    Do they repair vacuums?

We do not repair or sell vacuums. We are more of a pet supply, lawn & garden, and feed supplier.

The business has been around for 100 years and they are located in historic downtown Hartville, Ohio. We buy our cob corn here to feed the squirrels in the winter... we buy our fertilizer here for our gardens in the spring... we buy our bird seed here. Whenever we have a question about feed or plants we come to Hartville. We initially came here years ago because the prices on corn were SO LOW! They still have low prices on feed, however the staff/owners are now like old friends to us. One day while my dad and I were there a woman came into the store talking about her chickens who had contracted some type of a cold. Excuse my inexperience with chickens, but what followed was an in-depth scientific conversation between a Hartville Elevator employee and the chicken owner. The worried chicken owner was obviously soothed by the staff and went about her daily business. Remember the Andy Griffith show? That's what it's like when you enter Hartville Elevator. Two pet cats are usually lolling around on shelves hiding beside bags of grain (one is often belly-up begging to be scratched). Daddy always pulls up to the dock outside and opens the tailgate of his Jeep Wrangler... when we say our goodbyes and exit the store our 50 lb bags of feed are snuggled into the back compartment as if by magic. If you want to deal locally - and PAY LESS than other big brand companies - you won't go wrong with Hartville Elevator!

I feel so much better supporting a store like this than a big box store whenever possible. They have an enormous selection of pretty much anything you could need. I have bought many of the trees and bushes in my yard here. They have usually been successful, but on the rare occasion one hasn't, they have stood by their warranty and offered a replacement. I had two dogwood trees fare poorly before coming to the conclusion that my location or soil simply wasn't right for that tree and replacing it with a weeping cherry from here, which is absolutely thriving. I also have a Koi pond and get all of my fish supplies here, including very nice water lilies every spring after I do a deep clean of my pond. They have all of the flowers, vegetables and herbs, mulches, soils and gardening tools you might be looking for. I sometimes find prices here to be just a dollar or two more expensive than some other places, but I don't mind when I'm supporting such a nice local store. Always staff available to help, which you just don't get at other places.

At Home is so massive that I'm slightly overwhelmed each time I step foot in here. They have a massive variety of decor, bedding, furniture, etc. along with all of the holiday accessories you could ever imagine. I saw a few employees restocking shelves and a few working the checkout counters, but didn't have a chance to interact with anyone. I was just in to browse for some home decorating inspiration and happened to check a few price tags. I don't think they're competitive with other major retailers like TjMaxx, Home Goods, or Ross, but they do have a much larger selection and a lot of unique finds.

It is located across the street from shopping centers and stands alone on its side of the street. This store is HUGE and offers a very, very large selection of holiday decorations, indoor and outdoor furniture, bedding, rugs, curtains, canvas prints, cookware, bath accessories, ETCETERA! Prices are low to moderate. For example, I thought that the prices for sheets and quilts were much lower than what competing stores charge. My husband waited about one hour while I shopped in this store. I kept wandering around the numerous aisles, and we lost each other! I sent him repeated text messages, and eventually he found me. I picked out seven products for my kitchen and dining room. At the checkout, the cashier immediately greeted me, correctly scanned my products and charged me, carefully wrapped my breakable dishware, and thanked me.
