My wife and I came in for a couples massage and we both had an excellent experience. My wife was very happy with her massage and specifically wanted to praise Mia, who made her feel relaxed and well taken care of throughout the session. I want to give special recognition to Maria, who worked on me. I have multiple past injuries, including a broken neck at C6-C7. I have visible scarring, a previous right arm fracture, a boxer's fracture, and foot and ankle injuries. Maria had no prior knowledge of any of this. When asked about pressure, I requested medium. Throughout the massage, she showed great awareness and attention to detail, especially by being careful with my hand on the side of my boxer's fracture. That level of consideration really stood out to me and showed true professionalism. Overall, the attention, care, and quality of the massages made this a great experience for both of us. We would highly recommend this place, and especially Maria and Mia. read more

Highly recommend louis, who did wonders on my back in 90 minutes. I came in with such pain, I couldn't stand up for extended periods of time. Afterward I left for home, did the laundry and the dishes, and still had energy to stand around if l wanted to after putting the kids to bed. read more

I have been a regular customer at this establishment for nearly two years. During that time, I have received multiple lower-body massages, but this recent experience was completely different and extremely unpleasant. Yesterday was my second massage with Lucas, and basic draping was not followed at all. In previous sessions, the non-treated leg was always covered with a towel. This time, however, both legs were left completely exposed throughout the session. I was only wearing underwear and positioned with one leg raised, while the other leg was also left fully uncovered, which made me feel very exposed and uncomfortable. The main issue was that repeated strong pressure was applied very close to the groin area while I was in this fully exposed position. The lack of any proper covering while working near such a sensitive area felt inappropriate, highly uncomfortable, and embarrassing. Only after I directly asked for my leg to be covered was a towel finally provided. When the session continued on the other side, the same pressure near the groin area was no longer applied. This made the earlier part of the session feel inconsistent and raised serious concerns about how it was conducted. In all my time visiting this establishment over the past two years, I have never experienced a session where basic draping was ignored in this way. I was too shocked to address it immediately, but the experience has remained very unpleasant. Not following basic draping standards while working near sensitive areas is, in my view, a serious issue. This was not just uncomfortable, but a very disappointing experience overall. read more

Haven't came here in a while since my last visit a couple years ago wasn't great but WOW the service and overall experience is so much better now!! I came with my bf this morning we both did combo 5 (40 min body & 30 min foot massage) and it was amazing. I had Amy and I will definitely be asking for her when I come back. I felt really refreshed and really appreciated how attentive she was! read more

Mia was amazing! Been waking up with neck and shoulder pain and in need of a massage so when I found myself out in Walnut for work one afternoon I figured it was my chance. I've always enjoyed the Chinese foot massage places but none are close to where I live, so when a quick Yelp search pulled up Imperial Massage I was eager to try it out and boy was I not disappointed! The place was clean and surprisingly spacious, without feeling sterile and still being comfortable and inviting. Mia my massage therapist applied the perfect amount of pressure to get to my knots while still being so relaxing and found and spent a lot of focus on my areas of pain without me having to point them out. She even gave me an extra scalp massage and rubbed my kneck/shoulders (which is where I was extra tight) while letting my feet soak before my food massage. $80 for an hour long body massage followed by a 30 minute foot massage at a place open from 10am to 10pm 7 days a week? Why can't I live closer?! ...still might be worth the hour drive once and a while.... read more

I try to come here once a month and get combo #6( 1hr body and 30 feet). It's super close to me so it's convenient and when I bring a friend they always want to come back too! I like to call ahead to make sure they have time for me too~ I think I've been here 5 times now and I always had a good experience! read more

I started the year off with a wonderful massage and Imperial Massage! They now offer an Upper Back Only massage which is perfect for me. My masseuse was great and really worked on the knots in my back. I left more relaxed and felt great afterwards. I've always had a good experience here and definitely recommend checking them out. The staff are nice, the rooms are clean, and the massages are affordable. read more

