I hate the fact I can't complain about anything in the shop. I would love to complain about parking but that means I'm mad about EVERYTHING on Queens street and I don't have that type of time. The uber driver dropped me in the ally behind the shop because that's where the google maps took him. I found moe_beardbarber on insta and was a bit skeptic about his perfect pictures and upscale marketing techniques but I decided to go with it. Waking thru the door no one spoke but three barbers look like mad scientist working on heads as if they were battling each other. I notice the shop was extremely clean. When it was my turn I sat with the guy from insta who wore the Bane mask. I have no idea why he wears it but his savvy insta marketing wasn't just for show. Yet the Bane mask worked because lord knows I had a good time taking pics while he was cutting me and sending it to SC, FB, and insta I got a real kick out of it. Love the fact the 90% of my haircut I faced the mirror, my barber was overjoyed to show his craftsmanship off to his customer. I noticed they sold BEARD PRODUCTS and when people came in to buy them (happens often), they stop and sold them the product. I was wondering if they were going to.... STOP. Yes they use the same product on their customers with the cut (MT FAVORITE PART). During my cut the barber was very meticulous about every strand of hair to the point he finished each section with scissors. In prior military I've lived in Wisconsin, Germany, Hawaii, North Carolina, and now Texas I've set in tons of barber chairs. (This is the part when you believe I go to far with this review, it's cool tho because my barber went well beyond to far with his skill set for the price) THIS WAS THE BEST CUT IVE EVERY HAD IN MY LIFE. At cash out I owed $50 with a style cut, beard trim, razor line, and some fiber work (google it). I gave the man EVERYTHING I HAD IN MY POCKET (and I felt like I should have gave more. Moe is by far the best barber, hands down in the entire city. I followed him when he moved locations & opened his own shop. My 1st time there, walked in and saw two stylists. The man, wearing a tuke was cold, no hello and nodded at the female stylist to take me as a customer. They do a great haircut, but it is way too pricey for a barbershop. It is a barbershop with the prices of a salon, plus they only take cash and you will still be paying tax on it, plus tips you are looking at a hefty $50 for a hair cut. That is normally what I pay at salons for cut and wash. read more

This place is Absolutely amazing. The ambiance is very tranquil and chilled out, and the barbers here are not only very professional, they also take the time to really converse with you while they work. I've been to many a barber here in the city, and I have to say this place is virtually spotless compared to the others. The usually like to keep my hair pretty conservatively cut and styled, but I did try a new look at the suggestion of Mo the barber. I will definitely be returning! read more

Yesterday I truly had the best haircut experience I can recall. I used to be a barber so I follow a lot of barbers on Instagram. One guy in particular that caught my eye numerous times is @Moe_beardbarber The guy's haircuts are so tight. So since I was visiting for the weekend I had to stop by his new shop. When I got there I was so disappointed to see that the shop had closed for the day. However, I saw Moe through the door and he warmly opened up and said he was closed for business for the day. I told him I traveled from Washington, DC and had been following him on Instagram and really liked his haircuts and was excited to have had a chance to stop by. He warmly said, "jump into the chair and let me give you a cut". I can honestly say I received one of the best most detailed haircuts that I've ever gotten in my life. Moe is a true professional in every sense of the word. He takes pride in his craft and makes sure that you have an amazing experience. He's a true master from barber to barber. I have been to this place a couple of times and had great experiences. Once was with Moe and thought he did a wonderful job. This time though I had a woman who was working there. It seemed like she was in a race to cut my hair. The end product proved that. She nicked my ear a few times with the clippers and she tried to cut my hair dry with the product still in. She was going so fast with the clippers that I could feel my hair being pulled out at times. I believe the quality with the other barbers are great but this type of experience deters me from going back unless I knew I was getting Moe or another quality barber. The only thing is at busy times at a first come first serve operation you don't know who you will get. When I get a haircut I want to feel that the person cutting cares and wants to do the best job possible. Unfortunately this time it missed the bar. read more
