10/10 experience - I went to their Page St clinic for Invisalign. Very happy with the results and I have recommended this place already to friends. Things I liked: - All staff are so nice - Dr Mahood is great - Straightforward scheduling - No waiting time for appointments - Procedures are fast / efficient - Page St clinic is close to the Van Ness muni (J,K,L,M,N stop there). And one stop away from Civic Center BART station read more

I had a great experience with Invisalign at Bella Smile and would highly recommend them. From the beginning, the team was professional, welcoming and very attentive to my need. They took the time to explain the process clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and informed at every step. I always felt like my questions were taken seriously and answered thoroughly. My treatment progress was closely monitored and appointments were efficient and well-organized. I really appreciated how supportive and responsive all staff were throughout the entire process. I also liked being able to see gradual progress over time which kept me motivated. I'm slowly approaching the finish line and I feel really happy with the care I received and the results. Highly recommend Bella Smile for a smooth and stress-free experience with Invisalign. read more

Bella Smile has a very knowledgeable and respectful staff! Candace is awesome. Love my new bite.

Dr. Mahood and the team here are incredible. I've had issues with TMJ and chronic migraines, and a dentist years back had sold me an NTI mouthguard that gave me a nightmarish open bite. I had trouble pronouncing certain sounds and my TMJ had only gotten worse. Other orthodontists and dentists told me it was a lost cause, but Dr Mahood was confident that she could fix my open bite. And fix it she did! My bite feels aligned, and I'm back to speaking normally now. My confidence at work is restored :) Not to mention my TMJ has chilled out. You won't find a kinder, more competent team. This has truly been lifechanging, and I am infinitely grateful to Dr Mahood. read more

I've had the best orthodontic experience at Bella Smile. My Invisalign treatment lasted 1.5 years with 2 refinements perfecting my smile. Truly grateful for the attention to detail and care I received from Dr. Kimberly and Carlos! The best duo to guide you through this experience and leave you with a perfect smile. No more open bite, misalignment, chipped edges and stains. Love it! Thanks Mat for being a good receptionist and setting good appt reminders. read more

I had a great experience with Bella Smile throughout the entire process. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Mahood was great at explaining each step and answering any questions/concerns I had. I had braces as a child and developed an open bite in the years since when I stopped wearing my retainers. Bella Smile was able to close the bite, as well as re-align some other teeth, in roughly 8 months! This far exceeded my expections! Highly recommend. read more

One of the best customer service experiences I've had. Fantastic care, attention to detail, and perfectionism on the part of Dr. Mahood, over several years in the end, so as to get things just right. Thank you! read more

i love my new smile! The team here listened to what i wanted and were always kind and gentle. i recommend.

I've just finished 2.5 YEARS in Invisalign with Bella Smile! My case was complicated with multiple teeth extractions, -I still had baby teeth in my thirties etc. I really did a month of research and narrowed down choosing an Orthodontist to two places before trusting Dr.Mahood with planning my treatment. I chose Bella smile because when I I met Dr.Mahood I felt it was the right choice -her professional caring persona , and the treatment plan was explained very well. She had confidence she could treat me , other places did not seem as confident (again mine was complicated) . Couldn't be more pleased with my experience - the entire team Dr.Mahood, Carlos,Candace and Matthew/Chloe at reception were all very organised ,responsive and always so helpful! Even to point of when I was popping in on an emergency appt ( when I realised my trays rubbing minutes before I was leaving town on a 3 day mountaineering trip - they fixed me right away!) . Dr.Mahood answered with great patience all my many questions before starting treatment . She also thoughtfully phoned me to check on me when I got in a bike accident and thought I'd broken my Invisalign. Every visit was pleasant ( I'll actually miss these visits, it becomes such a routine!) and it was little things that added up- Dr.Mahood cleaned stains off my teeth with such attention to detail , they always offered bands and wax every time (and even posted out to my home when I ran low) , Candice/Carlos always encouraged my progress and were very personable . It felt like everyone genuinely enjoys working there. I never felt rushed with practicing with my bands in-visit. I had 3 refinements and my trays always came in on time , there were no real hiccups at all looking back on my 2.5 year experience ( and when I finished everyone congratulated me so warmly and I got to bang a gong haha - nice way to end the whole experience!! Thank you Dr.Mahood, Carlos,Candace,Matthew and everyone at Page Street Bella Smile ! All my teeth are in the right place now ! So grateful for my experience here ! read more

