Wonderful community! It is very well maintained and is always clean. The gym is 24/7 and they have lots of equipment, not like the usual apartment gyms. I love using the car care center, you can vacuum and check tire pressure for free !! The maintenance is always super fast at getting your requests done, usually the same day. read more

I am beyond disappointed with how things are managed at this property. I am beyond disappointed at the personal accountability and follow up that is done by management. Don't get me wrong, the apartments themselves are great but if you need something done that should be simple you better forget about. The problems started from the day I asked if an apartment was available and was told yes. Then the next day I was told the apartment was more than I was quoted. The person who gave me the quote was a temp and didn't know the correct price. That's not my fault that you didn't train her correctly. Then after we agreeing to take the apartment they wanted use to have utilities put in our name and pay security and rent before the background check came back. The background check took longer than expected for some reason. I told them I was not jumping through anymore hoops until we signed a lease and keys were in hand. My husband contacted the office 5 time to fix the refrigerator. It was replaced on the 5th call but not before having to throw away food 4 times because the temperature was to low. My husband moved into the apartment before I did. We moved from out of state and he was staying in Airbnbs before he moved into the apartment. He had an instant pot that he used to cook his food in and didn't use the oven. When I got down here and I went to use the oven, the oven was dirty and I was upset because my husband said he hadn't used it yet. When I told the girl in the office that the apartment was given to us with a dirty oven she just blew it off. Didn't offer to have it cleaned or anything. I didn't use the oven until Christmas. I went back to the office and told the office manager what happened. I showed her date stamped pictures of the dirty oven. After a call to the cleaning crew they now wanted to charge me $30 to clean the oven. Also if the oven wasn't cleaned when we moved out we would be charged. I was furious! I ended up cleaning the oven myself...self cleaning and scrubbed. Upon moving out my husband and I cleaned the apartment top to bottom. I'm orginally from Illinois and this is my first time living in Georgia. In Illinois landlords don't charge you for cleaning the carpets in the apartment unless you really damage them. I ordered a professional carpet cleaning product from a place that normally sales to businesses. I even bought a carpet cleaner. I deep cleaned the carpets twice and took pictures of every single area of the area...I mean everything. I talked to the office manager and told her we cleaned the apartment including the carpet. After she viewed the apartment she said it looked great and thanked me for cleaning it. Now it's time to get my deposit back and they charge me $75 for carpet cleaning. I called and ask why? She said the carpet cleaners charged $150 but they only charged me $75. Again I asked why! I professionally cleaned the carpet twice. I took pictures. The office manager could only provide me with a bill for cleaning the carpet. The carpet cleaners had no pictures of any damage, no proof of anything. He!! for all I know they may not have cleaned it at all and said that they did. There was no reason for them to clean it. So the office manager said she would give me the bill and I could contact them. I told her NO! That was her job! It was her job to keep track of what was done and follow up. She didn't even need to contact them to clean it. EVERY SINGLE TIME something needed to be done that was an inconvenience to us we paid the price for it...they NEVER took personal accountability for anything. And they sure as he!! didn't try and compensate us for it. read more

We had some issues with moving from a house to another place while our new home was getting built. She took the time to talk with us, helped us come up with options to our issues. I have lived at Greystone Summit Forsyth for three years now. The manager of the complex is Raquel Orrego. A little less then a year into my living there the shower was getting a mold buildup in the areas where there is caulking by the shower door. The materials used to build the shower are very poor in quality and it seems that the mold is caused by air getting into the shower because of a poor installation of said shower and shower door. On 06/25/2018 I sent in a maintenance request to clean the mold and re-caulk around the door. Their attempt to fix the solution was just to caulk over the old and not clean the mold. The mold and dirt buildup returned and on 10/11/18 I submitted another request to clean the mold and for them to please remove the old caulk, mold, and residue before putting down new. Again they simply caulked over the old. This year I stayed at my sister's during the pandemic starting in April. I returned to check on my apartment in June and found a lot of mold buildup in the caulked areas that I had trouble with before, not to mention all around my shower. I sent in a request for them to remove the mold and re-caulk. They refused to remove the mold and told me to "clean my shower." The email sent by staff member Diana as delegated to her by head manager Raquel Orrego stated: "Our maintenance team got your request to check for mold in your master bathroom shower. Alex saw lots of build up from lack of cleaning the shower properly, which is also the cause of all the smudges and pink stripes all throughout your shower. Please thoroughly clean you shower, including the walls and the floor." My request stated that I had been out of the apartment since the start of the pandemic and it did not say for them to clean my shower for me but to "please remove the black mold around the shower. Please caulk the shower to help prevent this from happening." Just as my previous 2 requests had stated. This is a prime example of the maintenance not wanting to do their job. It also reflects on Raquel Orrego for not wanting to do her job and instead of checking into the situation for her resident she takes the word of her maintenance crew. Then Raquel has another staff member (not even herself) send a passive aggressive email to me refusing my request. I signed a paper when I first started leasing at the complex that I would report all mold and they would remove said mold. They refused to clean the mold putting my health at jeopardy. I can clean my shower but removing the mold from the caulked areas is their job especially since the mold could be hazardous. Below you will find pictures of the mold in the caulked areas around the door. These pictures were taken after I sent in the request and after they sent me the email refusing to remove the mold. When asked who wrote me the email the staff member Diana couldn't remember anything about an email or who wrote it only to find out that it was Diana herself who wrote it. By Diana lying to me it directly goes to show not only the poor moral compass of the staff but also the poor morals and costumer services of Raquel Orrego as she is the manager of the complex and trains the staff...although she is rarely seen on property. When I went to discuss my concerns about my treatment and the refusal of the mold removal I found there was a sign on the front door of the clubhouse that stated for all persons inside the clubhouse to wear a mask. When I entered the clubhouse Diana and Kimberly came to the door were I was standing. Diana had on a mask but Kimberly did not. By not wearing a mask Kimberly was endangering my health and showing blatant disregard to standards and rules set fourth by the team at Greystone Summit. Kimberly left the room to leave Diana and I to talk about my concerns only to return, again without a mask, to stand propped in the doorway eavesdropping and unprofessionally just watching my conversation take place. She finally got a mask from the office after walking all around the clubhouse without one. The final example of poor management and maintenance that I would like to bring up concerns a request I put in on 10/10/2018 in regards to a mouse loose in my apartment. The maintenance team put down ONE piece of sticky paper in the closed closet that houses my water heater and that was all that was done. There was no follow up from maintenance. Management did not contact me either to see if the mouse was caught or what they could do about the mouse feces. There lack of concerned about the mouse seemed funny. To me a mouse in someone's apartment would seem like a big deal since they can carry diseases. I finally caught the mouse myself with the traps I had previously purchased before I sent in the request. However, I still find mouse poop in my apartment since the 2018 incident. We are being relocated by my husband's company, so I am looking for temporary housing while we search for a house and sadly, as much as I wanted to, we won't be renting from Greystone. From the pictures, this is a v. gorge property, but I can't get them to call me back. I've left two voicemails, sent two e-mails, I even spoke with their lovely central call center, but no one ever returns my calls. The apartments appear spacious and well-appointed. I'm giving them three stars because the call center was very informative--they even gave me the unit number that I wanted to rent--but without contact from the property itself, I can't rent a home here. read more

