Imel Pest Control - friendly, very professional and thorough service.

We had been using Imel for past services. However, our most recent interaction with them has changed that. From the technician coming out on the wrong day, to then arriving 45 minutes early and not notifying us they were coming early to then when the technician couldn't reach anyone we were then slapped with a no show fee - I was so disappointed. 3 adults and a dog didn't not hear the technician "knock multiple times" and the technician called from his personal cell, once, without leaving a message. I don't answer calls from names/numbers I don't know. Had he of left a message, I wouldn't returned the call or let him in immediately. Again - just an unnecessary interaction/fee. I understand the technicians have a schedule to keep but it wasn't our fault he showed 45 minutes early or that he didn't actually knock or try calling a second time before leaving (especially with 3 cars in the driveway). Very frustrated. read more

Imel pest control promptly did a termite inspection when we found rotting wood in the frame around our garage door. The inspector, Neil, said the termites were no longer there and did a thorough inspection of the entire house to see if they had spread to another area. Fortunately, they were nowhere else. He recommended getting a yearly inspection which we will most certainly do. We really appreciated his professionalism and honesty and highly recommend Imel pest control. read more

We were specifically told we could put our animals in the yard while the exterminator worked. This was not true. Exterminator was unwilling to wait while I made arrangements for my animals even though it was still 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment time and left. When we called to try to get him to come back we were told she would call us back after she figured something out. She did not call back. When I called, I was told she was busy with a customer. I tried to tell her that I had made arrangements for my animals and to have him come back. She refused to listen to me because she was the reason there was a problem. I did not cuss or yell at her. I simply tried to file a valid complaint and she hung up on me three times for absolutely no reason. I spent days doing all of the prep work for the extermination and took time off work. Now they refuse to even take my calls just because I pointed out their mistake. No money was exchanged (thankfully because these people obviously do not keep their word and would probably have not refunded it since they couldn't even be reached for customer service) but money was lost in the day that we took off of work for an appointment we had scheduled. This all took place BEFORE our original appointment time had passed so there is absolutely no reason why the appointment could not have been kept. Bad business. Inconsiderate, rude, unreasonable, and impatient. read more
