I would 100% go back here immediately! One of the best workout classes I have been to…read more I did a strength class and was actually sore the day after! The instructor was so easy to talk to and did a great job making me feel comfortable and understand what to expect. The workout itself could be performed by a varying of age groups and experiences levels. My favorite workouts are the ones that feel easy and fun, but leave me sore. This workout did exactly that. They also have childcare on sight . I would book in advance and the studio can be quite busy. If driving there for the first time, Apple Maps will direct you to the upper parking lot. It is located I little farther down the drive way in the lower parking lot near the river.

This is a long overdue review for Barre3! I was a member in Portland at the SE location, and spent…read moremy first few months in Bend getting my workout on at this awesome studio. Today I returned, and was reminded of a few things... 1. 2015 presented some challenges that caused me to get out of my normal workout-aholic state - I am out of shape! 2. Everyone at Barre3 from the instructors to the participants are an awesome group of people. 3. Holy crap - it seems like an easy workout as your not doing large movements, but wow, those little contractions equal a whole lot of "shakes and quakes" and make significant changes in your body. Classes are an hour, and start out with a warmup floor segment, then move on to a lower body segment at the barre, then back to the floor for more legwork incorporating upper body weight training, and finally, an ab and glute section on the mats. The classes go by quickly, generate a ton of sweat and soreness, and the music keeps you going when you think you can't do one more rep. I'm going to be one sore and happy gal tomorrow after this awesome workout. Sidenote: They offer childcare during classes and have a small play area, and I've noticed over my time at the various studios that this is a workout that expectant mama's love, as it's easy to modify and still get results while creating a tiny beautiful human.

This fitness center probably makes fives times as much money as any other gym in bend. They charge…read more65-75$ a month. All the gym products are old and falling apart. The locker rooms are absolutely disgusting by the end of the day. They don't have male cleaners here. That means no one is cleaning the men's locker rooms all day. The classes posted on the doors don't match up to the classes online. They do not turn on the heat in the hallways. You go from the sauna to a freezing cold hallway. Feels like you're gonna get sick. This gym is basically a daycare center mixed with an old people's home. They are always having events and closing the pools. They close early without notice and the hours here are horrible. There are homeless people lurking in the parking lots and come into use the facilities. Things get stolen as well. I cannot wait for there to be real adult fitness club in bend. Because juniper is garbage.

So many pools to choose from! Sauna, Hot tub, and no cold plunge but a cold shower. I wish there…read morewas a cold plunge. Barb D.'s restorative yoga class is amazing. Go at least ten min early though it fills up. I like the home made granola bars at the desk snacks. Also the lap swim is great. Both 25 and 50 meters. I think 25 is easier and allows more swimmers to have their own lanes but they switch it up. I'm thin and the outdoor pool is a few degrees too cold for me. I'm uploading pictures of the indoor pools only which are great temperatures.
