MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY!! I'm not an engineering client, but I am a client who bought a used…read morevehicle from them....a 2006 Dodge Ram. John Haynes, Drilling Manager, was the representative who sold me the vehicle on Ebay. He made misrepresentations in the description of the vehicle and even told me it drives fine. I drove all the way to West Virginia from New Mexico expecting to drive the truck home. I didn't even make it out of West Virginia. The motor was blowing oil thru the turbo into the exhaust at a rate of a gallon for every hundred miles, which could have caused a fire while I was driving it. I left the truck at a gas station and arranged to have it transported to my home. I emailed John Hayes and David Meadows at the corporate office explaining what happened, and asked to at least be compensated for the transportation cost that I incurred because of the lies and misrepresentation told to me. Neither of them had the decency to reply back. This is astounding to not get a response, especially from a firm that represents itself as "professional" and claims it "listens" to its clients. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company that doesn't think it's important to respond back to its customers. With Triad's Drilling Manager blatantly lying to me about the condition of the company's vehicle, I would think that corporate would respond with an apology. The company's actions in choosing not to respond to me in order to make things right for what their representative did clearly demonstrates their true unprofessionalism and indicates that they do not hold high ethical standards. I hope all potential and current clients see this post so they are aware of the kind of company Triad Engineering, Inc. is and the kind of treatment they provide their customers.

Not impressed with this company at all. While attempting to sell our large home that overlooks the…read moreOhio Valley, two different potential buyers contacted this company to perform home inspections which included testing for radon. Our results were over the action level of 4 pCi/L. Of course, we were panic-stricken and decided to investigate the problem. After numerous hours of research, we found that many factors affect the tests and that this company failed to follow strict EPA protocols. Their report was extremely vague, no details whatsoever, which is required by the EPA. The results contained in the standardized report was a picture of a tripod with a sign on it and a number (not what testing method was used, the number of tests, when the testing took place, how long it lasted, etc.). The EPA recommends fixing your home if the radon level is 4 pCi/L or more. Oddly enough, Mountain State Inspections, LLC also runs a radon mitigation company. Radon is everywhere, and especially abundant here in the Ohio Valley (OH, WV, and PA area) with the average level being 14.7 pCi/L. When a house is tested, it is closed up for days so that there is no air movement. To lower the radon level, a fan is required. Before paying thousands of dollars to reduce the level, do your own research and know that eliminating radon exposure is not possible. According to the US Army Corps of Engineers, "A curie is a standard measure for the intensity of radioactivity contained in a sample of radioactive material. A picocurie is one trillionth of a curie...To put the relative size of one trillionth into perspective, consider that if the Earth were reduced to one trillionth of its diameter, the "picoEarth" would be smaller in diameter than a speck of dust. In fact, it would be six times smaller than the thickness of a human hair."