The ladies that work here are really nice ! I was looking for immediate move in, but they are only offering a waiting list right now. Definitely will be coming back next year. I recently visited Greystone Summit Forsyth and immediately knew this was the community for me. The place is beautiful and well kept.... but most importantly, Christy and Stephanie in the office provided exceptional service by working with me and being flexible for my needs. Unfortunately, work is relocating me temporarily, so I won't be able to move in at this time, but I would recommend this community to anyone considering a move!! While I did not ultimately end up moving to Greystone Summit, I did strongly consider it and wanted to share my experience regarding the application process. First, the staff could not have been more professional and nicer. Everyone I spoke with was helpful, friendly and enjoyable to speak with. I think I spent an hour one Saturday just chatting with Stephanie because they're just that easy going in the office. These apartments are very popular (and for good reason), and there is a waiting list for most of them. When I applied, a hit came back on my credit report from an old complex that I didn't even realize was on my report ($55 electric bill). I immediately resolved it that same day, however, the 'damage' was done as far as it went for the apartment I wanted to move into. As a result of this one outstanding bill, I was now told that I needed to provide a full month's rent as deposit (even though I had taken care of it the same day and could provide documentation). As we were not willing to pay $1350 unexpectedly for a deposit, this meant we would lose that apartment to the next person on the waiting list. Massive bummer, especially since no other apartment that met our criteria came up again in the remaining two months we had to move. It also became increasingly more difficult to reach the leasing office or get a return call after this incident. I'm posting a review in hope that they at least consider their practices with regard to deposits and applications, as it was very stressful and disappointing to think you were all set in the apartment search and only to find out you aren't. Update: I spoke with the property manager who called me and she is like the other office staff, very sweet and pleasant to speak with. It's essentially a corporate policy that the local office can not override that I encountered. I can only hope that the corporate office at least considers exceptions to the policy in the future for circumstances such as this. read more

I've lived here for about 3 months. Compared to other places I've lived, the soundproofing between units is good. Finishes are very nice. Had to place my first maintenance ticket for a minor issue yesterday. Walked down to the office at 4:30 on Friday afternoon. They texted maintenance and almost as soon as I walked back to my apartment (I live close to the office), Maintenance was knocking on my door. Problem resolved quickly and professionally. I, as well as other residents have emailed and filed complaints that have been completely ignored. They claim the pool is "salt water" but it smells strongly of chlorine. Other residents and myself have no recollection of regular pool maintenance and recently it has has been discolored and dirty. The chairs and umbrellas are busted and torn, and need to be replaced. Many residents do not pick up after their pets, resulting in waste-ridden grass. This complex may have been as pristine in the photos when it was first developed, but has not been maintained and is falling apart. With as much money I'm paying each month, I'd expect at least basic upkeep, but Greystone Summit is failing to do even that. SO Disappointed in this property and the Management Team. MICE are an issue in my apartment. In a matter of 3 weeks I've trapped 3. They provided the sticky traps and said they looked for entries, however have made no attempts to exterminate the outside of the building. In stead of exhausting all their resources to resolve this issue, they are trying to make it my issue. Currently making no concessions to let me out of my lease. Building 1800 has MICE, don't rent here unless you are ok with your roommates being MICE. read more
