My car was hit by another driver on Christmas Eve several years ago. Westview was recommended by my…read moreinsurance company so I decided to give it a try. Bad idea. My car has not been the same since. It makes a whistling sound coming from the area where it was hit. My drivers side front window just stopped going up one day last spring. Took it to another body shop & they knew without even asking me that (sub-par) work has been on the door. It hadn't been put back together properly. As a result this metal bar that was a part of what made the window go up & down had actually bent and caused the window to get stuck down inside the door. Thanks Westview. I am sure I still haven't seen the end of the problems with their crappy repair of my car :/

Up until recently this shop was pretty good and I and my family liked going there. I never write…read morenegative reviews but I felt compelled to do so. Here is what led me to this review. Brought my wife's car in for repair. They replaced engine mounts. After the mounts were installed, we heard unfamiliar sounds from the engine. They dismissed it. After a couple of requests to look at it , they finally agreed to. By this time my wife didn't feel safe driving the car , so we brought it to another shop. They found a broken bolt and a stripped bolt on the engine mount and a few other issues. While waiting for the result of the issue with my wife's car I had brought my car in and had struts and a control arm replaced. One strut failed out of the box and the control arm failed less than 2 months later. They couldn't get me in right away so I drove on this for a couple of weeks. When they discovered the control arm had failed the woman who answers the phone TOLD me they need to replace a CV joint that had gone bad on that same side. She didn't ask me, she told me they were doing it and it would cost $600. When I asked if this could have been a result of the faulty control arm , she immediately dismissed it. When I asked her to verify this with the mechanic she said she would but never called back. When I called back she clearly didn't like my questions and she responded with "If you don't like our service you can go somewhere else" in her occasional condescending tone. I asked to speak with the owner she told me that he would tell me the same thing. I asked to still speak to the owner but have not received a call. The bottom line is that it appears they use inferior parts and they are getting sloppy, which is disappointing. But they must be extremely busy because it's clear they don't need to care about customer service like they used to.
