I appreciate their politeness because as soon as you drop in at the door they greet you with a smile. They are easy to talk to and also John was nice enough to let me use the facilities before the show started. He goes the extra mile to make sure the people there are taken care of. I paid $65 per ticket (general admission), and from the moment we arrived, everything felt disorganized and careless. Even just to stand at the bar, we were forced to wait outside in the cold for over 15 minutes while the previous show wrapped--no courtesy, no staging, no communication. When we were finally let in, it somehow got worse. Instead of being seated inside the venue we paid for, we were told to sit outside. No heaters. We were instructed to grab our own chairs, which were dusty and dirty. This felt less like a comedy club and more like an afterthought. Service was a mess. Servers were visibly confused, delivering the wrong food and drinks, not knowing which orders belonged to which tables. It was chaotic and unprofessional. The sound was awful. You could barely hear the comedians, and even they acknowledged how bad the setup was. When performers are openly commenting on how much of a disaster the room is, that says everything. As we were leaving, I tried to look into the actual room we were supposed to be seated in--the one we paid for--and was told I wasn't allowed to even look inside. When I mentioned that I paid $65, the response was, "You don't need to bring that up." Why wouldn't I? That's the entire issue. For the price they're charging, this is unacceptable. I honestly can't imagine how angry I'd be if I had paid for VIP or front-row seating. This place feels like it's cutting corners at every level--operations, service, sound, and basic respect for customers. There are far better comedy clubs in LA that actually care about the audience and the performers. Save your money. Spend it literally anywhere else.

Every Sunday, they have different comedians and it's called "Chocolate Sundays". Mostly a lot of African American comedians are performing for Chocolate Sundays. They really make me laugh. It's 2 items minimum for drinks. I had the Blackberry Whiskey sour ($18), and bottled water. My friend also had the same cocktail and bottled water. Service by Sarah was great in every way! I can't comment on the food, because we had already eaten. I have had their food in the past, and it's just OK. Bar food. What do you expect? She invited me for her birthday and normally the tickets are $20 for each person. Parking is valet, $17.00. We parked outside. I HATE valet, and don't trust them from previous experiences at different places. Place is very clean, bathrooms needed attention. If you ever get the chance and the opportunity, give this place a try. You won't be disappointed. They had 2 shows. We went to the one for 9pm, since the 7pm one was already sold out. We wanted to go to the 7pm one. Oh well, it was still a fine, great outing with a friend who I hadn't seen in a long time. She doesn't like taking pictures, so we didn't take photos. Thank you Laugh Factory for your great hospitality and humorous comedians. They always deliver!

Usually only room for three chairs to a row on both sides of the theater so if you bring a friend or two you can most likely sit together as my roommate, his girlfriend and I did. Everyone was really friendly, fun and the Tarzana Boys who headlined did a great job as the MCs. There is a restroom in the backroom for before and after shows. The acoustics are pretty solid being a 25 to 30 person space. Definitely will come back and support. Solid spot for a date or just get out of the house night.

Real mad at the comedy store…read more First, we bought tickets to see Tiffany Haddish. She is an idol of mine. Her sense of humor is off the chain. But last night she was not on her game. She wasn't prepared. She wasn't funny. And she kept asking the audience if they had questions. Now I realize this is not the comedy store's fault. After all, she is a superstar. But what is their fault is that I called ahead and asked if Sunset Boulevard was open after a Watermain break. And they assure me that it was. Well, it wasn't. Which made me 45 minutes late for the show. So the Stage seats that I bought we're not available. And I was relegated to seats near the wall, where the talent was never facing me so you couldn't hear what they were saying. Their voices were muffled and you could only hear half the jokes. And that is the fault of the comedy store. They should have a better sound system that's not muffled so everybody in the audience can hear even if you're near the wall. It's so annoying to be within blocks of your target venue and still be 45 minutes late because of construction. Which they should be well aware of. So my evening was not at all pleasant. I was late for the show. The show sucked. We left halfway through.

We watched Consensual Emu Comedy Improv, at this place. It's perfect for an early dinner date night in Burbank. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, and you can even bring water bottles and sealed drinks (so they can't spill) into the venue to enjoy during the show. The comedy group was genuinely hilarious, taking prompts from the audience and turning them into a fully improvised musical comedy performance. They're incredibly creative and talented with on the spot humor. We were laughing throughout the entire show. One of my favorite moments was the impression of Teresa the Jersey Psychic woven into a skit. These performers can pull wild ideas straight out of their brains and instantly turn them into comedy gold. If you've ever been to Second City in Chicago or Vegas, or the Laugh Factory, this show is in that same spirit of fast, clever, character‑driven improv. And at only $8, it's an amazing date‑night option and a great way to support local performers. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

Although we were all technically legal adults, I still think there is something very sleazy about an authority figure in his 40s swaying 18 and 19 year old aspiring actors to perform nude with him. Of course, he tailored his messaging toward empowerment-- all bodies are great bodies, and all bodies are welcome. The reality, however, was that most of these students were recent L.A. arrivals with little working knowledge of the entertainment industry. It's hard not to recognize the power imbalances at play and potential vulnerabilities being exploited.
