It was a super expensive replacement piece (as far as glass only goes) and he gave me a 10% discount, didn't charge me for the shipping and organized the easiest pick up location for my friend (I broke my friends light while visiting) since it's over a 2 week wait from Kichler. Not thrilled with Kichler on the price of replacement parts but Don and Lighting Specialist took good care of us.

When I called, I reached someone who repeatedly said, "I only work in the showroom," but was able to check the order and told me, "It hasn't been processed yet" (read: nobody even looked at it for ten days). When I asked to be connected to the right department, I was told that person was "out of town." But the showroom person was able to cancel the order. Thankfully, this was a small purchase and not a critical part of my home remodeling project--but that's beside the point. Tip for Lighting Specialists in Utah: If you accept people's orders and money online, be prepared to process or respond to those orders within a couple of days--not 10 or more. I was there to inquire about lighting for my patio, since they carry really lovely custom lights that lend a romantic feel to any garden space. They were able to answer all my questions, and provided me with helpful tips and suggestions. While Modern Display's new store has only been open for four days now, you wouldn't know it! They're already well stocked with classy and fun Halloween, Autumn Harvest, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and other Winter decor. As part of their grand reopening, they were advertising all Fall and Halloween merchandise at 25% off, and it's ridiculously cute stuff!
