They leverage, tools and technology to deliver high quality and timely service. They take pictures and videos of everything and include those in a report that is easy to read and understand and are always available for a phone call. For those intimidated by mechanics, this place is for you, they won't make you feel rushed and there are no stupid questions. More importantly, they are honest, and I have experienced this first hand with a warranty issue with previously replaced (by them) shocks. When I mentioned that the shocks were just replaced on my last visit after they had reported to me that they were leaking, they immediately took ownership and covered it under warranty, no questions asked. Their prices are a bit higher than other mechanics in the area, but if you value quality over cheap price tag, you will not have an issue with it. Over all, The Mechanic OC has been a great experience and I take all 3 of my vehicles there for maintenance/repair. I highly recommend them!

If you own a Mercedes then skip getting ripped off at the dealership and go see Nick!…read more I got pricing from local Mercedes-Benz dealership which I thought was high and then I gave Nick a call. We talked through the pricing and everything was beating what I was quoted from the dealership. First thing I noticed when I walked into their business was all his family photos. It's nice to talk with someone on a personal level and not feel like a number like I do at the MB dealership. I got a service in which Nick beat the quoted price from the dealership. I was having some brake issues and knew that I needed new pads and possibly new rotors. Nick was very honest and let me know that only my front pads needed to be changed and that my back pads still had more use ahead. He also let know my rotors were good so no need to change. I will be bringing my car back to Nick moving forward.

The transmission specialist at the other shop said they needed to take it out to find out what the problem is, and needed to charge a huge diagnostic fee. Over that time, he's handled oil changes, brake jobs, air and cabin filter replacements, and even some minor electrical repairs. What stands out most is his honesty, knowledge, and attitude. He always takes the time to explain what's needed, never tries to upsell unnecessary work, and genuinely seems to care about doing the job right. When I needed brakes on my Tucson, the parts and labor were significantly less expensive than another shop I had used before, and the quality was actually better. Recently, I purchased a Mercedes-AMG C63, and before buying it, I trusted Adel to give me an honest opinion on whether it was a good car to purchase. That level of trust says a lot. After I bought it, he handled the oil change and brakes for a fraction of what the dealership would have charged. I haven't had any major repairs done there yet, so I can't speak to that personally, but based on my experience over the last three years, I wouldn't hesitate to trust V-Tech Automotive with bigger jobs if they came up. If you're looking for an honest, knowledgeable mechanic who does quality work at fair prices, I highly recommend Adel and V-Tech Automotive.