Bella Smile - Finished Invisalign Sept 19th 2023 - Orthodontists Near Me - San Francisco, California

Bella Smile has changed my life. I had an open bite and cross bite for years. I had several consultations on my bite from orthodontists and surgeons in many states. I was constantly told I would need metal braces and reconstructive jaw surgery which still had a high chance of relapse and my bite could open once again. Terrified of this extremely invasive surgery, I decided to search high and low for an orthodontist who could possibly help my bite with Invisalign alone. When i first reached out to Bella Smile, I knew they had a history of fixing open bites with Invisalign but I only expected to straighten my teeth a bit and hopefully have some slight closure, I never expected my bite to close fully. It wasn't until my first appointment that they assured me my bite would be closed fully. 14 months later and nothing but Invisalign trays and rubber bands, my bite was fully closed and my teeth were perfect. It has now been 1 full year since my treatment concluded and I have no signs of relapse and my bite has stayed closed. The "after" photo in my review was taken at my 1 year check up. Dr. Mahood and Dr. Shen Garnett are true experts in their field and have completely changed my life, my confidence and my smile. I am constantly getting compliments on my smile and my TMJ has nearly gone away. I will forever be indebted to these two. read more

TL;DR -- The BEST SF Invisalign provider I highly recommend Bella Smile for Invisalign. Their doctors & office team offered me the highest level of service during my treatment and I so appreciated how easy they made the entire process. I worked almost exclusively with Dr. Mahood for my treatment and always felt I was in the best of hands. Dr. Mahood listened to all of my concerns and expectations for my smile and really delivered. Their Page office is a pleasure to be and I always looked forward to my appointments. Special shoutout to Candace for her extra attention in explaining all the little details. I can echo every positive review, the entire team is absolutely fantastic. What stood out to me most from the very beginning was the level of kindness you're received with every visit. My dentist had referred me to a practice located downtown but I left that consultation with questions and hesitations so I started searching and am SO happy I found Bella Smile. My consultation with Dr. Mahood instantly put me at ease & Candace (total gem) talked me through the entire treatment so effectively. She shared her own experience with using Invisalign, informed me of what to expect and answered all of my questions with complete honesty and patience. They made me realize how uninviting the previous ortho practice I had been to was. Needless to say, my experience over the past year of treatment has been beyond A+. Very grateful to Dr. Mahood & every member of the team, lovely people helping create lovely smiles. Highly recommend! :) read more

Bella Smile is the best place you can get Invisalign. The whole office is extremely clean and modern. I started Invisalign during Covid and the office took exceptional safety precautions to make me feel safe. In terms of the Invisalign experience, everything was great from my initial consultation to my final retainer fitting. The whole process is top notch and a luxurious experience. It's a weird phrase to say about a dental office, however, that's the best way to explain it. They give you everything you need, from beginning to end. You get the best quality accessories, original Invisalign trays, and the final Invisalign retainer. You can request as many rubber bands and wax as you need. The entire experience was great, I've heard of so many other places nickel and diming, this is definitely not. On to the staff. Everyone from the front office to the doctors are amazing people. Scheduling is so effortless, and filing my insurance claim was a breeze. I started with Dr. Bella and due to scheduling, I was transferred to Dr. Mahood. Both were amazing to work with and I felt my concerns were heard and addressed. I searched over 20+ other Invisalign providers, went to 5 consultations, and read hundreds of reviews before selecting Bella Smile. I would highly recommend anyone looking for Invisalign to search no further. Bella Smile is the place to go to. They have the academic credentials, they have the Invisalign credentials, and they are one of the highest rated Invisalign providers on Yelp. read more

