I've had two appointments with Stephanie. The first, she cut my hair shorter than I asked then colored Golden rather than Ash. I hate gold:brass in my hair. Well, i liked Stephanie so I gave her another chance. I wanted to get highlights before Christmas to blend my gray roots. She decided to cover my root area with color instead. When rinsed, my roots looked orange. I panicked and told her. She said "no, it's not orange. Let me dry it, you'll see" .Never offered a toner. Then her next client came in. She went back and forth between us. She dried my hair and, although better, it was still a pale red/ orange. I paid her $100 plus tip. When I got home, I decided to wait and see if it would tone down. Not a chance. I messaged Stephanie a couple of days later because I knew she was taking a holiday break. I told her I was unhappy with results and didn't want to look like this through the holidays. She never responded. I was so sad to go through Christmas and New Years events with my orange roots. Website states the salon is open to 10. We arrive before 8p. 5 stylists are there. 4 ladies and 1 man. The man packs his bag and ignores us. All the ladies state they don't cut men's hair. Really, salon school only teaches single sex. We pleaded that he needed a cut for graduation in the morning. Sorry can't help you. I'm sure if I was the owner, I would be pissed. read more

I purchased a groupon for haircut and blow dry with Tameca and it was worth it. I love my haircut! Tameca did a great job! I haven't cut my hair in over year and it's always a risk you take when you go some place new but this risk paid off. Tameca and the salon had great reviews so I gave it a shot and I'm so happy I did. My hair is very long and the ends were so dry and had split ends. Tameca asked me how much I wanted to cut off and showed me before she did. I asked for long layers, which she gave me, along with adding texture to the cut. Deb is a nut. She's psycho. She went nuts on me when I came in to visit her. I used to go to her for my hair. I stopped with my Rescue dog and she hid behind my back when Deb kept telling me to get the F.CK out of there. In shock, because I thought we were friends I used to take her to my Country Club and give her what we call Nosh, which means food. Over an over she kept saying it, to get the F.ck out! Again,I thought she was kidding because I thought we were friends. My poor little rescue dog had already been scared enough. I actually started to cry. I Didn't know what in the world was going on.. She actually had me sit down in a chair And proceeded to cut my hair. I actually had just had it cut and went to show my workmates how cute it was. I had the worst experience there, my hair was completely ruined. I have very fine hair and the girl decided to use straighteners which I have never used on my hair. It was completely fried. I went back and she blamed the hairspray, she gave me a conditioning treatment with an attitude which didn't work either. Tameca gave me a different haircut from what I came for and paid for. I was very clear on what I wanted including bringing pictures of the cut I had and the cut I was growing into. I was going for a fairly simple bob with bangs. That is what the pictures were. We agreed that the lady who did my hair before put unneeded layers in the back leading to what Tameca told me over and over was a horrible cut. Tameca's solution was that she took it on HERSELF without consulting with me to cut the front and sides in dramatically short layers. Now I have a truly weird haircut that instead of taking a few months to grow out the back alone will mean I have about 8 months (at 1/2 inch per month) to get the bob I want....and basically already had when I walked in. I was able to style the prior haircut into the bob in the picture but did not like how the back did not have the usual fullness of a bob due to too many layers. Tameca truly ruined my haircut. I did not realize this until I got home and tried to style it myself. Not only can i not get a bob look... even in front now.... I cant even blow dry it to get a somewhat smooth effect. It is truly chopped up. The whole time she worked on my haircut she said how many bad haircuts she had to correct! Tameca said I should never go back to that other stylist. I gave her a big tip as she seemed nice (despite swearing several times and putting down my last gal.....in a forceful way that was strange). If I had realized what a terrible job she had done I would have refused to pay. She made the haircut look sorta ok when I left. and I have to hand it to her though she corrected the back. But since she RUINED the rest of my haircut I am warning the rest of you not to go to her. STAY AWAY! read more
