one of my best experiences with a business ever. My daughter got Invisalign and I was super surprised to see how quickly and easily it worked to move her teeth. When uniform teeth advertised to me on Instagram I booked an appointment because my lower teeth had become crowded since I got my braces off 30 years ago. At the initial appointment they did a bunch of high tech scans (higher tech than my daughter had with her Invisalign) explained the process, chatted with an orthodontist and when I got the total cost it was literally exactly half what I had paid for my daughter's Invisalign for exactly the same, if not better product. I really did think it was all too good to be true, and kept expecting there to be hidden fees or annoying things on the horizon that just never appeared. Appointments always started and ended on time (they will cancel your appointment if you are 10 minutes late out of respect for all the people who come after you). The people there all seem to be hired for their lovely demeanor. Every single person who works there in any capacity is just a pleasure. There were no hidden fees at all. The timing was exactly as they quote and my teeth are quite perfect. It's so so easy! there is slight discomfort for about the first 48 hours, and on occasion when you have a new tray for a little bit, but it's very very mild. Today was my "graduation" and I have been worried they were going to do something annoyingly festive, but The guy that was helping me asked if I wanted the graduation party (which I definitely, definitely did not) so he gave me a closing gift and sent me on my way without any likely annoying festivities. I get the feeling these guys are funded by VC or private equity and once they need to make money the cost will need to go up. It's just ridiculously affordable for what it is. So go now! read more

Visiting the Office: I recently was in the (Chicago) office to get my attachments, well, attached. The staff there was lovely as always. There was a delay while I was in the chair, but the staff was very apologetic and even though I didn't mention it at all, they offered me a small starbucks giftcard as a token. It's nice that they appreciate the time of their clients, and it's also nice to have proof that as a customer, you don't have to get rude/angry for a company to want to do something. They were proactive about it. As someone who has worked in customer service, that made me smile. That being said, it's a long drive for me to go into the office, so I appreciate that this treatment only requires three office visits spread out over a few months to complete, and the rest is completed through mail and over the app. The App: You use an app to take a picture of your teeth at the end of every set of aligners. This is so they can see that your teeth are aligning properly as you go along. There is also a chat function to easily ask questions and get a response within 24-48 hours. There is also some sort of timer system that is supposed to help you remember to put the aligners back in when you're done eating... I don't really use it. It records the amount of time you have your aligners IN, but I think it would make more sense and be more useful if instead it assumed your aligners were in and then you could record the amount of time that you had your aligners OUT. If that makes any sense. But the main point is that unless you're physically in the process of eating something, your aligners should be in lol. Also if you're not a water drinker, get ready to become one, because it's the only thing that you don't have to take your aligners out for lol. The Braces: During the first two months (no attachments), I've already seen great improvement. There is sometimes some slight pain/aching for the first day or two of the week (when I first put in a new set of aligners), but for the most part there isn't. The aligners themselves are comfortable (they feel pretty much just like your own teeth do, just slightly bigger), and they are also pretty invisible/discrete. I have had to take them off to prove to people that I was wearing them! However, now that I have the attachments on, it is more uncomfortable when I'm not wearing the aligners. Sometimes the inside of my lip gets pinched between the upper and lower. So the last 4 months will be a little more uncomfortable than the first 2. But it's not that bad, and when the aligners are in, I can't feel the attachments at all. The attachments are also somewhat noticeable visually, but again, it's really not that bad. As someone who remembers very vividly what the old metal and cement braces were like, this is still a DRASTICALLY better experience in EVERY way. And in 4 months the attachments will be gone. And since I already have the rest of my trays, I can look at the final one and see exactly where I'm going, which is pretty cool. I'll edit this review to include some before and after photos so people can see the attachments, and then I will update it again upon completion of treatment. Reviews were important to me when researching my options, so I want to pay it forward. I'll also mention that at the time of my treatment, I paid about $4,000, which, while certainly not cheap, was a reasonably competitive rate compared to other companies with similar "Invisalign" type services. read more

My experience with Uniform Teeth is such a breeze! First of all, I LOVE their clinic, so modern, unlike any other orthodontic clinic I've been to in the past. Secondly, their technology is super advanced - they use a 3D scan and a 360º x-ray. The staff is all friendly and they take good care of you. The staff is super friendly and professional. They offer a free 3D scan and X-Ray scan the first day of consultation. They evaluated my teeth and gave me a clear treatment plan. For the entire treatment, I only needed to visit the office for about 7 times, which saved me a lot of time. After every check-up appointment, I would have some adjustments and then I would receive my aligners delivered to my door. They are easy to clean and use. I had a great experience here and was very impressed from day one. A good friend of mine had had a great experience with them, with very successful results, so I figured this was the place to go. The office (I used the Sutter St location) is clean, attractive, contemporary, and comfortable. The equipment is state-of-the-art (as far as I can tell any way - I'm not an orthodontist or dentist!). The staff is genuinely friendly, helpful, very well-trained, and knowledgeable. The docs are A+ and really know their stuff - they're also very friendly, warm, and helpful. Lastly, the product lives up to the claims - my teeth alignment issue was corrected in about 16 weeks without any problems. For 4 of those weeks, I was out-of-state and had no problems with communicating via the app each week when I changed aligner trays. Then, I was out of the country for 6 weeks in the Costa Rican jungle, and still was able to communicate with them, change out my aligner trays, and make progress on my teeth aligning. During the free consultation, they promised a great deal on how they would make my teeth look perfect and how great their service is. After I made a payment, I realised it is not true. Their service is so slack. They said that they would monitor your teeth's progress by the photos you uploaded weekly to their app. The thing is no one is actually monitoring it. I have never got any reply by the photos I uploaded. After a while, I just gave up and stop doing it. Worst, they messed up with my aligners. I told them what my orthodontist told me and what we had agreed on what my aligners would look like. They just totally ignored my emails and messages. After a month, when I sent my last chasing email, finally someone replied and asked me to pay more for remaking the aligners they screwed up in the first place. How would that make any sense? All I can say is they may seem nice and friendly but what they really care about is your money.
