was really clean and I liked the decor, it really made it appear more upscale. Honestly I wasn't sure about going to a another nail salon. You know how us women are loyal to our usual hair and nail people. So I got the basic pedicure or $25 and an SNS manicure $36. The pedicure even though it was the basic one still included everything from a scrub to that hot towel they put on your legs. The lady seemed to get an attitude when I told her only the basic one, over and over after she kept insisting to get the most expensive package. But in the end she got over it and did a good job. Toni did my nails and they turned out amazing he was really cool and friendly. He even laughed at my jokes and joined in on our conversation (a friend & I). Even though I live nowhere near this place I would recommend if you're in the area & need a quick mani or pedi, pop over to serene beauty lounge. read more

Everything was just ok. I was already not impressed when I was told there is no manicure with SNS. It is $5 extra. So total $41, because SNS is $36. I don't mind the cost, even though they repeated 3x it is extra. My concern was that they would start dipping my dry, non washed clean, finger nails. Pedicure was done well. Friendly tech, neat job. Here is the problem.....There was an argument between a customer and an employee. I witnessed the entire thing and saw for myself the employee was 100% wrong. Additionally, my friendly tech turned crazy saying, he is distracted because he is about to fight.....fight? the petite black woman? Wow, ok. Also, 2 of them called 911......the police, for a dispute over nail polish. The salon was clean, nicely decorated, quiet. However I can never return and give them my money after seeing how they treated a customer. She could be my sister, cousin, niece or friend. I came to this salon to get a pedicure and a fill in on the nail set that I just got 2 weeks ago. Before I knew what was happening this girl came over and plopped my fingers onto a bowl of warm acetone effectively destroying the full set that I just purchased. I asked what she was doing and she told me that she always soaks nails off before doing them. (Basically she doesn't know what the hell she's doing!!!!!). Then she proceeds to ask me if I want to buy another full set. NO!!!! I WANT THE DAMNED NAILS THAT I CAME IN HERE WITH!!!!!! Now I will be walking around until I get back to Michigan with my hands looking ridiculous!!! I AM NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN AND I RECOMMEND YOU DONT EITHER!!! They are ripping people off!!!! Been coming here for about 3 months, started because Lish nail bar was extremely packed one day, so o said why not. During times of COVID this establishment is doing everything they can to remain open and keep up sanitation. Upon entering you fill out an appointment log and your temperature is taken. Every station is set up with plexiglass for mani and pedicures.. As far as professionalism, they get all A's. This was my first time Getting the Ombré acrylic, and Kim at station #9, was very patient with me. One star so I can post my review, I have had it with this place, y'all know the saying you get what you pay for? Well not in this case, I Paid for a relax and pedicure but I receive a nail polish change and some oil on my legs not a massage but oil rub on my legs, $40 done in 12 minutes yep . I paid $55 for a fill-in and 2 nail replace from getting my nails done at this salon a week and a half ago. I tell the nail tech that was doing my nails that the nail keep popping out within a few days of coming there he remember me so he said he will make sure it's not gonna happen and guess what the very next day which was Saturday one of my nail pop right off clean and today is Wednesday five days later and I have three nails off again ,and they expect to get a tip when they did not even do a good job for what I'm paying for. i'm not sure what kind of product they are using but it's very cheap and it's not worth my money. Please do not come here. This is business, but no one is professional. It was so loud because they were all yelling or talking trash about their consumers. The lady that did my feet sucked, so badly. Didn't shape my toe nail, so my nail isn't straight. Didn't paint my whole toe, there are spots missing polish. She put lotion on my legs and rubbed my leg 5 fives (I counted) and was done, what kind of massage was that? . It was such a rushed job that my feet took her 7 mins to do. She also called me poor because I didn't want the deluxe pedicure or gel polish on my toes. The lady who painted my toes didn't fill in my whole nails either. Omg I never experienced such bad service. I feel like crying it's so bad. Worst $70 I ever spent. I want to go back and take my tip back. Gosh I really hope they improve. First time coming here and never coming here again. I know what they said because I'm Vietnamese. I spoke English because my Vietnamese isn't the best, but I sure can understand everything. I've been consistently supporting this new nail salon and I have been pretty pleased until recently. Three weeks ago I experienced a horrible pedi. My pedi was done by a young gentleman (maybe late teens). This was my first time leaving as a dissatisfied customer I waked in yesterday afternoon and stood at the front counter for at least 5 minutes, not one person acknowledged me being there. All of the workers looked up at some point yet, nobody said one minute, may I help you...nothing! I walked out and went to Lush (which is owned by the same person). Hopefully this nail salon improves the quality of service and customer service quickly or I'll take my business back to Smyrna, GA. read more