Revisited for our valentines date & they allowed us to come in half an hour early for the appt. Mary helped me out today and she was super kind, constantly asking if the pressure was okay and making sure I was always covered, comfortable and warm. They even included hot stones in our massages which was appreciated. Definitely worth the price they charge, please don't forget to tip as they work so hard! read more

my boyfriend and I called on Thursday to make an appointment for the following Friday evening and there was availability. we got the 60 minute full body massage by Sheri and Lulu and they were both great! they really found our knots and focused on them without us having to say anything. they also asked what pressure we wanted prior to starting. bonus: they accept FSA as payment! read more

This massage place is very nice, clean, affordable, and the massages were great! We visited as a family of four and we all got the 90 minute massage $70 (60 min body & 30 min feet). I had a lady who massaged my body, and my sister got a male masseuse. When we moved to the reclining chairs for the feet, they switched, and I got the male masseuse. Both were good and most importantly, they did minimal talking amongst each other so we can relax and sleep. Free parking and they open late until 10pm. This is my new go-to spot for massages, and I highly recommend it. read more

We were feeling achy from too much WFH during the pandemic that after not going to any foot spa or massage places in the last 4 years, we finally bite the bullet and look up some local massage places nearby. We found Imperial Massage on Yelp with great reviews so decided to come here for a try. The place looks very clean and spacious with a row of private rooms for body massage services. The foot spa services are done in the large communal room with multiple couches. I booked the #4 Combo (30 min body + 30 min foot) for my friends and I because we wanted to sample each service. They gave us the double private room (with 2 beds) so we can enjoy our privacy during the massages. My girl was "Linda" and omfg, this girl got serious skills! I prefer my masseuse to have strong hands and can basically "beat me up" with deep tissue massages so can get rid of all the knots and tensions on my shoulder and back. Linda did not disappoint! However, I did not think she did a good job in the 30 min foot massage, but the 30 min body massage was really excellent. It was so good that I went back to her the next day for a full 60 min body massage service. That night, I had the best sleep ever. I highly recommend "Linda" for body massage service. *You can request to add oil and/or hot stone for your body massage service. Both are complimentary and included in the body massage service. I got both oil and hot stone added. read more

Been going here for years. My masseuse was good. Although sometimes, generally, most chinese spas tend to go harder on pressure.

I just finished my 90 minutes body massage which Kevin. I actually called to make the appointment with a male masseur because I know this place is always busy and they do have a lot of male masseurs and female masseuses. But sometimes they are short of male masseur and that's why is best to call ahead. The lady on the phone sounded very pleasant and nice. I made my appointment for 6 pm, when I got there, i told the lady sitting at the desk that I called for a male masseur. There was about 6-7 female masseuse just waiting for customers, the boss lady said I wanted a male lol. You pay first, is not something new for most massage parlors, because some people just don't want to pay after the massage complaining it wasn't good blah blah blah. I bet you know someone has done it before lol. Anyway, got to my room, got completely naked and on the massage bed, Kevin knocked "are you ready ? " yes. I just lifted my head and took a quick glance at him, he looks like a big guy. They got big hands lol. He asked me what pressure I like, medium or hard. I said hard of course. The first 20 minutes was good but then it got softer and softer. The hour has already passed and when he wiped me down, I didn't get no hot stones. Are the hot stones extra charge ? I flipped on my back and he was massaging my head, that's when I think I fell asleep cause I was so tired lol I woke up when he turned my head sideways and didn't really massage my neck as hard as I like but he spent a lot of time massaging my face, then a minute on each arm, massaging my legs, a couple of squeezing and he pulled my feet up and dropped them down, what does that even do for you? lol I got long legs, sometimes I get scared of my ankle hitting the edge of the bed when he drops my feet. Overall it was good but next time I want to try a different guy and do the longest combination. I still tip him $30 ($20 per hour plus $10 for half hour). If he was consistent of keeping the hard pressure, I would of tipped him more. At the end, he was at the front waiting for his tip and gave me a cup of hot tea. Thanks Kevin and boss lady, I would definitely come back, is only 16 minutes from my house and I would definitely recommend you guys/ladies to come here. Is professional, clean and plenty of parking. read more

