We had been worried about starting such a big project alongside working/living at home, but the team on site were very professional, friendly and always left the site clean and tidy each day. We were really impressed with the high-quality work of all the tradespeople that worked on our loft. Mark visited the site regularly and kept us updated with the progress at each stage. It was always easy to reach Mark with any questions or queries throughout (before, during & after) the work. As for the final price, it was always as initially agreed, and any extras that came up were communicated to us beforehand. From the moment you talk to Mark face to face you can see that he is an honest, transparent, and trustworthy person. Ben took over £1000 from me and my wife as a deposit for a joinery job on our house. The deposit, we were told, was to pay for materials but after seeing him trying to use recycled wood I contacted the supplier he was using who informed us that Ben had not paid them. Ben lied to us repeatedly, didn't turn up when he said he would and tried to con us out of further money in the process. When it came to light he wasn't going to do the work we paid him for he stopped answering his phone and is now trying to seek a IVA to get out of paying back his debts in full. It is unlikely we will ever get our money back. We are a young family and he has stolen our hard earned savings as well as countless other families in the middle of a pandemic when everyone is struggling. He absolutely untrustworthy and exploits anyone he can, avoid avoid avoid!!!!

I took a week of annual leave only to not have him turn up for the first 2 days giving me pathetic excuses as to why he couldn't come. When he eventually did he brought cheap, flimsy doors which he insisted were fire doors although they obviously weren't. He fitted 2 in an appalling way ( cardboard packing behind the hinges, wonky screws, etc). We googled the code on the doors and they were £25 cheap ones, not fire doors. We've no chance of getting our £800 back. Looking at other review sites he's done this to other people. Ben should be ashamed of himself. We all work hard to earn our money only to be conned out of it! Don't believe the reviews on sites like My Builder!

Barry (The Managing Director) is a time served joiner but over the years he has added many 'strings to his bow'. Barry takes a lot of pride in his work and is only happy if the customer is happy.
