Waited a long time for an employee just to come out and see what we wanted and then got an attitude and wasn't very friendly when my husband was asking questions about a compound bow. Like this is not how you make sales and this is not professional. if you want someone to buy your equipment then maybe you should be more customer service friendly. I had to walk out of the store because I was gonna get very disrespectful because the guy just absolutely is not friendly. The guy acted like it's an inconvenience to have customers in the store.

A Truly Outstanding Experience at Impact Archery! My fiancée and I had an absolutely incredible experience with Charles, the owner of Impact Archery. After purchasing her a new bow, we called the shop to see if we could get some professional help assembling everything and getting it dialed in. When we showed up an hour later, Charles immediately put his lunch aside, cleared the workbench, and got straight to work -- talk about dedication! From the moment we walked in, Charles was friendly, personable, and unbelievably knowledgeable. He made us feel right at home, getting to know us and even sharing his own stories while he meticulously built out the bow. He took the time to let her choose all her favorites - serving colors, peep size, and every other detail you could imagine. Nothing was rushed, nothing was overlooked. Once the bow was set up, Charles brought us back to the indoor range and spent focused, one-on-one time making sure everything was perfect -- draw length, poundage, peep placement, sight tuning - you name it. He fine-tuned everything with an expert eye until it was shooting beautifully. Then he gave us time to shoot on our own and make sure we were 1000% happy with the final setup. Honestly, we had so much fun working with Charles that we didn't even want to leave. The passion, care, and professionalism he pours into his work are truly unmatched. We can't wait to come back to Impact Archery to shoot with Charles (Owner), Tracy (General Manager and Private Lesson Instructor), and the rest of their fantastic team. If you need anything archery-related - beginner help, expert tuning, or just a welcoming place to shoot -- Impact Archery is the place to go. Highly, highly recommend!

My wife and I, along with our friends, have come to this place multiple times. Every time we come, all the staff have been truly amazing. They have all taught us something new about archery each time. We love how patient and awesome the staff are, even when we are sometimes slow on learning the new techniques. All the staff we have dealt with seem like they love this sport and are passionate about teaching it to everyone. I am so glad we started off with Impact Archery. They have made me love this sport, and I can't wait for Impact Archery to customize a bow for myself and my wife If you are even at all interested in learning about this sport, please go check this business out. The staff is extremely patient, knowledgeable, and they will help you learn.

My boy Tracy got me right!! had a last min archery cow elk tag & he got me ready for it! had me practice my shots & even found me the perfect bow!!

This place is very underrated. I loved it!! My friend and I did about an hour of shooting after a quick safety video for only $35 each. It takes a lot more skill than I ever thought. The group I was in was small. Just one other couple was with us. I would love to do this more often, and really get comfortable with a bow. If u have your own equipment you can have a hour of range time for $15, I believe. Open from 10am to 8pm.

A great bachelor party activity Came to Impact Arhcery for a friends bachelor party and had a great time with our group of 6. Tracey with Impact Archery was very helpful in getting us started and creating a fun environment for the group. I'd come back for practice!

Did my own adjustment on this and what a difference! After this I graduated myself to 20 yards.

