This comics shop is small and unassuming, but it's a gem. The place is like my bar. I'll go there…read moreto pick up my monthly books and end up staying over an hour talking to Lou, the owner, and the other patrons about anything and everything. If you're a collector of current, single-issue comics, that is this store's specialty, but if you want graphic novels or collectibles, you can still order those too. Lou is extremely knowledgeable. He has rarely recommended a book to me that I haven't enjoyed, and he won't steer you in the direction of bad books just to make a sale. Just make sure you have cash in your wallet before you go though, because this store is cash only.

Tony & Bill are a pleasure to chat with when I'm in the new location. Fair prices and something for everyone. Geekadrome held my money until today 5/29/2025 in which they just canceled my preorder. They had over $1000 dollar of my money that they held for over 3 months and I suspect they canceled my order to resell at market price. I trusted them with my purchase and now I am no longer able to order either at a decent price when I had the opportunity to purchase both back in February. Do not do business with Geekadrome!

This place is selling Limited Pack World Championship 2025 for $60. TCG has it at $39, and all the…read morelast sales are below $40. But I really did want this, as they are fairly rare to come across in person. I would have been willing to pay $50 a box, but the employee told me there was absolutely no wiggle room. When I told him the value of these is always less than $40, i was told that "Yeah but when they came out they were going for more" Product will always go up and down, these guys have no problem when it goes up. But if it goes down, they wont change their sticker price and are unwilling to accommodate. They would rather (maybe eventually) scam their own customers.

We love to go to Half Price Books locations and see what titles are in our favorite sections and if our favorite authors have any gems sitting on a shelf. This location is tucked in a lower level of the plaza with ample parking because of the lack of stores on this side. The store is definitely kept up to date with fall displays at the front to celebrate the season. They had plenty of staff and were able to take care of us quickly when we were ready to checkout.
