This comics shop is small and unassuming, but it's a gem. The place is like my bar. I'll go there…read moreto pick up my monthly books and end up staying over an hour talking to Lou, the owner, and the other patrons about anything and everything. If you're a collector of current, single-issue comics, that is this store's specialty, but if you want graphic novels or collectibles, you can still order those too. Lou is extremely knowledgeable. He has rarely recommended a book to me that I haven't enjoyed, and he won't steer you in the direction of bad books just to make a sale. Just make sure you have cash in your wallet before you go though, because this store is cash only.

I am from…read moreanother part of town and was thrilled to find a comic store for family members that I need gifts for and will be stopping by again and again. The store is very cheerful and well stocked with amazing finds and very kind staff. What blew me away was when we were late finishing our wine tour and reviewing the businesses on our list to win a prize we noticed one of our friends missed getting a signature from Big Bang (we all kept getting sidetracked with laughing throughout the night) but this friend had definitely gone. Two of the employees (not sure if owners) from the store were walking on the street and heard us and stopped and said they could help us. We then were fumbling for our pen forever and they patiently waited and were happy to chat with us. We were past the end of the event and their business was closed (they were already down the street walking), but overheard and offered to help. I will never forget their kindness and look forward to regularly traveling from my end of town in Mt. Lebanon to theirs for some great comic books.
