I am fortunate enough to have an apartment with a garage here at IMT Stoneleigh at Deerfield. But it is a mechanical item and things do go wrong with them. The other night I tried the remote to go out and the garage door would not open! Goodness how trapped I felt but the team here could not have been nicer or more responsive!!! I contacted the emergency night staff and they said they could come right over to look at it. I simply told them it was late but first thing in the morning would still satisfy my need to 'escape' and get my car out. The very first thing the next morning a repairman was here to fix it. He told me the motor was not working and that he would have to escalate the situation to a replacement and not a repair. Before I realized a garage door specialist was at my place replacing the whole mechanism! I was 'set free' early enough that morning to make my appointment after a whole new system was installed. Kudos and much thanks to the whole staff here for their mutual concerns, rapid response and courtesy throughout the brief, but debilitating process!! Needless to say I recommend IMT Stoneleigh at Deerfield because of the top notch staff from top to bottom! read more

I lived at this IMT Property for two years and it was a fantastic experience. This was my first apartment experience and I felt very lucky with how easy they made it. The one thing I can tell you about this property is the service team and maintenance team are phenomenal. As soon as I put in a service request, the issue was addressed same day, or the next. The property is always kept in great shape and management is on top of any issues. I would have stayed at this property for much longer had I not decided to move states. read more

There is a reason why this place only gets 3 stars, but before I get into that I want to point out: - Living, Repair response, Amenities, are all awesome. 4 stars - Kellen! She is awesome to work with. No hard selling when we checked the place out, Super fast responses through email, always asks how we are doing, made lease signing very quick & the move in smooth. I would give her 6 stars if I could. Now about the missing stars: I moved in with my family from San Francisco, with the promise that Alpharetta prided itself with being a "Tech City". It is in alot of respects. However broadband offerings are abysmal here. In San Francisco I paid 70$ for 300mbps down per month. In this apartment I have to shell out close to 140$ to Comcast for the same service. As a Tech Professional that works from home, I cannot emphasize more how important a reliable fast internet connection is for supporting me and my family. Normally this wouldn't be an issue with the property, and a complex wouldn't need to suffer a poor review like this. HOWEVER: Alpharetta went out of it's way to wire the city up with fiber infrastructure. At&t charges 70-80$ for unlimited fiber connected internet. After talking with the At&t representative, I was told that the reason they couldn't offer service was due to the fact that the property has not built out fiber to the corner of the road. (they do offer a pitiful 50mps for 40$, but this is horrible to do any work from) This should be embarrassing to IMT, as the big orange "FIBER CONNECTION HERE" marker sticks out for all to see (right next to the deerfield sign in front no less) when us parents drop off our children to the bus. Is 1gb internet connection possible? Sure it is, Comcast offers it for 400$ a month! Which here-in lies the problem. If a fiber connection is important to someone's business, then this "highway robbery" would need to be taken into consideration when mulling over overheadcosts of working from home. This could lead to the possible following scenario: - Tech worker searches for apartments that are hooked up to fiber, finds that the rent is 200-300$ more than Stoneleigh. - Said tech worker finds that 1gb connection at stoneleigh will bring the monthly cost up to a more expensive apartment connected to fiber across the way. ( Since Comcast xfinity is the only option for this currently) - Tech worker sees that the more expensive apartment connected with fiber ends up being the better deal. IMT! I beg of you, please look into what it would take to connect with the fiber right in front of your building. It would help you advertise this place, and ONE UP the competition. Sadly....If I would have known you guys didn't bother connecting to the fiber outside, I would have chosen somewhere else. There are lots of Tech workers looking to relocate from California that I know personally. If I were to recommend this place, the first thing they would ask me is: "Alpharetta is a fiber city right Shane? Is that place hooked up?" Regretfully I would have to tell them to keep on looking. It's too bad because Stoneleigh has a lot of good things going for it, awesome people on the staff even. If this fiber thing gets rectified, I would definitely plan on staying for years to come....and I truly hope that day arrives. If this changes I will edit this review and give you the 5 stars you deserve. Last complaint: Dumbells only go up to 50lbs in the weight room. More than a few of us would love it (I've talked to the other residents about this) if you could offer up to 75 or 80lbs. The rack has room for them. read more

I'm a new resident and so far I love living here. Moved in with my husband a few days ago and when I went to do my first load of laundry yesterday the hose came out of the drain and started flooding my pantry. I was petrified and slightly embarrassed that this had happened on our 4th day of living here. I immediately called Kelsey up at the office while turning off the water and within 5-10 minutes of it happening she got the maintenance guy up here and he reassured me that everything was okay and tied the hose down for me. They were so quick and efficient, and just made a horrible situation so much easier for me. Thanks you guys! I went here at the end of August with no appointment and was curious about the prices, deposit and availability. The location was well landscaped and seemed like a good, clean safe to live. When I walked in they were understaffed but the young lady that helped me, Maria, was nothing but courteous and professional, despite her helping others. She answered all of my questions and did not make me feel rushed. Although I chose somewhere else to live, I did recommend a friend that they come here. I should have known from the beginning that this was not the apartment for me, but decided to give IMT Stoneleigh a chance. On my move in date I was provided keys to a FILTY apartment (Stains on carpet, Dirty yellow handles on refrigerator/microwave , burns inside microwave, dirty ring around tub, walls chippings/walls weren't painted, urine on toilet seat, spider webs in kitchen and restroom ceiling, and the list goes on...) Contacted the manager Stacey who advised that they hire professional cleaners and can have the issue corrected. Since I had movers scheduled to move me from one apartment to the next I didn't have time to supervise the correction. The microwave was changed out BUT the refrigerator handle was poorly spray painted in order to give the illusion that it was a new handle. Also,I was advised that the tub can be painted but I wouldn't be able to use it 2-3 Days, and the walls could be touched up but when I ask why weren't they painted the same gray color as shown in the model and the color in which I was promised, I was advised that they do not have the paint color and that the company who decorated the model added that color on their own but they can provide the color code so that I may purchase the color myself.. . Since moving in the Gate has NEVER worked, and I was never given an access code or FOB. Although I was told I would be provided one once the gate is fixed 2 weeks from my move in date in December. I've put in 3 requests to fix my A/C, and everyday I come home to the dirtiest hallways (I've put in requests for that as well),my neighbor leaves her trash bin in the hallway although I was under the impression that the trash bins are supposed to be taken inside once the trash has been picked up. I Would strongly suggest looking elsewhere as I am totally looking forward to the day in which my lease is up. Definitely a different lifestyle from living in Walton Communities. read more

