This review is being made after 5 months of ownership of my vehicle. On January I made the step to buy a 2005 Mazda 6 wagon with about 109000 miles. I did take a test drive and noted the car ran and drove. I asked, " Are there any mechanical issues with the car?", to which the reply was, "No.".
A few days later I acquired it. Here is when things went south. Just 37 miles after leaving the lot, the front end begun smoking. I got home called my neighbor and asked him to come back with me and take the car back to Charles. Upon arrival at the lot, I was told he would not pay me back my money.
The main issue been the lemon law in Texas. Quick note, the lemon law states as follows, "Texas consumers with lemon vehicles may be protected under either the Texas Lemon Law, the Magnon-Moss Warranty Act (the federal lemon law), or both. Remedies may include refund, replacement or cash compensation such as diminished value and/or incidental and consequential damages."
Upon having it checked, the radiator had a hole in it. After failed attempts to get my money back, Charles offered to fix the radiator and pump. 1 week later, I had to collect the car not at the dealership but at the repair shop and then travel back home. Addition, He poured water in the power steering fluid location. SMH.
2nd issue, emissions test. This car could not pass it. Car needed a new EGR solenoid and valve. Total cost by Gullo Mazda, 1500 dollars. Remember, I asked if this car had any issues and was told no. I proceeded to report the issue to the BBB to get my money back and nothing.
I did not care about looks but about mechanical soundness at the time. While at the dealership I had them check for more issues that totaled to 6132.98 dollars in total repairs.
What repairs you may ask? How about a new Clutch kit, new right axle, new control arms, new brakes and rotors and 6 new spark plugs and 1 coil pack!!!!!
My main issue is being told the car was fine when it was not. IT COULD NOT EVEN PASS INSPECTION FOR GOD'S SAKE EVEN THOUGH I AM THE 2ND OWNER OF THE CAR!!!!!!
If you are buying a car here come with some mechanic or friend good with cars. This is not how business is done.
I was raised to speak myself out and speak what I have seen and experienced. This by far is the worst purchase experience ever. read more