There are not many pro shops for archery in town. Being a beginner at archery in Las Vegas it was almost a coin flip, but Impact Archery can always be seen from the freeway so it stuck in my mind. It was not a mistake to come here. Tracy, one of the shop runners, immediately sensed my excitement over the phone to get my first bow set up. After a quick session to get my draw length down and peep sight in, he tasked me to get arrows and a release. 500 spine is hard to find locally. It is more common to find 400 and up since those accommodate higher poundage. Anyway, arrows in hand I went back and got the arrows cut and tipped and was ready for my first real range session. Tracy gave me one piece of sage wisdom (actually he dropped another one on me today), almost zen like, which has, and will stick with me for many years I plan to put in this hobby/sport. Because there was minimal instruction except for the fundamentals and basics of shot setup and execution, the rest of the learning experience was for me to figure out my body and ease and correct my own mistakes with his words ringing in my head whenever I death grip the bow, or my head is tucked in, or I don't stand up straight, or my left shoulder is too high, or my draw arm isn't high enough, and even if my nose isn't touching the string. If you are a beginner like me and after a couple sessions get the ultimate satisfaction of hitting a target, do yourself a favor and get a membership. $50 dollars for the month is not bad since I was in there at least 6 times in the first week of this month. $10 an hour for a lane rental, but you have to bring your own equipment. I know people might be looking for cooler things to do, in Vegas, like axe throwing or shooting a machine gun, but trust me when I say, there's just something different about archery that is satisfying because you put your whole self into it. Thank you Tracy for all the help getting me started and on the right path!

Hi. My daughter & I are interested in learning archery but have no idea how to get started. What do we do initially?

I would recommend making a reservation on our website for our shooting experience. It is under the "One hour lane and equipment rental". After that maybe we can discuss purchasing equipment and lessons and memberships. Does that sound good?

Upon arriving, since it was our first time we were asked to watch a safety video and sign waivers prior to starting. If you come during the day there was a little cafe to get food and drinks if you were planning on spending the day out there. The range is outdoors and the weather was perfect. When we first arrived it was not super busy. There are about 12 spots for the beginners to shoot from. For $15, we were able to shoot as much as we wanted from 6:30-8:30 which I thought was a great price especially since it included rental equipment. The staff were super friendly and helpful with suggesting tweaks to aim/shoot better. Over time, more people arrived and the staff gave the option for those who had gotten comfortable shooting at the closest range if they were interested in trying a farther target to make space. Although the crowd was larger, it never felt overcrowded and we never had to wait on a lane to be open. We're already making plans to bring our husbands back to try it out too, so it's safe to say we enjoyed it!

Thomas Fuller As far back as the Stone Age, archery has been present. It's one of the oldest of sports and it's supported by the ancient artifacts that have been preserved and found. Prior to man using a gun to kill and destroy other objects and people the use of a bow and arrow was used. The word archery comes from the Latin word arcus, which means bow and arrow. In fact, in an archery game the arrow can fly twice over again than what a cheetah can run. We have all these facts about archery. Why should one care about archery today? We don't hunt any longer? We have guns to shoot our enemies and kill our food? If one forgets their past history, like what is apparently happening today all these things are forgotten. Even if your not hunting, which I would never do. Taking an animals life for sport is wrong. That's just my personal preference. Im not going to hunt any humans either? But we need to keep the past alive here in the present. The staff here are very well trained in the skills of archery. Maybe not for hunting but just to keep the skill alive. Most of the staff are on the younger side as well. They build bows here for all price ranges. And can even teach you how to use your bow properly. While the bow and arrow was mankind's first weapon of choice and advanced technology. In many American Native cultures the bow and arrow symbolized an embodiment of magic as given through the spirit world. These days the bow and arrow has truly evolved. The compound bow is what we ended up taking home vs the recurve bow. The compound bow allows the user to draw with more control and less weight as you use it. The compound bow is truly better at accuracy than the recurve bow. Most individuals start on a recurve bow and graduate to a compound bow. The consistency of the compound bow might seem more complex it's easy to master with practice. A good shooter is known for their aim. Archery is in the love of watching the arrow fly and hit the target. Now focus your mind and let the bow be part of you. Aim and let go and watch the arrow fly to the target.

Anyways he then started running through scenarios about me clearing my home and someone taking the gun from me. The entire interaction felt like he had already decided I shouldn't have one at all, which is not his call to make and not what I was there for. What made it worse is this isn't even my first firearm (it's number 8) , which he never bothered to ask. Even if I was new ...bro everyone learns somewhere, and the whole reason I was there was to purchase my a new one and add it to my collection and continue training with it and learning more about it in classes.
