In the four years I've been doing Crossfit, I've learned that each box struggles to find its voice…read more Bea and Rich have fixed this issue by offering a wide range of classes and coaches that can cater to those looking to lose weight, refine their Olympic lifts, or become a serious competitor. You are able to focus on your goals and gain motivation from the rest of the members without feeling like you are alone. But all of this is nothing if the gym, members, and coaches are not approachable and welcoming. That was the first thing I noticed about the gym and haven't looked back. With a focus on not only training hard but also doing things together outside of the gym it offers a community and support that is missing from some of the other boxes. Highly recommended to anyone looking to start their journey or to finally accomplish what you've been meaning to for years.

I really enjoyed my time at this gym-every coach was really knowledgeable about the best way to teach the moves, as well as "scale" according to my needs. I was never once judged by a coach or another member for being a beginner to working out and over the course of the 6 weeks I was encouraged to go further in my workout. I really liked going to the early AM classes, because it was a smaller group size and a little quieter. The afternoons/after work are busy, but definitely enough room in the classes that the coach was able to give you individualized attention. If you're looking for a space that is inclusive and supportive, while still learning to be a crossfit warrior, this is for you :)

I have slightly mixed feelings giving a strong positive rating to this gym, as it's my home gym and…read moreit's not really in my interest to encourage more people to come in and make it more crowded... Still, it's a very good gym and one of my favorite PFs (my personal circumstances are such that I go to multiple PF's). It's a large facility (the largest PF I've ever seen), and there's a good array of squat racks, selectorized machines, and plate-loaded machines, as well as adjustable benches and an astroturf track section. The place is clean and well-maintained, and the amenities like built-in combination lockers are good. The staff have all been friendly and helpful. For the price, it is an excellent value. As far as negatives go... I wish there were more cleaning stations. You may be in for a long walk if the station near you is out of towels (which can happen when it gets busy). There are also some "standard PF complaints", like the dumbbells cutting off at 70lbs, but I don't hold that against this location in my rating (it's a PF thing, and it is what it is). There are some "gym etiquette" issues here - people who will camp on equipment for 20-30 minutes, workout right at the dumbbell rack, collect little "forts" of dumbbells, ez-bars, not rerack their weights, and so on. Likewise, some are just clueless or selfish and will set up their mat right in front of you while you're doing movement work on the turf section. With PF pivoting away from discouraging more serious lifters (no more "lunk alarms" and all that), I would like to see the franchise pivot toward really cracking down on bad gym etiquette. Anyways, there really aren't many negatives here apart from standard PF limitations. All in all, a very, very good gym experience for the money.

Ashanti is obviously a subject matter expert in the fitness/training arena. I've had one on one sessions with him, attended his full body boot camps (you will feel the BURN), spin classes, and currently working on the personalized workout plan. Ashanti is a very patient, funny, and genuinely concerned about his clients' overall health. Although I'm still working on my lifestyle change, i've learned new workout techniques, my weight has been steady instead of dropping, i've gained confidence, and overall better management of my body/health. I'm looking forward to more gains and classes in 2019!

He is a great support. He knows you can do more than you think you can. I have made so many strides, so many accomplishments since I started. I have lost weight, my squats are much deeper, I am much stronger, agile and faster. A couple months into training, we started doing sprints on the treadmill and also different types of movements (side to side, backwards, high knees and then doing all these things on an incline). When it got warmer, we moved training to the outdoors. I like the change of scenery every once in a while. If you are interested in getting some personal training (even group training) then I highly recommend AR. Like I said, he is a great trainer, he is also very funny so that it is an overall enjoyable training experience.

CrossFit Full Armor does all this while also building off core principles of the Christian faith. The ultimate combination of true personal progress. I can't compliment enough about this gym and the people that comprise it. I have been out of crossfit and consistent lifting for 4 years and decided to get back in shape. From the minute I walked in to see if CrossFit Full Armor was a good fit, I felt greeted and welcomed, and received first class training based on where I was at fitness-wise. I was given a clear path to where I want to go and how to get there. Eric is a top tier trainer and coach and I value his genuine positivity, encouragement and ability to lead a class while providing one-on-one personalized pointers. Case and point, I got several stitches in my shoulder blade and wrote off being able to complete classes for fear of ripping my stitches. Instead, Eric texted stating that he could construct a workout that would focus on alternate muscle groups not impacting my shoulder and putting my stitches at risk of tearing. It meant a lot to me that Eric was invested in my personal fitness goals and willing to find a creative solution to the setback/handicap. The gym has a wide range of equipment, stations and provides all the amenities needed to have a full and well-rounded intensive workout. The class sizes are ideal, and you never feel like just a number. As a father of 2 young children, I really appreciate how open and encouraging the gym is to parents who are trying to be their best. There is a mezzanine in the gym that's set up to host children whose parents are working out - complete with books, toys and couches. My daughter has already enjoyed this area and the views from above watching the workout. Talk about great role modelling and teaching the importance of physical health, fitness and pushing yourself to achieve your potential. All in all, I couldn't be more thankful for such a gym and awesome faith-based community. No matter how hard the workout is I always leave feeling boosted from a fitness and overall positive mindset. Thankful to be a member of CrossFit Full Armor.