EXTREMELY RUDE management! Went to visit this place and the leasing office manager was extermely rude and lacks basic customer service. She is not friendly, helpful or even someone who cares for prospective residents. Management should hire people who understand the meaning of professionalism, etiquette, customer service and know how to treat people with minimum respect. Not those who are extremely rude and dont really care about their job responsibilities. I have decided not to pursue this apartment because of the way i was treated. There might be more to follow this pattern if this is how people are treated by the leasing office management. If this is how they treated prospective residents, then i couldnt even begin to imagine how they would treat current residents. Absolutely ZERO Customer Service. EXTREMELY disrespectful. read more

Update after 18 months: My previous review was solicited and at the time I was satisfied, but that has changed dramatically. This complex has gone drastically downhill since we moved in. What was once a nice community has turned into an unkempt nightmare. Don't be fooled by the amenities they advertise... Where do I even begin? - After 5 months of waiting, our dryer still hasn't been repaired. - Our valet trash can was stolen and we were told they didn't have any more, I finally convinced a maintenance employee to give me one. - Valet trash pickup is inconsistent. We have been skipped multiple times resulting in cats/raccoons tearing into trash and spreading it about. - There are stray cats and raccoons that management refuses to deal with. Management will not put a stop to other tenants feeding them. - The dog park is filthy and there are not enough pet waste stations, and even where they have them they are often out of bags or full. - Trash cans were removed from the grounds - resulting in even more issues with the pet waste stations or people not cleaning up after pets altogether. - The gym and clubhouse (business center, movie theater, rec room) were closed with absolutely no notice whatsoever. Email was sent on Thursday night and they were closed beginning Friday. - The grills have been broken for months, and are never cleaned. - Pest control is a complete and utter joke, even though it's something we pay for. - "Gated Community" is another farce, the pedestrian gates never work properly and the gates for vehicles malfunction all the time. - They used to pressure wash our hallways frequently, but that stopped months ago. - Leaky faucets, toilets back up, overall plumbing issues that were not evident when we moved in, AC units are not sufficiently powerful/efficient Stay far away from IMT Stoneleigh @ Deerfield if you like to enjoy the amenities promised to you and care about your security. I'm deeply disappointed in the decline of this community and it's amenities. read more

I hope that the class of the tenants that live there have changed. We had an apt with a garage, and were constantly blocked in. We even went as far as to buy a sign with our own money stating no parking in front of the garage. People still did it. One night the sign was even stolen off of the garage door. Once someone pulled in front of several garages to talk to someone. I opened my garage, asked the person to move, and they told me they would not move until they were done with their conversation. I now live somewhere else and none of this has ever happened at the new place. When I first moved there, I went to the upstairs neighbor to let them know they were loud, and it was past 10pm. They got quiet that night, but after that night was constantly loud. You could hear their dog barking and running around at all times of the night. There were parties that were at the complex until 3AM and nothing was ever done about them. I'm hoping with the change of management this is no longer the case. read more

I just can't say enough good things about this complex, the apartment management and maintenance teams - just fantastic. In particular Stacy Morthka, the property manager genuinely cares about the property, the residents, the peace and quiet, the safety and she does so much for us. As always, my only complaint are some trashy neighbors that leave dog feces and trash around the complex. If weren't for those few people this place would be perfect. My garage door broke over weekend. Since I could open it manually, I didn't call in emergency but instead put in a regular service request online. I figured there were probably a lot of request from weekend so I figured it would take couple of days for repair, which was fine since I could still utilize. I watched this place go downhill over the last 6 months. New management has not helped. Rent is sky high for a renovated apartment. My entire building has roaches! The once family orientated pool has become a club every weekend! Kids can't play because the same group of individuals have taking over the pool. Not to mention during week people hang out at the pool all hours of the night partying! The courtesy officer is a freaking joke and never anywhere to be found!! Writing this at 3:01 AM because people are partying at pool and we cant sleep because they are soooo loud! This has become the hood of Alpharetta! read more

I don't live there yet but I can't wait! The upgraded units are just gorgeous and the amenities can't be beat. But the real gem of this community is the attentive office staff. I called to set up an appointment to look around and since I was coming on my lunch break, they took all of my preliminary info over the phone so they could make the most of the small amount of time I had. When I got there, we immediately got in the golf cart to look around. Kristen showed me around the property and she is seriously AMAZING. I am coming from a house and considering apartment living again but my greatest concern was dealing with an apartment office again. I have had terrible experiences with unresponsive and rude office staff but Kristen never fails to put me at ease! This community was at the top of what we wanted to pay, but we are definitely willing to pay more for exceptional service and that is what Kristen has provided. She is really the reason I chose this complex. And now that I am going through the application process she is just as helpful, responsive, and friendly as ever! Whatever this complex does, they better not let her go! Give her all the raises because she deserves them for going above and beyond every step of the way. I never thought I would be excited about apartment living but for the first time, I really am! read more
