No Customer Service Skills! Stopped by this place after finding a match for the Lexus (LS460) we'd been searching for. No one came out to greet us, so we walked the lot and saw the vehicle we were inquiring about. Went inside and a "salesperson" got the keys for the vehicle, no introduction of himself or anything. As we were walking outside he asked how soon we were looking to buy, we relied today. He asked if we were financing and we told him no. Went to test drive the vehicle and it stunk of cigarette smoke, so we decline to test drive it. Asked if we could test drive the 2012 LS460, the salesperson walks over and reads the details, of which we'd done while walking the lot earlier, and he begins to ask us if we were serious about buying because they close at 7. He then proceed to show us his Apple watch and tells us it's 7:20 and he's been at work all day, then proceed to kick the tires and tell us people come here all day just to do that, and he's been a salesman for 19 years! Now, we told him earlier that we weren't financing and wanted to buy today, so why keep asking us the same questions? He was beyond rude and if they were already closed, why were the gates still open? We decided to leave and smiled on the way out knowing they missed out on a cash sale. I had the worst experience with this place. Between me and my family members we have purchased 3 cars from this place since 2017. The staff is all new...salesman, finance manager AND HORRIBLE!! Here is how my most recent experience went: 1. The salesman was the worst I ever dealt with Thanks Robert! Even when I spoke to him on the phone!! This was the worst salesman i ever dealt with. 2. I was approved..but turned down the deal because it was a bad deal. The next day I called and spoke with the finance manager Hugh. I did not ask him for a better deal just to see how much was being financed, my trade in value etc. My plan was to go to my bank to see if I could get a better deal and still purchase the car. Well Hugh says ok let me check on it and i will call you back, well this was Wednesday, and as of today I have no call back from him and I have left him multiple messages. I am not sure if they were trying to shit me because I am a woman or not, but that's what it looks like! Why else would they refuse to provide me with the amounts??? First time I have ever had a negative experience buying a car, should have checked their reviews before going here! It wasn't just one issue we had, it was MULTIPLE! Do not go here. It is a very unprofessional business. They broke a part off my car when they sent it to detail, I had to call for a MONTH straight to get someone to finally mail me the part. The finance manager called my husband even though the car we bought was for me, and offered him her CELL number to TEXT additional paperwork they needed. My husband told her no he didn't want her cell number and we would EMAIL the additional paperwork they needed. When I picked up my license plate from the clerks office they informed me Import Auto Brokers overcharged me $365.00 on my tax title & license, they said they would mail the check to Import who would in turn then issue me a check. I waited 2 weeks and then called Import to make sure they had sent me my check, they lied and said they know nothing about it and never received a check. I faxed a copy the clerks office gave me and hmm what do ya know all of a sudden they said yes they did receive the check but they sent it to our lender. Our lender said they never received a check from them!!!!! Please beware and stay away from this place read more

I was looking at a purchasing a vehicle from this dealership and wanted to warn anyone before they conduct business with them. I was directly lied to about the condition of a vehicle, its mechanical needs and paint condition. The individuals I spoke with told me the vehicle was in great working order and didn't need anything and that there was no paint work on the vehicle. Come to find out that this dealership doesn't even get their vehicles safety inspected because "its not required by GA law". I was specifically told by their sales manager that "cars down here can drive sideways". My response is that if you want to be a reputable dealer selling to the public you should at least have your vehicles checked to make sure they are safe to drive on the road. After having them bring the vehicle to a local dealership, come to find out the vehicle has paint work, the control arm bushings are shot, the oil pan gasket needs replaced, tires needed to be replaced immediately and there was even a headlight out. Repair bill was roughly $1000 to fix, not including tires. Wanting to give them an opportunity to make the situation right, I asked that they pay for everything except the tires. The sales manager said they could pay half, but would ask the manager the following day to cover all of the repairs to make the vehicle legal to drive. He called me the next day and now says the would only be willing to pay for $350 of all charges. I would caution anyone that is going to consider purchasing a vehicle from them to absolutely have a 3rd party check it out. IAB is exactly why used car dealers have the reputation of sleazy liars . IAB practices range from deceptive advertising, outright lying, failing to meet their commitment and just plain lack of integrity. After test driving a vehicle I liked, I was told that they would work with me if the car failed inspection due to major issues. Because of this commitment, I had it inspected by a local dealer and was informed the car had approx $1300 worth of repairs needed. When I discussed this with IAB, they basically told me to take a hike after making a good faith offer. I offered the asking price but asked them to handle a couple of minor items which they earlier said they would handle. I started leaving when another one of their staff promised to intervene and work out something. They dragged it out for a week, making excuses why they could not even get me a second key as a compromise since the vehicle only came with one. In the meanwhile, they re-advertised, marking it up one thousand higher - all while they kept telling me they were trying to work with me. They had no