My first time at Imperial Massage Center was such a great experience... I left feeling completely satisfied and relaxed. I truly appreciate the care and quality of service. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend Emie to anyone looking for a relaxing massage! read more

I have been coming here for years with no problems at all. I came today with a party of 3 and opted for the 60, when I called I requested all females. We got here, appt was at 830 got taken back around 840 then sat in the back for about 5 minutes and they assigned a male to do my massage no big deal. Going into the massage he was so rushed it was so uncomfortable I told him I just want to do 30 minutes instead, I could not sit there for an hour. He was so rushed I was out of his chair by 905. I went tot he front to just let them know when I called I specifically asked for 3 females and was told they could accommodate them, then showed him I didn't not even get the complete 30 minutes. He said ok sorry and continued to charge me for the entire 30 minutes. I love this place but with customer service like this I don't know if I can come back. read more

Chinese massage located in the Vons complex. Came here for a massage and managed to squeeze in an 8pm slot. I'd recommend calling ahead to book an appointment if you're trying to go in the evening, otherwise apparently it's less busy in the mornings. Plenty of free parking. We had to send Zelle for payment and use cash for the tip. If you go with someone else, it's possible to get a private room. My masseuse worked very hard to get my knots out, although unfortunately my traps are too tight and those still stayed. However, I appreciated that she used hard pressure when I told her that I wanted hard pressure. They used hot stones and oil on my back which felt nice. Overall, it was a popular massage spot and you can get a solid massage here. read more

had an incredible experience at imperial massage! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was so calming with soft music, soothing scents, and a welcoming staff. My therapist was highly skilled--they tailored the pressure perfectly to my needs and focused on my problem areas. The deep tissue left me feeling completely rejuvenated. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the little details (like hot towels and herbal tea afterward) made it extra special. The pricing is reasonable for the quality of service, and I'll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend! read more

I've come to this massage place at least 3 times over the years and have always had an excellent experience. Most recently with Grace who gave an amazing massage focusing on my problem areas and put the perfect amount of pressure. Gone are the days of $20 foot massages, but Imperial massage keeps up with quality , cleanliness of the facilities and consistently excellent work. read more

I've had a lot of massages over the years, and this was easily one of the best. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calm, clean, and welcoming. The therapist really took the time to ask about my problem areas and customized the session perfectly. The pressure was just right, and I could feel the tension melting away. I walked out feeling lighter, looser, and honestly in a better mood. If you're looking for a professional, relaxing, and truly therapeutic massage, this is the place. Was looking for a massage place after moving to the area. I was a little scared because I loved my masseuse in Long Beach but I hit the jackpot on the first try. I have really terrible shoulder pain and hip pains and usually have to come every couple months when I start to tense up again, today at work I couldn't even stand straight because my hip pain was so bad. Luckily Mushi took care of me, she didn't even ask where it hurt it was like the she knew. She rubbed out both knots under my shoulder blades and worked on my hips , upper legs for a good while. She knew just when to be soft and let me know when it was going to be a little harder (for the knots ) but she was on point as to how much pressure to apply without hurting me. Overall I left feeling so much better! the full range of motion in my arms was back which felt amazing and absolutely no pain in my hips. I will be back for sure and so happy to have stumble upon this place ! read more

An absolute oasis of relaxation in Walnut!! First and foremost, the massage itself was absolutely perfect. From the firmness and strength of the massage therapist they definitely melted away the tension in my muscles. The cleanliness of the establishment is worth noting as well. From the reception area to the treatment rooms, everything was maintained, creating a serene and inviting environment. My favorite experience during the massage was the hot stone, undoubtedly the highlight of my visit. The combination of soothing heat and expert manipulation of the stones worked wonders on my tired muscles, leaving me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Would recommend this (and it's part of the treatment!!) What's more impressive is that Imperial Massage offers exceptional value for the quality of service. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the level of attention that goes into the treatment. For anyone in need of some pampering, this place is the way to go! Left feeling like a had a new body. read more