I discovered Bella Smile through some friends who had used her services for their Invisalign in SF. They all raved about her practice, her staff and her office. I decided to check out for myself what all the fuss was about. I didn't think I needed Invisalign b/c I thought my teeth were okay, despite some mild crowding. What I didn't realize that was that crowding would likely lead to more plaque buildup and possibly gum issues. My challenge is that I didn't want to go through the normal length of time to do Invisalign so thank god I found Bella Smile! Both Dr. Garnett and Dr. Mahood helped fix my crowding and overbite over the course of 9 months (shaving off 1/3 of the time with the Prolon process) I will admit that this whole process was very daunting as I wasn't sure about how to manage the trays, the cleaning solutions, and just living with it day to day, but the entire staff was always helpful whenever I had questions, and if there were ever any last minute issues. I inadvertently lost one of the hooks on my teeth and Dr. Garnett's staff was super accommodating me and seeing me inpatient same day to help me solve my problem. The whole team, from the front desk to Dr. Garnett and Dr. Mahood provide a deep level of attention and patient care that I have not seen in an of the other doctor offices I have on my roster (and I have a lot of doctors I see). I would highly recommend Bella Smile for both adults, teenagers and children. As a note, I visited both the Page and Laurel offices so putting my feedback on both offices. read more

Phenomenal care and experience!! 100% recommend. - I initially heard about Bella Smile from a friend who also received care from here. They had nothing but good things to say. - My first visit was complimentary to provide estimates. I shopped around to verify that the prices were fair. Bella Smile provided a faster timeline (by 3 months or so). - My initial timeline was expected to be between 6 months and 12 months. I finished in 10 months. My bottom teeth were crowded in enough to bother my tongue, and my back molars were completely offset from the rest of my teeth. The bottom front teeth were difficult to move, but Bella Smile managed it in record time! - I paid up front and got a 5% discount as well as the orthodontic accelerator for free (~$600 value). - All of the staff (dentists, assistants, receptionists) were phenomenal. They would explain what they were doing and do it extremely well and comfortably. - In total, I went through 3 sets of trays (13, 13, 10), and they were accelerated to 1 week each. It was about 2-3 weeks between trays. - Each appointment was easy to remember (they'd text and send an email confirmation). Fantastic communication and easy to reschedule as needed (especially with travels). read more

Amazing results! I visited several places that told me my bite was too complicated and required surgery. Then I came to Bella Smile, where I quickly received an excellent quote and a clear treatment plan. The results exceeded my expectations--my teeth were straightened, and my bite was corrected. Throughout the entire process, the doctors made sure I felt comfortable and well-cared for. I highly recommend Bella Smile! read more

Bella Smile is by far the best orthodontists experience I've ever had. The entire staff is always extremely helpful and welcoming. This office also seems to use very new Ortho technology such as 3D scanning your mouth to get the best fit for invisalign treatment. On top of that it is always extremely clean. I had an extreme open bite that other orthodontist said I would need to break my jaw and receive jaw surgery (something I really didn't want to do). However, Dr. Mahood said that she could fix my bite with invisalign treatment. She did exactly that, I now have a perfect bite and smile! Something I haven't had my entire life. The team really did change my life for the better and I am forever thankful for everything they have done. I would give this place 6 stars if that was possible. read more

Last Tuesday was my last day having treatment with Bella Smile on Page Street. I went to Bella Smile for Invisalign who was recommended to me by my awesome dentist Dr. Greg Chong. I started Invisalign in February of 2021 and finished March of 2022. I will continue my treatment with Bella Smile after my implants are done in a couple of months. All the staff at Bella Smile on Page are always very helpful. Mathew the receptionists would always great you with a big smile and makes your scheduling your appointment easy. All the dental assistants are very gentle and helpful, shout out to Angie and Candice. And finally I can't thank Dr. Kimberly Mahood enough for taking care of my teeth and always patiently answering all of my questions and willing to explain in detail and then calling my husband to explain more ( sorry my English is not my first language ) to avoid any misunderstanding. Yes, I'm definitely recommending Bella Smile if you are looking for Invisalign treatment. BTW....they are Rated VIP: Diamond Plus on the Invisalign website so they are pros! Thank you Dr. Kim and all the Bella Smile staff. I'll see you soon for my next treatment! read more

Consultation and everything leading up to the final message from Dr. Mahood went really well. They observed and pointed out issues with my bite that I tried to express to previous orthodontists who didn't see it. So that gave me some hope that they could give me a normal bite again. They requested my previous records from past orthodontic work so they can see the changes. When I sent them my records I received the disappointing news. First, they couldn't see it all bc the files were too big. I offered to come by in person to show them all of it and explain in detail what I went through. That was glossed over. I was told that they didn't feel like they could do better than what I had in the photos.... forgetting that what I have now is NOT what I had in the photos--very far from it actually--and that my goal was to revert my teeth arrangement as closely to the way were before so I could bite normal again. I paid $275 for a second opinion fee, was led to believe they understood my bite complications during the consultation, only to be told that my teeth in the photos from 1-3 years ago (which are not how they are now) already look really good. I'm sad that they are ranked the 2nd best orthodontist in the bay area. It's for a reason i'm sure. But i threw my money into this window for nothing. read more

