Impact is a small shop that offers attentive, quality service with attention to detail. They are the opposite of many of those insurance company recommended shops that try to sell you like a too slick for their own good used car salesman. They will advocate for you with the insurance company. They don't cut corners or use low quality parts. They stand behind their work and work the details. got referred buy a dubwerx so I assumed it would be a good shop. I contacted them and scheduled to drop the car off. There was a month wait at the time and I was told it would take 2 weeks maybe 3 if they had to argue with the insurance company. Insurance company sent someone out appraised it and cut a check the day it was dropped off. I actually never heard from the body shop again until 3 weeks later when I was told my car would be done tuesday, Wednesday at the latest in a voicemail. I called the next Monday to make sure it would be done. Again, I was told it would be done. that Wednesday I called and was told that it would be done Thursday and that the headlight was on back order and they just assumed it would be there. when I picked the car up, the fender was misaligned and they said it was a quick fix and remained it worse and the headlight is still broken. They took payment and told the insurance company (through email because they wouldn't answer the phone for multiple days) the car was fixed. This place is legit! We were rear ended (but it was pretty bad/ our trunk wouldn't open/ we had some electronic issues). They took care of everything! Insurance was being a pain about aftermarket parts vs authentic, but they got us the authentic ones, like we wanted. When we got our car back, it was as good as new and had been cleaned on the inside. Chris and Diane are also really personable and easy to work with. Went in due to damage on my bumper and fender. Quoted me $800 less than expected due to their ability to repair the fender rather than replace it. Gave me an accurate quote when it would be finished. They did excellent work, my car looks damn near brand new. They also cleaned the inside of my car spotless and fixed some other dents I had from years ago without me asking! Impact discussed different repair options and cost estimates. I was able to get a new door installed and painted for a similar price to another shop that planned no new parts. If you have a new car that needs repairs, wouldn't you want new parts. I also like how Impact emailed pictures along the way so i could follow the work. YOU MUST READ ABOUT HOW AWESOME IMPACT IS. I cannot say enough about Impact Auto Body. If anyone is on the fence about who to go to for body work...don't hesitate and call Chris or Diane now. My wife's new car was hit while parked on a side street and someone recommended me to Impact. From the beginning I knew I was fortunate to find them. Not only were Diane and Chris courteous and sympathetic about our situation. They also took their time to get me an accurate estimate. When the insurance company totaled it and gave me the run around on pricing, Chris called me and coached me through how to deal with them. Once the claim was settled and I received the money for the car, the insurance company wanted to deduct money from the tax they owed me. Once I told Chris about the trouble I was having, he personally sought advice from other experts that deal with insurance adjusters. He again coached me through how to deal with the situation and I ended up getting everything that was owed to me. These people are first class and I would not hesitate for a second about taking my vehicles to them again. If I could give them more stars I would. Best experience for us after Prius car door was crushed. We were told by another body shop that they were too busy to even give an estimate for 4 weeks. We drove into Impact and they said this will be fixed in two weeks. They called our insurance company, got approvals for repairs, drove us straight to Enterprise Car Rental in Kennedy Heights to pick up a rental car for us. Car was fixed within 2 weeks.
