I had an hour slot booked where I wanted to do a couple smaller memorial tattoos in memory of my mother who passed from ovarian cancer. The nice thing is, I had changed my mind a bit since showing the initial proof to Zion Tattoo when I initially booked. Travis was totally fine with it and adjusted to my wants. I also appreciated how he added his input on my ideas to ensure they looked good upon completion. I was there for about 45 minutes, everything was fast and inclusive. It was an amazing experience in a clean and comfortable environment and I appreciated how Travis kept checking in with me to make sure I was doing alright and was just very personable. He takes pride in his work and I'd definitely recommend Travis at Zion as an artist and one who especially pays attention to detail - even the smaller detail tattoos - and I will definitely be returning again for more!

He informed me of how the information would be secured. Parking was not too bad, we parked about a block away. The shop was cleaned and he explained everything to each child. Shop was clean, Brandon did a good job on educating me about modern piercing protocols. Discussed my likes/dislikes, placement, aftercare, jewelry options, etc. I pretty much knew what I wanted when I came in the door, so it was easy for both of us. Brandon and I discussed scar tissue from previous piercings, he marked the spot he thought would be best. I verified the spot, picked a hoop, and Brandon got 'er done in no time flat! Wonderful experience! Shop was clean, Brandon was clean, UBSI precautions were followed including proper "sharps" disposal, etc. I'm probably not going to go down any body piercing rabbit holes, but if I did... I had gotten my nose pierced with Selina and unfortunately after a good month of healing I started experiencing hypertrophic scarring (which is basically the skin producing excessive collagen ) and resulted in an ugly bump around my piercing. I have been visiting Selina since then and she has been so helpful giving me various tips and tricks to help me bring the bump down and heal without scarring. Has my bump completely gone? No, its a work in progress but having someone like Selina to work with has really made me worry less about it and know it will eventually go away.