I had a great first experience with Bella Smile! Dr. Kimberly Mahood and Candice are currently taking care of me with my Invisalign's. I had braces wen young but afterwards I was horrible at wearing my retainers. As I got older my teeth shifted undoing all the work that was done. I was nervous I wouldn't have a timeline or budget. But that was not the case, it turns out there are many different tiers of Invisalign's and I was able to chose something that fit what I was looking for. Bella Smiles has my highest regard. I am currently being treated for severe crowding and overbite with Invisalign. Before coming to Bella Smiles, I was told that I would need to remove four teeth before starting traditional braces and that I would not be a suitable candidate for Invisalign. Bella Smiles was sure to prove them wrong though. Prior to coming to Bella Smiles, the dentist chair was my greatest fear. Since coming here, I have overcome that fear entirely and that is all thanks to the amazing folks here at Bella Smiles. I've been coming here for close to 2 years, and every appointment has been better than the last. Everyone here makes you feel so welcomed, and all of the amenities of the office are pristine. The staff at Bella Smiles are unparalleled. I have the pleasure of being treated by Dr.Mahood with the assistance of Candace and Tuesday. Getting to chat with Candance or Tuesday is always the highlight of my trip. Each appointment is treated with such care, assurance, and personality. Dr.Mahood truly goes above and beyond when it comes to patient care. I look forward to my appointments at Bella Smiles because they make you feel like so much more than a patient. Every time that I've visited, which are months apart at times, my wonderful patient team has remembered so many things about me and our previous conversations. Aside from their wonderful soft skills, the staff as Bella Smiles possess superior technical skills as well. During treatments, Dr.Mahood takes great care and patience to consistently check-in with me to ensure my comfort. There has not been a single moment that I can recall where Dr.Mahood has ever caused me discomfort or pain during treatment. This is coming from someone who has received many IPR (to create space between teeth) treatments and Propel(accelerated orthodontics). In conclusion, Bella Smiles should be everyone's #1 choice when one decides to pursue a better smile. read more

This is the best Invisalign Diamond Platinum provider in SF. You must come here. Why am I so confident? A couple of work friends and I happened to all get Invisalign at the same time, and we've been comparing notes. I'm almost done with my comprehensive Invisalign under the care of Dr Mahood and her amazing team at Bella Smile, and with my second refinement on the way, I feel 100% confident in saying that I've gotten the best care, hands down. First off, they give you all the things you need to succeed the entire treatment through. Wax, elastics, extra cases for your trays, floss, chewies, tools to pull your stubborn elastics into place, spare toothbrushes, a fancy zip-up bag to store all this Invisalign swag. I didn't realize this wasn't the norm until a friend on Invisalign (through another provider) asked me where I bought my wax and elastics and if she could borrow some at work! Secondly, Dr Mahood is the most patient orthodontist I've ever met. She sits and answers all my dumb questions, addresses all my ridiculous concerns, and then STILL asks me in the kindest way at the end of every appointment if there's anything else I want to talk about. SHE'S THE BEE'S KNEES. Third, the entire Bella Smile team--from amazing Chloe at reception to the many kind dental assistants who've taught me how to wear elastics--have been nothing but helpful, accommodating, and encouraging this whole year I've been on treatment. Fourth, the appointments are super easy to make and I've never felt rushed during any of them. And the office is really clean and modern and my appointments have always been on time and not behind schedule as many dentists and orthos run. Fifth, the pricing is extremely competitive here at Bella Smile--despite all the amenities and what feels like extra care they provide. A friend on Invisalign Lite (also in SF) was basically quoted (and paid) the same price I did for my Invisalign Comprehensive. Sixth, I'm about to start my second round of refinements and Dr Mahood has been as patient and attentive as she ever was. Her meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful care of my teeth and in fixing my stubborn bite and midline have been nothing short of flawless. I wish all doctors were like her. Finally, where else but at Bella Smile can you watch Fresh Prince reruns at 9am on the ceiling TVs (earphones available) as you have your alignment checked? read more