intention of doing so. They kept making excuses not being able to meet their commitment because they could not get the parts at the cost they would need to. Is this the kind of place you want to plunk down thousands of dollars on? After being jerked around for nearly a week, I took my business elsewhere. After speaking to another customer as I left the lot on my last visit, this is what I surmised. They buy the cars at auctions and do absolutely nothing in screening the cars past cosmetic defects. In other words, the cars may look great but the don't give a darn how they are mechanically. Then they advertise low prices to lure you in. Once the customer pays for an inspection because s/he feels the car is a good buy, more often than not, finds a series of issues. Then they they refuse to negotiate in good faith taking into account the neglected repairs that any reputable dealer would take care of. Then after having an unsuspecting customer eat the mechanical inspection, they jack up the price of the car so a future buyer thinks they have negotiated a good deal. They have done this with three different cars last week that I am aware of. I know well that dealers have no obligation to address issues arising from an inspection. The issue is that they LIE and inform you that they would work it out with you. A reputable dealer's word is usually enough but please get it in writing if you insist on giving business with this outfit. If they hesitate - then remember my experience and run. Atlanta has zero shortage of dealers so do yourself a favor and don't be fooled by an average overall score of these liars. They usually respond to criticism with some broken English gibberish and rate themselves highly which negates true reviewers. Learn from my experience and skip this outfit. Overall, my experience was a positive one. Moon was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly throughout the process. As a first time car buyer, I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of the process and would recommend requesting Moon as your sales rep when visiting. My only gripe in my overall experience was a lack of follow through by Fred who advised the car would have been detailed for me however once I picked it up the interior had not been touched. Unfortunate to end our acquaintance on such a sour note, however Moon's outstanding service outshined the negative in the end. read more

HORRIBLE! SCAM ARTISTS!!!! Never been so disrespected in my life. Bald guy that works with the financing was who we were dealing with. I bought a used infinity m35 for like $12,000 form them that ended up being like $15,000 after everything. I got it financed and was making payments. When I got it it had almost 118k miles on it. I decided I couldn't afford the insurance on it so I wanted them to buy it back from me. When i brought it back to them the mileage was at 126k. All of a sudden that $15,000 car was only worth $7,000. I owed $9,000 left on the car. The guy was very rude and disrespectful. He said I dogged the car out and I did not. He said there was transmission lights showing up on the code reader that was "supposedly" not visible on the dash now. And he tried to say he wasn't gonna give me the $7,000 for it that he would only give me $6,000 but another guy stepped in and said, no, give her the $7,000 cause she bought the car from us... I will NEVER go back to that miserable place again. They are HORRIBLE. read more

Run away from this used car dealer. They did not disclose body work they had done on the vehicle until I had a certified dealer check the vehicle. They also tried to repair the worn brakes with aftermarket parts that did not fit the vehcile causing even more brake damage that I was left to have fixed at my own expense and the did NOT cover under their own warranty that still exists on the vehicle. Hidden/shady work and they will not live up to their warranty. Good selling prices but a ton of hidden expenses for things you won't discover until later. My factory dealer said that Import's reputation is not good around the Atlanta factory dealer world. Stay away. read more

BEWARE!!! I bought a car and in less than 60 day it left me walking and not for something small it turns out I need an entire NEW ENGINE. This happen out of state of course so I called to see if someone could work with me. They tried to play the they feel sorry for me card but I honestly do not think they really do. I was told on several occasions that the owner would call me. I was told I would get calls back but I always had to call them. They are on the USAA car buying list however they are not a good representation of them at all!! This has been the worst purchase of my life!!! They told me they had no idea there was an issue but everyone that has looked at the car has told me something was done to it before I bought it also was told that the oil was changed before I bought it and that was a lie! They did tow the car here for me but never gave me a quote like they promised after asking several times! Guess they think I will keep paying on a car that I cannot do anything with. It is so broken that the bank will not take it back or repo it. They also would not trade it in at all! Believe what you want but I would not ever buy anything from them because they do not give two shits about their customers! I purchased a car in October and within the first week the breaks were squeaking and the a light came on asking for a quart of oil to be added as soon as possible. I immediately called back to notify them, and Joshua made an appointment for me to come in. He had the car checked by the repair shop they work with as well as drove the car claiming he didn't hear any squeaking, and maybe it was all in my head. He also had the repair shop confirm that they did not see any issue with breaks, and the oil was fine it just needed to be topped off, which I found weird since Joshua claimed the car just had a oil change, new brakes and tires put on right when I bought it. I spoke to the new manager, Mike Walley who apologized and gave me his direct number to contact him if I had any other issues that I could bring the car back and they would take care of it. He thought the breaks might