Amazing work! Only reason I'm not rating 5 stars is there's no cuticle oil application with SNS, so my hands looked ashy. Other than that, it was quick and easy. I called in advance to make an appointment and when I arrived I was seated immediately. I did see a walk-in they had to wait for approximately 30 minutes before having her nails done. TODAY WAS THE LAST STRAW!! After walking in the day before for a fill in and being turned away without explanation and told to call/come the next day, I waited FOR OVER AN HOUR to be told that I could not be seen because it was getting too late. They absolutely knew that I was waiting and could have been gracious enough to inform me of this much earlier. That is extremely repulsive customer service. A month prior to this experience, I came in to get my nails done for my wedding. I wanted to get a similar ombre design I found online. They informed me that they could absolutely accommodate my request. It was a complete disaster. I informed them that I was not happy with the outcome, and I would be willing to pay more to get something nicer (I mean I only get one wedding day). I was not combative or upset. They told me absolutely not. They could only completely remove the manicure, and I can take my business elsewhere. Shocking behavior, and this came directly from the manager. Prior to the last three experiences, I have received pedicures here at least five times. I have brought friends and family here as well. I always had great experiences. The quality of service has declined exponentially. Never again. I will absolutely no longer support this business!! read more

Please read this for your safety and pass it on to any other women you know. On April 27th I went to Serene Beauty Lounge. I have been here many times before. However, on this day had to call the police. The manager did my SNS then sent me over to the pedicure chair to have my toes done. I had normally used Kim to do my nails but today a lady named Amy Nguyen ( the manager provided her name) did them. It's important to note that I had on short denim shorts. As Amy is doing my nails I notice that she does a face time call. I thought this was rude but figured I would give her a second since I know the techs work long hours with few breaks. Here is where things get strange. She NEVER said a word to the person she called. I could see her screen. The person was an older white Male in his late 50's to early 60's. He was shirtless and laying in bed propped up. At first Amy positioned the phone in her rolling caddie top drawer to where it's facing her face and my feet. Again, she is not speaking nor did she ever speak and the phone is positioned for the man to observe. Next thing I know she positions the phone to the corner of the caddie drawer and the man is looking DIRECTLY AT ME! I can see myself legs, face, everything in the top right square. Then he begins licking his tongue out at ME! I yelled.." Why is he looking at ME!" Amy hurriedly turns the phone over and says..."No, no he was looking at me." All of this occurred in under a minute. I sat there trying to process what the hell had just happened. Then it hit me! Didn't take long but I was so shocked! This woman had set up with some man to observe ME without my consent or permission! I was hot! How dare she and he violate me! The more I thought about it the angrier I got! I know this was preplanned and had to have been done before! If she/ they are bold enough to do this here in public what else are she/ they doing to their customers without consent. I'm sure he knows where she works and where customers like myself are. Which just added an extra layer of a safety risk.I filed a police report. A complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the state licensing board. I also put my review/complaint on Google and Yelp. Please be careful. Things like this tend to escalate to greater violations and possible harm. read more

This is my 3rd time coming here. 1st time I got a pedi & gel manicure. 2nd, just eyebrows. 3rd time I got a full set with ombré and pedi. I absolutely love this salon! Kathy did a great job on my eyebrows, I will now only go to her. Tony did a great job on my full set. He did it exactly how I wanted!!!! I'm so in love with my ombré nails.
