Each level has different elements. There's stairs, as well as an elevator to access all levels. Prices seem reasonable for the things that they offer. Everything is well kept and in protective sleeves, etc to preserve it from getting worn. Every employee was pleasant and friendly. Not sure about parking as we walked. But, it's super close to the Heinz History Center so could easily walk from there. Well worth a visit!!

I've been a patron since the squirrel hill days when I was in grade school and I was always talked down to then and now. I highly recommend to Avoid record store day at eides because they don't like selling you vinyl because you go there one day a year or 2. You have to be a constant customer for them to sell you vinyl you want. They hold vinyl for people their friends and staff. I came to pick up vinyl one time I ordered and they sold it to their staff. If you're not a regular don't count on getting what u want. You can't carry records and look around you have to buy them right away or they will take them back and sell to their friends. Even if you went for years and spent $100s of dollars it means absolutely nothing. I would find a new place to go where the workers actually talk to you and let you browse and treat you like a customer should. Other people go once a year but for some reason I'm. Always singled out and I spend the most money there on record store day. I can't help the fact that I have a terminal illness and trying to get disability and I still get treated like shit. They know I have physical and financial limitations but that's always ignored. It's money money money. If they don't stop treating customers like shit especially a customer from the 1980s I'm done buying anything there. I get enough horrible things that happen to me outside of eides. If you have a question if you call them they don't like they will hang up on you. The store is struggling enough but they chose to do things that will close this store sooner than later. The customer does not come first! They actually took records I was buying from me and fold them to their staff! Who does that! If you browse with records in your hand they get mad and ask you put them back so other people can buy them! Wow talk about rude! I was waiting for money to be deposited in my account and they were so mad becsuse they wanted their money then and now when I was buying like $400 worth of music!

A small hobby shop just outside the heart of Robinson…read more Mostly focuses on collectible trading card games but offers some books (trade paper backs, manga, mostly silver age coward comics), hero-clix, D&D accessories, and other collectibles like pop-funko. The store seems to always be going though an identify crisis, which often seems to hinder the growth that should have happened already. That always disappoints me as I really think that there is a solid core to this store. The owner, while not always business savvy, is one of the nicest, most genuine people you'll ever meet. Always jovial, kind, and will go out of your way to do something for you, but this seems to always lead to the guy being taken advantage of. The selection overall seems to be pretty average. Not a fan of the cards NOT being displayed in the display cases, but the kiosk in the front of the store will be satisfactory for now. I would really like them to bring back the binders and for them to utilize the display cases again in the future. It is also painfully apparent that they've outgrown the current store quite a while ago. I do surely hope they're able to move into a larger store in the near future. Overall it could be a lot worse. The store has the privilege of being in Robinson, but doesn't seem to always utilize the position they're in. I hope they can expand in the future so that I may update the stores progress then.

It used to be extremely isolationist and the employees would actively push you to not buying anything and leaving asap as you've probably interrupted their D&D or MTG game by shopping. Their selection was nearly illogically lacking, such as 1 of 5 core books being the only available or simply not getting any new or desired items. Yet the ccgs seem to be enough to have allowed them to move and grow They're worth the 2nd chance even though they may have seriously offended you, which is why no one I know, (40yr of CCG ttrpg friends and experience and friends), will ship there. The employees would start fights rather than actually help. But I have not seen that since they moved. They sell books via their physical store but also post stacks of books and you can claim them. The owner is very sweet and even works with you if it takes awhile for you to get to the store. Honestly, I love this. It helps to show the stock and then I go in already knowing what I need/want. Also in the area you can get a nice little bubble tea so you can have something to sip on while you peruse the bookshelves. They do have events also in the space. With a vast selection of mostly used and some newer popular fiction (all at an amazing discounted price), there is surely something for everyone! There are so many unique finds here. She puts so much work into buying books for the store. She has even acquired rare first editions of Sarah J. Maas books, and I was lucky enough to snag one of them! You can sell books to her as well, just keep an eye out for when she's buying!
