I do not recommend Mike's, at all. An auto body shop is a service business. You customer isn't buying a widget, they're buying your time and your skill. Your reputation. It sounds trite, but in the service industry, your word is your bond. And when you tell me to meet you at 1:00pm on a beautiful Saturday so that I can pick up a few incidentals from the car that our insurance agency is going to pick up and demolish on Monday, you kind of have to show up at 1:00. Even 1:10 is acceptable. Showing up at 1:30 would blow, but at least the trip wouldn't be wasted. Calling me at 3:00 & telling me that it wasn't your fault ... well that kind of sucks, man. No matter what ding or smash my future car(s) experience, they will not be coming your way. read more

I was the victim of an overnight hit and run, one of the hazards of only having on-street parking. I've never had to find a body shop before, but Mike's got great reviews and worked well with my insurance company, so I chose them. They were great!! My car looks brand new again. They even cleaned the inside and it seemed to have gotten a bath. It took a little longer to get back, but I wasn't really in a hurry to get it back. It was worth the wait. I highly recommend. My daughter was in a car accident with my car and my insurance company recommended Mike's Body shop. Mike called me when my car was at the garage, explained the process to me, the parts, the work time and updated me accordingly on the status of my car. I was out of town when my car was finished, so he was kind enough to come into the shop on the weekend to give me my car. There was one small part missing by the windshield wiper, but he told me he would call me when it's delivered and I can stop in and he will replace it ASAP. I even noticed that the interior of my car was cleaned, this was an added bonus. And, there was a small panel in the dashboard that was broken and is now fixed! I am very impressed with the excellent customer service and my car looks as good as it did when I bought it!! Thank you to the team at Mike's Body shop for all that you have done!! I would highly recommend Mike's Body Shop. Customer service was outstanding. I was sent to Mike's by the insurance company of the individual who hit my car. I am glad I had the opportunity to work with Mike & co. He had excellent communication and got repairs completed for me in a timely manner, especially considering I had time restrictions (lease-end inspection). Knowing my car was getting inspected for the end of my lease's term, Mike's crew went above and beyond my expectations and actually vacuumed the seats & floor, cleaned the glass and wiped down the inside of my car. TL;DR - Mike went above and beyond all of my expectations in his efforts to get my car fixed up and for that, I am extremely grateful, and would not hesitate to recommend him to everyone I know. Longer Version: I've only had one experience with Mike's Body Shop, but it was excellent and after it, I'd definitely recommend Mike's to anyone in need of auto body work. I came in with my car following a minor collision in order for him to assess the amount of work the car was going to be in order to provide me a timeframe for when he would be able to get to it. Upon his spot inspection, he concluded that he could probably just buff out the damage on my car and then offered to do that right then and there, despite the fact that it was 5 minutes prior to his shop's closing time for the day. He was able to buff out all the damage, didn't charge me a dime for the work, and didn't even submit the claim to the insurance company because, as he stated, "the time and hassle involved with submitting the claim wouldn't be worth it" based on the reimbursement he would have received. Mike's actions were the epitome of exemplary customer service in a day and age where that rarely exists anymore. I will be returning to him for any and all future auto body work I find myself needing. read more

I had a great experience with Mikes body shop. First of all Mike answers the phone every time and he's the owner. He helped me drop my car off and get a rental car without taking any time at all. They did a great job fixing my car but most of all Mike is a walking example of customer service. He gave me multiple rides to the rental car place, moved a baby seat, and made sure I was totally satisfied. Have been to Mike's on more than one occasion. Initially, I was asked to go there by a neighbor who had known him for years and hoped I would go there to repair some minor paint damage on one of my cars (caused by the neighbor's dog). From the first experience, through collision damage on an icy road, to paint rework on a damaged car, to parts replacement from minor events, Mike has always been prompt, clear in his estimates, and basically a professional with a friendly smile.
