Masseurs at YST are professionals who really care about your heath. Instead of resorting to putting chemicals into my body, I believe in holistic and natural therapy to get my body in order. The service is excellent and the price is more than reasonable. I get a two hour massage: The first hour is spent on a recliner where you get head , shoulder, arm and foot massage. Then you move into a room and get the back and leg massage on a comfortable massage table. I usually get the massage from Zhang & Angel and my friend gets the massage from Tom. A local massage place that I tend to end up at is YST in Diamond Bar. It is in the same plaza as this Korean supermarket, Starbucks, and also Paris Baguette. This plaza is quite busy and usually has a lot of cars. I usually though get a massage at night. They close at 10:00 PM and I always call beforehand just to make sure that they have availability! I usually get the body massage but they also have the foot massages or combinations. So pick the one you like and have a nice relaxing time. read more

For $70, I get a 45 min. full body massage + a 45 min. foot massage, and the package does NOT disappoint. I've never had a harder or more effective massage in my life. I work out 7 days/week, and am a very stressed out lawyer and toddler mom, so my body gets super bent out of shape, but this place knows how to work the magic. I've had both male and female employees work on me here and they all do an excellent job. The body massage will take place in a private room, and the foot massage is in a public room. Does this place have all the frills as more expensive places might? Been coming here for foot massages. Finally decided to try their $40 body (40mins) and foot (30mins) together with a friend in the same room and we both loved it. At first we were considering if we would be comfortable enough to be bare back and insisted to get two women masseuse which helped. Both Monica and Lily were strong and very friendly. I would come back for it knowing what to expect and I would ask for my masseuse, Monica, again. She really got into my knots and tightness and it wasn't too painful. I've been meaning to review this business for a while because it's hands down one of the best massage in the area. The store doesn't seem appealing and I wouldn't say it's relaxing like a spa. It's just your typical Chinese spot with bed chairs and back rooms. The reason why I give this place a 5 star is because of their meridian massage. I visited numerous massage places in Rowland and SGV but this is one of the most consistent places that will be the same for the meridian massage. I highly recommend Lily. I returned for another massage and enjoyed the whole experience. It's a good idea to try different specialists since they have different styles. I have been experiencing a lot of muscle tightness and knots in my leg and back and left feeling relaxed. The best foot massage joint I have found so far. Relaxing on a peaceful Friday, I decided to make my way over to Diamond Bar for some R&R. I made an appointment same day to go in the evening for a one hour $15 massage. I saw there were good reviews, so why not? I found them quite easily, as they are right off Golden Springs. They're in the back of the parking lot with Del Taco. They had a really nice atmosphere (it was actually quiet) and there was nice tranquil music on as well. I loved the game show that was one muted, though. When I arrived, I was greeted by Angela and everyone was very nice. She escorted me back to the massage chair and gave me no high pressure sales when I decided I only wanted the $15 hour foot massage. She did a great job at neck and shoulders. Her foot massage was excellent. I loved that she was clean and didn't smell like smoke, which is not the norm for these foot massage establishments. I post this yelp review AS I get my massage because it's impossible to concentrate as the workers talk and the customers are pretty inconsiderate of the other people getting massages since it's an open room. I wanted to find a massage place that was close to my house, i saw this place on yelp and the reviews were good so i gave it a go. Best was to describe it: Massage + Chiropractic adjustment + reflexology + torture = YST massage. :) I liked it. Im not normally into pressure massages but the lady was very nice and kept asking if the pressure was ok. I was very surprised how much power this small pretty 5'2 lady had. I mean i would not want to pick a fight with her!!! The room was open, airy, with nice large red individual soda chairs to lay on while getting your foot massage. Then for body massage they take you into a private room to strip and get on the table for a body oil massage. Unfortunately due to my large 'watermelons' i was unable to lay face down on the flat table so they took me back to the red sofa chair and did a body massage there. Very good. She did deep tissue, pressure and pulling and stretching. All in all i was pretty impressed as this 1hr foot & body massage was $20!!!! I recently went to another massage place bc this place was booked, and the person over there just rubbed lotion on me the whole time. This place, however, always delivers on the best massage. A friend and I came here after a day of skiing and big bear and it was amazing! They are really good. You feel like you got your money's worth. They put a lot of effort into the massage. My friend brings her mom here all the time, and now I'm a fan. The blue towels are so soft and smell so good. The ambiance is great, very relaxing. I was shocked this time when the one who massages my family demanded to have $ 20 tip. They said because it's personal service not like in a restaurant. Ok I agree to that but it should depends on the kind of service that the customer is receiving. If they are just rubbing you instead of helping you to ease your pain. I think they don't deserve to have a $20 tip. Before they demand for $10 now they are asking for $20 for same service that you get. Love this place! Came here looking to relax after a long work week right before a vacation. I was taken to a seat right away, and while I waited for my massage to start (only about 10 minutes or so), I was handed a warm cup of tea, and my feet were set up in a hot foot bath. I opted for the $15 foot massage to prevent any disappointment just in case my masseuse didn't know what they were doing (this is a great price considering the area, I rarely see that range outside of Monterey Park/Alhambra). This location is still fairly new, so they have a special going on right now, $20 for a