They then proceeded to do work on only a quarter of the property, left early and left before the work could be verified. They then threatened a lien on my property and to return the debris if I did not pay the full bill over the weekend. When asked to finish the job, they ghosted for two weeks. When they did reply to schedule a return visit, they did not bother to check if the date or time would work for me. After renegotiating a reduced price for the work that was completed, they then sent an invoice for more than the agreed upon price. They fabricate sob stories to try and guilt trip you, they're unprofessional, and rude.

They never got back to me with an estimate after coming out to see the project. Don't use them.read more

He would then charge us just to assess every time. The only Positive was he was responsive and would usually come out fairly quickly. We had to have him come out Multiple times both summer and there was a problem every time. Well the last time we reached out he didn't even respond or get back to us ! I would not recommend. We spent way more than we should have to still have problems. Today we had someone come take a look and he saw everything wrong with the system and said it should've been fixed in one visit.

Chris came to our home and evaluated our yard and made it sound like our overgrown lawn was no big deal at all, like it meant nothing in terms of workload. I originally thought he'd quoted me $40 an hour, even said it twice, then text my roommates about it when he left to discuss splitting the cost. Even if I was wrong and didn't hear correctly, I was looking for understanding, not for a further discount; much less, I wasn't looking for him to berate me over it. All these "discounts" he provided in the email were never discussed beforehand. And, of course, he drops on me that the most convenient payment method costs even more money for brand new customers. Doesn't mean much to me; I won't be using their services again.

He explained what the problems could be and gave me a rough estimate of the cost of repairs. He began work and found that the problem was a much smaller and far easier fix than anticipated. Not only did he tell me what was actually wrong, he showed me, walking me through how the issue happened and each step he would take to fix it. Afterwards, Danny gave me some great tips on how to improve my lawn and maximize the use of my sprinkler system. The repairs cost a fraction of what two other companies quoted me (even for the worst case scenario). Spectacular, timely service, Spindrift is a company of quality and integrity! Based on our input he drew up a "low maintenance" plan that we approved. The following Spring, the entire front yard was re-landscaped. New trees and shrubbery were added. Upgrades were made to the irrigation system. They also subcontracted with a concrete curbing firm that provided edge enhancements for the planted areas. Thad helped us pick out slate to accent different areas of the yard. In the backyard, they upgraded the irrigation system, planted shrubbery and had curbing installed. The landscaping received rave reviews by the neighbors. Misty, from Sterling, has led a team out every Spring to clean up, prune and prepare the yard for Spring and Summer. They have done a fantastic job. I wholeheartedly recommend Sterling landscape service. 10/10

Flash forward to January we get a call saying they werent paid for the sprinkler blow out, I check all my accounts and they were not paid, but a male employee took my credit card info over the phone in october, and I never heard from them again. I am not sure who is in charge of your billing system, but please send bills out immediately if they are not paid instead of harassing and berating your customers. Honest mistakes happen, if a bill wasn't paid, that is YOUR responsibility to follow up with it with written documentation, not phone calls demanding payment without context.
