My two favorite therapists here are Kevin and May, and I can't say enough good things about them. They are both extremely knowledgeable when it comes to finding those problem areas and actually knowing how to work them out. I always leave feeling noticeably less tense and relieved from my aches and pains. I originally scheduled an appointment with Kevin today, but I was pleasantly surprised to have May work on me instead. I did the 1-hour combination massage, which includes a full-body massage, and it was exactly the TLC I needed. The quality of their massages is honestly comparable to the professionals I've experienced in China, and that is a HUGE compliment coming from me. They really know what they're doing, and I'm pretty particular about my massages now because of them. I definitely won't settle for anything less! Not sure if they were having an off day, but unfortunately my experience wasn't great. I booked a 60-minute full-body massage, but it felt pretty rushed toward the end and most of the time was spent on my back, with very little attention given to my arms or legs. I also wasn't offered back walking despite the setup for it, and there was no tiger balm and only a few minutes of hot stones. Overall, the experience felt a bit impersonal and like I was assigned whoever was available rather than really being taken care of. We called Imperial Massage to see if they could take us last minute after another foot massage place gave away our 11:00 a.m. appointments and told us we'd need to wait an additional 45 minutes despite arriving on time. Imperial Massage was able to accommodate all three of us right away. I asked about pricing for a one-hour foot massage, which was quoted at $50 very reasonable and about the going rate so we headed straight over. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted in a beautifully decorated lobby that felt cozy, clean, and inviting. The atmosphere throughout the spa was calm, quiet, and relaxing, which was exactly what we needed. After discussing our options, the three of us decided on the 60-minute combo massage: 30 minutes of foot massage and 30 minutes of body massage for $55. We were taken to the back where the recliners are located for foot massages. The area was peaceful and quiet, allowing us to fully relax. For the first 30 minutes, I received a medium-pressure massage focused on my head, neck, shoulders, legs, and feet. Mina did an excellent job applying just the right amount of pressure and frequently checked in to make sure I was comfortable. After the foot massage, I was taken to a private room for the body massage, which was also very quiet and soothing. I really appreciated that they allow you to either keep your clothes on or remove them--one of my friends preferred not to undress, which made the experience more comfortable for her. Mina again used medium pressure on my back and neck and skillfully used her elbows to work through stubborn tension in my shoulders. Toward the end of the session, she used hot stones and a warm towel, which was the perfect way to finish. Afterward, I returned to the front to pay and leave a tip for Mina. She used the perfect amount of pressure firm enough to release all the tension but still incredibly relaxing. I walked out feeling lighter, refreshed, and genuinely amazing. I've been experiencing a lot of back, shoulder and hip pain, and finally decided it was time to do something about it. After some looking around, I landed on Imperial Massage as the place to try. I gave a call after work, and was told they had availability right away. When I arrived, Louis was summoned and after reading some of the reviews about him, I knew he was the right person for the massage. I will admit, the place was a lot bigger than expected. I was a little intimidated by the open room, but relieved to find that I was being sent to a private room. Louis gave me a moment to undress and then he got to work. Stretching, pressing, bending, pulling...I felt a bit like a Stretch Armstrong doll, but he was incredibly thorough. He was also careful to make sure I was comfortable and not overtaxed. I did advise of problem areas and he took special attention to those. I could literally feel the knots in areas that he was actively working on. I went with an hour, not knowing what to expect. At $60, it was quite a bargain for a very good quality massage. I paid via Zelle, was offered tea and was on my way. I did give Louis a $20 tip, which he earned every cent of. Be aware that the massages here are not really spa relaxation type massages, it's where I like to go when I need some intense therapy, deep tissue massages. He really got into my knots on my back and even asked if I wanted to extend my massage since I was so tight. I had other things to do that day, so just extended it for another 10 min, but I would like to return and have Jerry work on my back for a whole hour. The foot massage was also good and relaxing. Great massage i had some very tight knots and theh were able to get it out and helped me feel very relaxed. They offer whole body massage and half body massages. We did the 1 hour/60min full body. We arrived and were taken into the massage room right away. The place is clean, quiet, and staff are friendly. They ask you how the pressure level is when massaging and I enjoyed the experience overall. They have a nice little drink and snack bar for afterwards. The location is in a plaza. It was tricky to find at first because it's sort of on the side near the gas station. But other than that, all around the experience was great. Hubby chose the #5 combo 70 minutes package (40 mins body + 30 mins foot massage -$55) and I chose 30 mins scalp +30 mins foot massage. I have been a regular customer at this establishment for nearly two years. During that time, I have received multiple lower-body massages, but this recent experience was completely different and extremely unpleasant. Yesterday was my second massage with Lucas, and basic draping was not followed at all. In previous sessions, the non-treated leg was always covered with a towel. This time, however, both legs were left completely exposed throughout the session. I was only wearing underwear and positioned with one leg raised, while the other leg was also left fully uncovered, which made me feel very exposed and uncomfortable. The main issue was that repeated strong pressure was applied very close to the groin area while I was in this fully exposed position. The lack of any proper covering while working near such a sensitive area felt inappropriate, highly uncomfortable, and embarrassing. Only after I directly asked for my leg to be covered was a towel finally provided. When the session continued on the other side, the same pressure near the groin area was no longer applied. This made the earlier part of the session feel inconsistent and raised serious concerns about how it was conducted. In all my time visiting this establishment over the past two years, I have never experienced a session where basic draping was ignored in this way. I was too shocked to address it immediately, but the experience has remained very unpleasant. Not following basic draping standards while working near sensitive areas is, in my view, a serious issue. This was not just uncomfortable, but a very disappointing experience overall. read more
