My Friend and I did a Thursday night lesson to do something different for girls night. Upon arriving, since it was our first time we were asked to watch a safety video and sign waivers prior to starting. If you come during the day there was a little cafe to get food and drinks if you were planning on spending the day out there. The range is outdoors and the weather was perfect. When we first arrived it was not super busy. There are about 12 spots for the beginners to shoot from. For $15, we were able to shoot as much as we wanted from 6:30-8:30 which I thought was a great price especially since it included rental equipment. The staff were super friendly and helpful with suggesting tweaks to aim/shoot better. Over time, more people arrived and the staff gave the option for those who had gotten comfortable shooting at the closest range if they were interested in trying a farther target to make space. Although the crowd was larger, it never felt overcrowded and we never had to wait on a lane to be open. We're already making plans to bring our husbands back to try it out too, so it's safe to say we enjoyed it!

"An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So, when life is dragging you back with…read moredifficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great." Thomas Fuller As far back as the Stone Age, archery has been present. It's one of the oldest of sports and it's supported by the ancient artifacts that have been preserved and found. Prior to man using a gun to kill and destroy other objects and people the use of a bow and arrow was used. The word archery comes from the Latin word arcus, which means bow and arrow. In fact, in an archery game the arrow can fly twice over again than what a cheetah can run. We have all these facts about archery. Why should one care about archery today? We don't hunt any longer? We have guns to shoot our enemies and kill our food? If one forgets their past history, like what is apparently happening today all these things are forgotten. Even if your not hunting, which I would never do. Taking an animals life for sport is wrong. That's just my personal preference. Im not going to hunt any humans either? But we need to keep the past alive here in the present. The staff here are very well trained in the skills of archery. Maybe not for hunting but just to keep the skill alive. Most of the staff are on the younger side as well. They build bows here for all price ranges. And can even teach you how to use your bow properly. While the bow and arrow was mankind's first weapon of choice and advanced technology. In many American Native cultures the bow and arrow symbolized an embodiment of magic as given through the spirit world. These days the bow and arrow has truly evolved. The compound bow is what we ended up taking home vs the recurve bow. The compound bow allows the user to draw with more control and less weight as you use it. The compound bow is truly better at accuracy than the recurve bow. Most individuals start on a recurve bow and graduate to a compound bow. The consistency of the compound bow might seem more complex it's easy to master with practice. A good shooter is known for their aim. Archery is in the love of watching the arrow fly and hit the target. Now focus your mind and let the bow be part of you. Aim and let go and watch the arrow fly to the target.

GETTING HERE: I was…read morevisiting Vegas so I can't provide specifics on location, sadly. But, the address is correct here on the big Y so you can navigate here correctly. REVIEW: My first trip ever to a Bass Pro! I have always wanted to visit one and this did not disappoint my expectations! If I had my druthers, I would probably still be there exploring all the nooks and crannies. I am not a fisherman, or hunter, or really anything outdoorsy, but I strive to be when I grow up! :) Service: I didn't see many employees on the floor at all, but the few I did interact with were polite enough. That's a plus for me. Selection: So much selection and varieties and choices and options! Value: As I didn't have anything to compare this visit to, I felt the prices were 2026 (sadly) appropriate. Thanks Bass Pro for the experience. Can't wait to either be back here or find another location. Enjoy!

Calling all outdoor enthusiasts!…read more Ok it's a tradition, it's a ridiculous one and concept! On memorial weekend and days from years yonder we go to Bass! It's the redneck and family tradition. We get to see the flags! Our country let's not forget; aside from politics! Non sense in my opinion! But the staff and community rally together and come and see the flag display here at Bass on Memorial Day. Let our freedom ring and be heard. Thank you to the staff here at Bass for remembering those that served. Generational leadership and dedication to my country have come from those giving their lives to serve me and yours . I stand with those that have given me freedom! The business that remember too! The last Memorial Day was amazing, the display! It allows an individual to reflect on the past and map out the future .The dedication you allow thank you. All that comes from your store is great. Truly!