My friend and I had a bad experience here recently. She booked 1 hour massages to celebrate my birthday on Friday evening. She arrived first and was seated at the couch. I walked in after and walked towards her to sit on the couch. We waited about 5 minutes, and then the person managing the desk asked what massages we wanted. We stuck to the 1 hour massages. She then said she would be able to have the massage at 7 p.m. My friend mentioned that we actually had to leave around that time because we had another commitment at 7:30 p.m. My friend asked if we could do 30-minute massages instead of 1 hour. She said she was going to call another customer to see if they were going to be on time. We were confused since we had an appointment scheduled. The customers that had a 6:30 appointment walked in at 6:20. They checked in and said they had a 6:30 p.m. appointment. They were directed to proceed to the back for their massages. We were again confused. Then the person working at the desk just looked at us and said sorry. My friend and I just looked at each other confused. The person managing the desk said there was no one available for us. We got up and left. This experience was really disappointing. If the business wanted to refuse to provide a service that could've been mentioned at the time of scheduling, phone call prior to the appointment, or upon arrival. Not after waiting and seeing a later appointment being helped first. This massage center is close to where I live, but unfortunately for my friend, she drove through 2 hours of traffic to be there. I hope no one experiences this type of service from this buisness. read more

I was really excited about coming here because it was recommended by a friend. I made the appointment for a couples massage for the evening same day and they were able to accommodate for a 7:30p. When we showed up, I pulled out my card to pay for the massage and the receptionist immediately pulled out a QR code and asked me to pay via Zelle instead. Thought it was weird for a business to request that but I did so anyway. I then told the receptionist that we did not have cash and asked if it'd be ok to walk across the parking lot when our massage was done to pull cash. She said it was no problem and that you generally tip afterward anyway. We did the combo massage which included a 30min foot massage and an hour full body. The experience was great and they really went in on the knots and what not. So here's the issue. As we were leaving, we are saying our good byes and exiting to pull out cash for the tip. Before we are fully out the door, the masseuses come in to the lobby and start yelling at us that we didn't tip. I then start telling them that we are going literally 50ft to the ATM to withdraw cash and the masseuses start saying we can Zelle the tip. Tbh, we were kinda turned off at this point and we continued to the ATM to withdraw cash. They stayed in the lobby watching us to make sure we went to the ATM. My partner did not want to tip at this point but I thought since we had enjoyed our services so much it wouldn't be fair. I pulled out $40 and gave both masseuses $20 each on top of the $140 they'd asked me to Zelle at the beginning. An hour later I get a text from the place saying that they had not received the Zelle even though I had shown the receptionist the confirmation before our services started. I sent them a screenshot of my bank's confirmation and they apologized. What would been a great experience ended up being a not so great experience. Just know if you come, they expect a tip and will hound you for it asap. Wanted to love this place but won't be back again. read more

Came by for a massage the other day and it was a fantastic experience with a few bumps. Called ahead and they had immediate availability. Parking was plentiful in the private strip mall. Opted for the combo massage for $45 and there was signage to prepay although it was odd that I needed to inform the employee that I was looking for change from $60. The employee seemed oblivious... The combo massage started off in a private room. Requested a strong masseur without oil and the therapist was strong hitting on pressure points without using oil. The foot massage portion was done in a communal setting of 9 chairs where I was the only patron. The masseur wore vinyl gloves while doing the foot massage. It was more like a 5 minute head and neck massage, 10 minute for each foot/leg and then a 5 minute wipe down and leg massage. The loo was clean and there was a mini portable heater in the communal foot massage room. read more