be squeaking because they were new and I needed to drive the car a little more. About a month later the car asked for another quart of oil, and breaks still squeaking. A few days later the engine light came on. I called the manager Mike and could not get him. I called the dealership back asking for Mike but was told he's no longer there, and Bobby was the new manager but had just stepped out. (Bobby is the third manager since I purchased the car in just a couple of months). Cindy took a message, but he didn't call back. A few days later I called and heard the same response "he stepped out". I requested that they go and get him because I had been waiting for a call back and never received one. When finally speaking to him, he told me that the car was purchased used and that's what I have the warranty for, so I need to take it to a dealership and use my warranty. I explained that I had only made one car payment at the time and should not be having so many problems, nor should I have to pay anything out of pocket at all, since all of these issues were happening from the time I purchased the car, and the lay manager promised he would take care of any problems I had with the car. He said he was sorry and there was nothing he could do directing me back to the warranty. I took my car to the BMW dealership and they ended up finding $13,000 worth of problems with the car, from leaking valves to warped rotors and brakes. While my car was at BMW for the first week they did not have a loaner for me and my fiancé who has cancer had to go to the dr in a cab, even after I was promised a loaner. I called Import Auto back and again Bobby apologized and said the warranty should take care of it. Well obviously warranty doesn't cover breaks, so I asked if they could at least take care of fixing the breaks and somehow compensate me for the deductible I would have to pay for the claim. Bobby told me he would reach out to the owner to see how they could help. He called me back saying the owner "Joe" would not be able to help and I need to use the warranty that I purchased. Clearly they didn't care at all. I explained I couldn't pay $1200 for brakes and 100 deductible, as I only have one household income due to my fiancé having Cancer. He apologized saying there was nothing he could do. I asked him to have Joe call me directly but he said he wasn't sure Joe would do that, but he would relay the message. Of course Joe never called me. I followed up with the warranty to find out this week that the repairs are not covered under warranty. I called Import Auto back to speak to Bobby, and of course "he had just stepped out". I am beyond pissed, and it bothers me know Joshua lied to me from day one telling me the car was like brand new and I would only need to maintain the maintenance and nothing else. Obviously they sold me a lemon and now don't want to be responsible. I traded in a 2016 Nissan Rogue with NO issues, but now have a 30,000 BMW 750 LI Hybrid, which is a piece of junk. I live in Alabama and purchased a vehicle from IAM. Rather than allowing me to pay the sales tax and registration fee directly to Alabama they insisted that I pay IAM and that they would do it for me. The amount they charged me and that I paid totaled $904.79 for these two items. When I went to pick up my plates in Alabama the sales tax and registration fee only came to $637.46. I have requested a refund of $267.33 over payment I made to IAM on two occasions via email and they have yet to take time to respond. read more

Where do I start? This dealership is all about pushing cars off the lot. This dealership does not want to deal with educated customers. We initially arranged to have the car inspected prior to purchase, keep in mind this was arranged by appointment so all knew of this. But the supervisor, Doug, who saw me waiting, allowed someone else to buy the car. I understand business, but I carved out time, appointment was made, etc. but we asked too many questions. It seemed shady when the salesman called to tell us that there may be problems with the car once we made an appointment for an outside inspection, but prior to that, we were told the car was a great find, all is good with it. Initially I was offended that they would handle business like this, but now see it as a fortunate thing. We realized it is best to deal with a REPUTABLE dealership and that's what we did. I drove to Atlanta to pick up a car and they had listed it with many many options that it did not have then when I informed them of the issue they told me I could just accept it or go home. I also noticed an issue when test driving the car. They said to wait 30 days to claim it on my insurance that I bought through them (which is the worst insurance ever according to the BMW dealership). They told me that if the insurance didn't pay for it then they would cover it. This was obviously a ploy just to get me to buy the car. The insurance company did not pay for it and now they are refusing to pay for it. This company is a scam and unprofessional. Import Auto Brokers in Marietta, GA, has not honored their own contract. It clearly states in the purchase contract that they will pay me $150., for brakes and provide me with a spare tire for a Lexus 430 SC I purchased over Memorial Day. I flew in from KC, after being told the car had just been inspected by prospective buyers and "passed with flying colors". I am retired from a 25 year career in law enforcement. I could tell it needed brakes although Mamawdi stated it was just because they were wet. I delayed my departure an additional day while they tried to get their mechanics to fix the brakes to no avail. I also was told the hard top convertible was in working order. Long story short, they could not get the brakes repaired the next day. I come home, have the car inspected and learn it needs new tires to pass inspection. $1,200.