full body massage, which I was offered and politely declined. I can't tell you how refreshing it was to be asked only ONCE and not be badgered over and over again for a service that I didn't want, as is customary at so many foot massage places/nail salons, etc. What stood out to me the most about Yst was the serene atmosphere (or as serene as you can get for being in a strip mall). It was fairly quiet, save for the instrumental music playing, and the temperature was just right (no chit chatting, gum smacking or cigarette smelling hands here!) The only low point of my whole experience was a customer who was told that the suggested tip for his $15 dollar massage was at least $5 dollars. Now I know Yst isn't exactly Burke Williams, but considering the already low prices being offered, its common courtesy to at least leave a substantial tip. He continued to argue with the staff, completely ruining the atmosphere, until they conceded to his $2 dollar tip. Good on you, Yst for putting the customer first (even if he was a jerk)! read more

I just paid to have location rubbed on my legs. I got a 1hr foot massage. But it was really just annoying and I wanted to leave half way through the hr. They did not work on pressure points or anything to actually help me and barely massaged my feet and got up to answer the phone twice. I don't recommend this place at all. I've been here a few times. For the most part the massages are good. They use a little bit too much pressure most of the time but I may just be sensitive. Lately though the quality of service has declined. I got a massage the other day and I really was not able to enjoy it. It was about 2 hours before closing and there was only one other patron getting a massage in the one of the rooms. I walked in and they knew exactly what I wanted (I always get the same kind of massage because I have a lot of lower back pain). Shortly after my massage began two customers walked in taking really loudly about their job and boss. Even after being seated right behind the chairs we were getting massages in they continued chatting obnoxiously loud. And no one working there had the sense to ask them to be quiet since it's a massage place and people go there for peace and a good massage. We had to shush them more than once in order for them to get the message. Then after they finally shut up, the two ladies giving the massages started talking. What is the point to paying for a massage if you can't enjoy it because people are too busy talking? Hellooooo they mute the tv for a reason! Like it's a massage parlor, not Starbucks. I just came from this "massage" place and there were more cons than pros. My major complaint was that the masseuses kept talking to each other. I was there to relax after a long, stressful day and I spent most of my massage wondering if I should be rude and ask them to stop their conversation but felt like the would be too rude (go figure). My friend was getting massaged next to me and I heard him ask his masseuse multiple times to not move so fast (think scouring a cast iron skillet) and I could hear he slow down for about 15 seconds and then speed up again. I couldn't relax with that knowing he was miserable. I regretted staying past the foot massage portion ( we had a combo massage). I don't think the masseuses were truly trained, just random people they hired. Lastly, a group of people walked in talking loudly and answering their cell phones. Ugh! Wow! Service was NOT good. First off this is not my first experience at a foot massage place. We tried this place after we went to our original spot and it was closed for business due to the owners retirement. So we Yelped "foot massage" and this is place came up. I tried this place with my friend and we were the only two there at first. We Asked for the $15 foot massage and were seated promptly. It was nothing spectacular. Coco the lady that was massaging me started with my face she only applied pressure on my forehead and nothing else. I assumed it would get better, but it didn't. She stared with my legs and NOT my feet but stayed there the whole time. WTH?! I paid for a foot massage NOT a leg massage. Mind you the while time as we're sitting next to each other the guy (Jeff) & Coco were laughing, paying more attention to the T.V. and talking rather than letting us relax. It was non-stop chatter from both and everyone else working there. So unless you want to go to a foot massage place and not relax then go here. Oh and also, apparently there is a minimum of $5 tip. I don't tip if the service isn't good because I feel that I'm paying you for a service and if you are good at your job then I tip very well but if they provide mediocre service then I tip accordingly. Well my experience SUCKED so I tipped her $1 according to the service I received. I tipped the other guy $2 because he too was just okay. Once we walk out both Jeff & Coco follow us out and said it's minimum $5 tip each. WTF?! Since when do you set a price on a tip? Obviously they don't get the concept if tipping. This is definitely not one of those places where you're going to fall asleep during your massage. Ashley K. is on point when she uses the word "torture" (think slapping your back, high pressure, lots of pounding... and yes all done by a petite somewhat older lady!), but I really did enjoy the massage. I made a same-day appointment on a Friday for 2pm. Scheduling was easy and when I walked in the parlor (is that the right word?) was empty. I walked to the counter and was asked to sit in the big red chairs for a while. I chose the body massage for $30 as I've been experiencing a lot of neck and back pain. I was shortly moved to one of the massage rooms and in the back-- a darker individual room with a massage table. The environment looked clean and I was given the option of having the music on or off. The inside of the room wasn't super fancy (i.e. fountains, various aromas, decor, etc.), but for an Asian place that was expected. I was then informed that my massage therapist would be a female and was given a good 10 minutes or so to get situated. From there, I pretty much every inch of me was badgered (in a good way). The therapist did confirm if the pressure was okay. We didn't converse at all given the language barrier I'm guessing, but I actually prefer my massages that way. All in all, a painful, yet good experience. The next day I must admit I was a bit sore, but the following day I felt pretty much amazing! In the future, I think I will opt for the body + foot massage. Be sure to tip well-- they work hard for their money! read more