+, right there. The roof does not work week ONE! Over $3,300, out of my savings. I've spent all summer haggling with various individuals on the phone, never receiving return calls from management, Shayna, or the owner, Joseph Janini. I've been to Judge Judy with a case that spoke for itself, much like this one. Import Auto Brokers believe because I'm a female, and out of state they can take advantage of me! They have selected the wrong individual. I made some lovely friends while visiting beautiful ATL, and will come back to ensure they are held accountable for their actions. I gave them substantial time, until my birthday in October. I now have purchased my spare tire, and will have the proper paperwork to proceed with my law suit. I'm sure Joseph Janini and Import Auto Brokers are no strangers to litigation with this behavior. They were not honest with me and took advantage of an individual that has spent her life in public service. I'll be seeing someone in court, not that they really care. I found a car listed on auto trader by Import Auto Brokers that I liked a lot. I did my research on the vehicle and read almost every review written about the company on auto trader's website. There was a majority of the ratings were very poor, but I went to the dealership deciding to give them the benefit of the doubt. I went and saw the car and confirmed the online price that was originally listed with one of their sales associates. I did this because that was one of the problems reported in other peoples reviews was them changing the listing price of the vehicle. I also took the car to my well trusted mechanic to get looked through and many codes came up on the computer the wrong oil was also put in the car and the spare tire wasn't properly put on. The mechanic said based on the condition the oil was in that the dealership had to have done maintenance on the car. A majority of the maintenance done was either faulty or to cover up something about the car. I got a professional quote from the mechanic for around $3,000 in repairs and things that needed to be done to the car so it would be safe and reliable. I went to make an offer on the car and when I called to give the offer the salesperson I originally agreed on a price with had changed the price and raised it a significant amount after talking to him previously. He also denied all of the problems on the car that needed to be addressed saying that the report was not true. I am truly fed up with this dealership and was looking forward to making a purchase with them, but am more than glad to take my money to anther place that is truthful and not disrespectful. The dealership tends to respond to these negative reviews saying that it was the customers fault and that it is not the dealers fault, but they are truly a sleazy company that prides themselves on ripping off customers. read more

I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee from Import Auto Brokers August 10, 2017, and drove 600 miles to pick it up, and I am pleased, but the customer service is a lying pack of money hungry wolves. I explained that I was from Arkansas and we only had 30 days for our registration before being assessed a penalty. I began calling everyday before the 30 day expiration, and the lady told me legally they had 45 days in Georgia, and they all including the general manage(Tony) which gave me his cell number which he never answered or responded to texts. There was $300 of penalties when the title was sent to me on the 46th day. I will never buy another vehicle unless hey have title in hand especially an out of state purchase. Needless to say I didn't even bother to confront them about the $300 hundred dollars, because I am a franchise owner and know that they are crafty at talking to unsuspecting customers. I'd been browsing internet for some time looking for a used, reliable truck and really liked the looks of a 2007 GMC Sierra at Import Auto. David, the salesman, was very pleasant and worked to get the vehicle in my price range. Shayna, the financial person, was also very accommodating. The 2-star rating out of 5 is based upon 3 things. There was a long delay in getting the truck gassed up. Apparently someone had David's gas card. Then when I finally started driving home, I noticed I only had about a 1/4 tank of gas which didn't even get me home (2 hrs. later). Based upon prior experiences purchasing used vehicles, the dealership always made sure I had a full tank of gas. The day after my purchase, the oil indicator came on showing I needed an oil change. The sticker on the vehicle showed a date of July 2016 as last oil change. I'm assuming they didn't check oil level before I purchased the truck...quite disappointed with the lack of attention to these details. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! My husband traded his car in for one of Import Auto Brokers used vehicles. After taking the new vehicle home we receive a call two days later from the finance manager saying that the amount of the loan and the 3.3% interest rate that we signed off on was not approved. He told my husband we could keep the vehicle if we signed a new agreement with 4.99% interest rate upon the conversation my husband asked if we would have to pay anything in order to get our trade-in car back the answer given was no. We decided to take the new vehicle back the following day since we had seen to many red flags from the first day we walked in. Godfrey(finance manager) and Fred(part owner) are not honest these imbecilic are frauds they will lie to you just to make you think that they are offering you a good deal I would NOT recommend their unethical business practice. When we get to the dealership in order to get our car back we had to pay them $800.00 which included: the mileage we used on the new vehicle, the 4 used tires they put on our trade-in vehicle, the car detail on their vehicle, and spark plugs (which they never replaced on our trade-in) after another character was involved she typed up a receipt that took her nearly 2 hours to type after we asked for it they said they only accepted a cashiers check no credit or debit for this kind of transaction so we had to go get a money order by the time we had spent 3 hours just waiting on Fred and Godfrey talking to their adviser over the phone my husband decided to pay them whatever just to get rid of these idiots. We will never consider buying from another dirty lowdown used vehicle dealership. I have alread filed a complaint with the Federal Trace Commissioners Office and the Better Business Bureau. read more
